What is this world rugby order you want to see restored based on? England were the first team to be ranked 1 when rankings began, so is it a return to them at the top? @@geoffnelson6756New Zealand has held NO.1 SPOTS from 1987 to 1995, 1996 to 2002 2004 to 2017. Favorites at RWCs, barring 2003.
@@geoffnelson6756 out of 37 games ireland have only beaten abs 5 times - not that impressive and that 5 times was over an 8 year period - trying to make out nz is just an average team is very disingenuous from you - at the RWC nz lost by 1 point and the cup could have easily gone to nz unlike Ireland who cant get past QFs
@@geoffnelson6756 yet you couldn’t beat them when it really mattered 😅
In your heaaaaaad
@calitza many teams have got beyond the quarters at a WC, only one team in the professional era has won a test series in NZ, I think that matters, Friday didn't matter so no big shakes.
17 mins in and no mention of the quality of New Zealand? You need to cop on lads
New Zealand would have lost to South Africa if they were playing them. It was a shite match neither team could catch a ball in the first 20 minutes. NZ knew their game plan. Ireland didn't have one.
Nz were shit, Ireland were just more shit
Well once you get to 18 minutes, they do mention how good NZ were at cheating 🥱
It's a podcast about Irish rugby...
@@johnmccarthy9964 Yeah and like all the podcasts I've listened to around the AB game the pundits come over as oh so smug, Ireland is the only team good or bad enough to effect the game.
The irish Coaching team focus to much on being consistent winning and being number 1 ...but never do they care to built depth...building depth no need to be prepared to loose a few ..
Fire works displays, adding to the celebrations for kicks, knock ons, scrum resets etc. 😢 Spectators awards. 😂
Nothing more than biased cherrypicking, nitpicking, excusemaking (mainly by the lad in glasses to be fair).
First of all. Not one of you's mentioned wether u have enough talent in Ireland to make a shift to blooding others. And if u have right now then ur next other issue is that the RWC is next year. So to speak of any changes be it if they are warranted eg. injury, retirement, stand out talent, etc. Yes ur well behind the 8Ball of having new blood and battled hardened to handle the mental capacity to go up against some formidable opposition when the time comes. Playing softer opposition is not going to cut it. The 6 nations has always been the breeding grounds for exposing great talent rather than new up and coming one night wonders.
Eh the World Cup is in 2027, not next year.....🤷♂️
@@patrickoleary2862 I to be sure, to be sure lad. Then u might make it then laddy. Now the Irish have dun away with that infamous All Black "aura" they used to win for a hundred years or more.
There's the problem.....too many assumptions after van der Flier's try. Play in the now, Chicago has been and done, series win in NZ has been and done.
Connell will sort out the lineout the media keep telling us 😂😂😂 its been two years and no lineout
And he continues to get a free ride from the media + supporters - if we had had a functioning lineout in France maybe, just maybe we could have scraped into a RWC semi-final.
Ireland at rank third is not bad harden up irish
Perhaps Ireland should save the ’show boating’ until they actually win the game. They appeared guilty of not showing their opposition enough respect, something they’ve accused other teams of doing to them. Ireland like all good sides need to introduce some youth & let go of some of the old heads to freshen up their squad
Ireland started believing their own hype and have developed a sense of entitlement. So have their pundits it would seem.
@@sweetybnz7482 No, I think that has been NZ, for the first time in years NZ are ahead of Ireland in the rankings, they are currently 0.67 points ahead and the talk in NZ is like they are back in 2015, let's just let the games/rankings play out and hopefully enjoy the rugby
@geoffnelson6756 I guess the difference is that this NZ team is possibly at the beginning of something, whereas the Irish team look like they're at the end of something...only time will tell of course, but I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted.
@mrkiwi8250 you could be right, and we absolutely loved it, after years of playing our hearts out and grinding out the odd big win, somehow we built a squad to compete with the very best. So we are happy beyond our wildest dreams and no team can stay at the top all the time. We do have some promising acadamy players coming through, nothing like the NZ or SA production line, but don't think we will drop off a cliff and who knows, maybe they can pick off the big boys from time to time. Thanks
@geoffnelson6756 defo some good players coming though, it just may take some time.. we'll see!
The guy in the glasses needs to stop defending Ireland. Excuses and rationale for why they lost.
The ABs have come off a long year, they are travelling and had a 6 day turn around.
@@hwm2024 There has not been a pundit or ex player from any country who was not shocked by how 'off' Ireland were, questioning the reasons why that would be, so the Irish podcasts are saying the same as NZ and SA podcasts, and they all agree that although NZ did keep the pressure on, mostly these were unforced errors.
I disagree where NZ were cheating in the breakdown, if u look from a neutral perspective the Irish ☘️ were on the the wrong side of the ruck at least 5 times in the first half, and the referee did warn them next one was a card! He completely ignored this in the second half so the penalty count could of been worse
it seems the irish pundits have rose coloured glasses on when it comes to their "cheating" but nz blah blah cheating blah blah - Irish pundits have to learn to eat humble pie and realise they are not number "1" anymore - it may be different when they actually win a RWC and not continually act as if they already have
Bundee completed 2 passes in 80 minutes. Start there.
God defend New Zealand 🙏🏾💪🏾🇳🇿. Our secret weapon sword ⚔️.
Not good enough that where it went wrong
Excellent detailed analysis Trevor, look at these guys talking over the elements where Ireland made errors when you have a concise summation, have you ever thought of your own podcast? Of course they would only be 5 seconds long, NZ - good enough, Ireland - not good enough. SA - good enough, Scotland - not good enough. Australia - good enough, England - not good enough, SA - good enough, NZ - not good enough, you get my point, think you would capture the rugby community there, keep up the good work.
@@geoffnelson6756 🤣
At the whistle
When you play your best 15 every game, you don’t have any depth.
"Cheated really well". Obnoxious
LOL the Irish accusing the All Blacks of cheating at the ruck 😂😂💰💰💰
Richie McCaw was the master.
@@HenryBaggins-rz7mq unlike irish who have no masters only appentices
Ireland back where they rightly belong. World rugby order is restored. SA and NZ always ranked 1 and 2, Ireland's place is between 3 and 6
Yere very insecure aren't ye take out the steroids and yere not half the team ye claim to be
Ok ol'timer
2 lucky wins and all of a sudden you're world beaters. Hahaha.
What is this world rugby order you want to see restored based on?
England were the first team to be ranked 1 when rankings began, so is it a return to them at the top?
NZ have held 1 for much much longer historically than SA, so is it a return to their dominance? In this case, would SA too be back to where they "rightly belong", somewhere between 2 and 6?
@@illumenarty OK, we get the WC thing, SA and NZ have always had more depth and available players, that is perfect for a WC campaign, the ability to rest and rotate, approaching the knockouts in tip top condition, Ireland traditionally tend to get poor draws because of their ranking, often have a must win game to get to the knockouts, suffer some injuries and field a depleted team in the qf's, SA in particular get very fortunate draws, not taking anything away from their efforts in the knockout games. Even last year, Razzie said we knew if we beat Scotland we would qualify, leaving Ireland and Scotland in a knockout battle last game of the pools. Annoys the SH when Ireland throw a spanner in the works.
still going on about it, abs must really be in ya head 😆🇳🇿💯.

I'm came here for the Irish Cope and wasn't dissapointed 😂
You are in denial. Ireland were thrashed. Scored 10/13 points as a result of yellow card. Otherwise never looked threatening.
Troll alert
@@ObiePaddles It was actually 7 points, they were already awarded the penalty, so 1 try in beginning of the second half, yes, dominated by a tea who only managed 1 try. Lol
@@geoffnelson6756 technically 10 points from yellow card but fair enough. Still take the 7 points away and its 23-6. What would the Irish press have called an Irish victory by 10, 17 or 20 points?
I dont remember a try in the first half.
In the last 5 years I’ve always been stressed playing Ireland. This game was hardly stressful as Ireland had nothing on attack when 15 on 15. ABs didn’t convert line breaks into points which would have been nice.
@@Coreylahey1000 more of an elf. Maybe you could point out the the threats I missed.
@ObiePaddles Why would you take the 10 points off? Ireland were motivated at the start of the 2nd half, but the line break stats were 9-1 to NZ, big defensive effort to keep NZ to one try, but Ireland couldn't get to multi phase as they kept dropping the ball in largely unforced errors.
Your not as good with Players Retired back to 20+ hidings I'm sorry to say but not really you really lost your heads believing Youse are World Champions over SA & NZ was insulting revenge is still on its way
It’s a points system that decides no 1 get a grip.
