I was so down after exam as it was so hard for me...i just thought to hear the explanation to clear my mind and now my score is 90.67 as per byjus discussion. I'm going to start my mains preparation irrespective of what the cut off will be. @@OK-vw1xc yes this was my 1st attempt. Read news paper regularly thats the key and also hear daily analysis ( i recommend byjus) thats the best way. At the later stages of preparations you can take any monthly compilation of any provider but stick to just 1 publisher (anyone would suffice as compilation is just addition to the knowledge you get from newspaper) and dont go for many beacuse quantity not quality matters. Revision of the same stuff is the most Imp thing. Also make short notes of things u feel imp for exam from current affairs perspective. This is the best strategy according to me And all the best

Just I completed all standard material as prescribed by many topper's.. now I started my revision...self preparation ( I'm able to answer 40% of this yr prelims)
Suggest me good test series....
Firstly, thankyou so much for all your initiatives that helped me in this prelims. I am able to solve many of the questions only due to your daily materials and now want to focus on mains.
(The biggest hurdle i am facing is to find a mentor who could analyse my answers and suggest corrections, hence guiding me to a correct path.)
Please suggest something in this regard.

In question no 30 if the parliament shall meet at least two times in an year then at least for 2 days is should meet.

Yes , public investment is not same as public expenditure. Investment always means some sort of "capital" formation should be there. So MSP and loan waiver shouldn't come in public investment category. Also many other institute are taking option (c) as correct.

In Series C question number 77 Gandhi itvin.... Hindi me option B and English me Option B are different....
First of all thank u byju's for the free classes. My score is 102 as per your key..But I had also looked at some of the other answer keys out there and my score is seen to fluctuate between 92 and 102... Hope u can shed some clarity on the dubious questions...thank u.
According to Byjus , my marks are reducing but in other answer keys increasing ...there are many confusing ques...so U think we should start preparing for mains bcz 5-6. Ques variations would be there in Upsc answer key

I have a doubt regarding the question about welfare state. DPSP part "DIRECTS" about to ideal of welfare state. But Preamble "DECLARES" India as a socialist state, which essentially is a idea of welfare state. Please clarify.
