I use background checks on the people I talk with , even if you don't have their number a picture is enough or email

Do a face call , does the face match the pictures, and always met in public places, let friends and family your location and have your own transportation, there are a lot of con artists and scams out there , take your time and speak to the people in your life that have years of experience, their wisdom and advice will be very helpful, also look for love on clean dating apps , and be aware of any talk about money etc , probably a scam

Guy gets arrested over there, needs bail money
Credit card gets stopped
His phone cannot video chat, cannot borrow another phone
Guy is in the hospital, needs money
Guy asks for $50, then $200 and so on

Your friends keep telling you it is a scam

Remember there may be some people that are pretending to convince you in a relationship, May have false intentions like money , resources etc, use a secondary number like from TextNow app , and be careful with red flags , they will butter you with their sweet words and flattery but don't believe it
