沙巴的華人中，客家人佔大多數，而且基督徒特別多。他們有一個至今仍堅持的傳統，就是用客家話來做禮拜。我特地來參加 了他們的聚會，讓我有如穿越到1970年代以前的新界，特別在這裡跟大家分享。
Among the Chinese in Sabah, the majority is Hakka. Also, many of them are Christians. They are still keeping the tradition of holding congregations in Hakka. I participated their worships and felt like time travel back to the 1970s of New Territoties in Hong Kong. Let me share with you in this video.

沙巴的客家话很好听，而且感觉用词很有礼貌。
比如: 问=汝吃饱吾前。涯吃饱开。

据说沙巴州最早期的华人就是客家基督徒。最老的客家教会是古达的巴色会老山堂。
可能系 太平天国革命失败后，逃命出来的 太平军基督徒 系沙巴州最早期的华人
应该是基督徒客家前还有一班不是由教会派来的客家先贤更早到达沙巴。

@@paulinelee8885 Kuala Lumpur. But my grandfather initially went to Sabah and he and his uncle escaped the war after his parents were killed. I guess being a youth lad at that time, he moved to the city.

Sabah is the only place in the world, outside of China and Taiwan, where Hakka is the lingua franca among local Chinese. British North Borneo Company recruited Chinese in Guangdong Province through the Basel Mission, Church of England and Roman Catholics. Mostly from 龍川縣.

Sabah former chief minister Pairin Kettingan also can speak Hakka
the key to preserving hakka is books, shows on historical hakkas etc .. because mandarin and english are the future in terms of career, material happiness success etc .. but there's an inner happiness for a person to know things about their roots .... there must be many interesting characters in history that are hakka.
Plenty of Hakka Yin in Sabah.

沙巴巴色教會和六十年代深水埗崇真堂,我感覺到两間教會的客語主日崇拜很相似.

六十年代崇真堂身處於深水埗黄竹街而當時崇真小學, 崇真英文書院和巴色樓都在窩仔山上.

Can I ask you a bit more information of the Hakka village in sha Tao Kok in HK area?
culture is the key. why do many young people all over the world want to learn korean. because of kpop. why do some westerners want to learn japanese, things like manga cartoons ... but modern cultural things like tv shows, movies , music. hakka probably seems like a dry boring language that's really old and not useful. in business it's not. but korean isn't useful in business either (that's why so many koreans learn mandarin too lol) . so it will have to be from a cultural perspective. a great start would be a movie about how hakka people came from china to sabah. it would be awesome ! in fact any of the hakka stories and their struggles on the sea and their adaptation to a new world (it would seem like space exploration like landing on mars back then) .. would make awesome movies !!!

但，系宝安腔，因惠阳同宝安县连在一地区。但。真正：惠东宝(腔)
不要强调用客家话传道，圣经 也没强调说，要用什么语言来传道，谢谢
应该系亚庇，唔是阿庇。😊 古达很多天主教徒是龙川客家。天主教弥撒虽然没有客家弥撒，但好几个神父讲道还是用客家话。
客家語最困擾人的是讀音。可謂南北西東客家文字的讀音，各有不同。

I left Christianity as the bible contains too many unfulfilled prophecies, atrocities and silly self contradictions to justify its claim of divine origins. Here are some of the silly biblical self contradictions.
1) Nebuzaradan
He came to Jerusalem in the 5th month, 7th day, 2 kings 25:8
He came to jerusalem in the 5th month, 10th day, Jeremiah 52:12
2) Jehoiachin
He was 18 years old when he began to reign, he reigned for 3 months, 2 kings 24:8
He was 8 years old when he began to reign, he reigned 3 months and 10 days, 2 chronicles 36:9
3) Ahaziah
He was 22 years old when he began to reign, 2 kings 8:26
He was 42 years old when he began to reign, 2 chronicles 22:2
4) Jesus tomb

5) Crucifixion

8) After resurrection

10) Good works
Let others see your good works to glorify your father, Matt 5:16
Hide your good works, otherwise your father will not reward you, Matt 6:1.
Trusting the bible is like trusting politicians who self contradict.
There is no commandment from God given to Moses that altering words, facts or narratives as sin. The scribes or writers or copiers of words of God have freedom to add or change or hype any thing they want to spread the message of hope of God. Everyone knows from Moses time, scribes alter narrative of genesis by stating Adam was naked when it is contradiction to everyone in heaven was clothed in fine linen as garments of salvation. Nakedness before God is offense....not image of God.

唔同色人讲客家话，多讲多听，接触多客家人自然好容易明白上手，新一代年轻华人多数唔敢讲客家话，感觉古板发音怪怪，建议把客家话变成搞笑版客话，可能将来会好多人会学讲客家话。

吉隆坡 怡保 芙蓉 很多客家人 超过沙巴 只是他们 说广东话 中国语 很少人知道他们是客家人 这三个城市 10个华人里面 最少有六个是客家人
