Books for Artistic Inspiration: Keep Going Austin Kleon

After struggling to push myself through and KEEP GOING lately with my daily photography practice, I decided to pick up Austin Kleon's KEEP GOING and see if it would provide some of the inspiration I needed to get out of my rut and push through to create more art.

Rad vid, the process never ends. I find its a cycle, both the creative side as well as the motivational side of things. I have to give my self time to breathe with other things, albeit photo, video, drone etc to keep my flow going.

Glad you got something out of it! I pretty much had to make it as a way to keep motivated in creating stuff. There’s advice in the book that I cut from the video, because of how I delivered it… but it suggests that if all else fails make art that intentionally sucks for the sake of getting something made. If you can’t think of anything else, start there!

Probably not any time soon. I was stuck in Thailand for most of the last few years and travelled within it a lot during that time, so it’ll be a while before I go again.
