The tail lights you found are “1939/1940 Buick Special Century Tail Light Housing SIGLO Lens” … same ones, same condition, listed on eBay at CDN$420! You in da money!!!
Awesome, thanks for identifying them!
I heard the emergency services in the background so obviously one of your neighbours reported a bio hazard in the vicinity. Abandon the vehicle and hide your jacket quickly😂
I have never been so happy to lose a give away
lmao
You've inspired me. I'm going to shovel out my trunk too.
Enjoy your trunk shoveling!
Those laughing children in the background weren't playing. They were laughing at your purchase. Did you get that vehicle from Dean's Greasy Car Flips or what ? Surely Scott doesn't sell cars that are in that condition. Scott only sells show cars. LOL
Even Dean has "some" standards!
@@PhaQ2 You do know I'm joking, right ? Dean does have some nice classics for sale. I'm only mentioning Scott & Dean because Kyle knows them. And, I feel all three of them have a sense of humor.
@@sonsofthunder915 Ofcourse! It's all good bro!
.
I don't think there's enough grease on it to qualify for Dean
@@rivenmotors7981 I'm not sure of that. If my memory is correct every car Dean has ever looked at he says openly in so many words "it's beautiful, Scott". LOL
Phew! That was lucky, I really didn’t want the jacket. Music still excellent.
Hey Kyle, I've seen worse!:( the dome light lense and the headlight lenses make the whole thing worth while! And then throw in those tail lights, you're golden! When I was rebuilding my jeeps I bought two "parts" jeeps that end up getting restored. You never know!😅
Kyle you may not get to read this but that's okay .When you were pointing out the damaged front drivers side fender . My wife stepped in the room . So I stopped the video and told her you could make that fender look new again and she was impressed . So you don't have to do it but if you do I will ask her to watch because I know you can do it . Looking forward to all of you projects . JIM
I really like watching him straightening a fender or whatever
Hey Jim, you may be in luck. The fenders are getting some attention in the next episode!
@@CarterAutoRestyling great you inspire me when your working the sheet metal your skill is art .
I really enjoy watching an old car get cleaned up a bit. Even if it seems hopeless and a wasted effort, in the end, it is inspiring and motivates creative thinking. Thanks, Kyle.
Maybe $64,999 but 65k? I mean, come on man 😮😅😂
Is this jacket giveaway a total scam or what?? A Cannadian winner? Here in the USA, serious concerns have surfaced regarding "foreign" Utube automotive content, attempting to destroy our lives. Keeping all the burntt up chineese jackets in another country, when we need them here is definately another conspiracy. Oh the shame,,,,
Great to see you having fun it was worth the time watching your verbal mischievous comedy action video, thanks for Great entertainment on your channel.
Glad you enjoyed it
When the video started I thought 65,000 seemed high. Then I saw it had the rare rear door removal option and realized you paid 10,000 less than what it's worth. Congratulations.
LOL junk tetris. I'm going to steal that for sure. Sorry about your purchase, that's a rough one.
I noticed on your new old stock '35 Chevy that the interior lights didn't come on when you opened any of the doors? I'd check on that quickly to make sure that it's just a bulb or a fuse that needs to be replaced. You wouldn't want a short circuit to occur that could burn down your new toy or the garage that's positioned right behind it, would you?
I took it in to the dealership and thankfully it was just a bad fuse!
@@CarterAutoRestyling Whew, that was a relief. Thank goodness for Canadian craftmanship!
You could make a 2-door, 2-door delivery or a pickup. A half-track. Limited only to your imagination!
I could see a truck
Being Australian, I vote for either a UTE, or a SLOPER,which, unlike a 2door, starts to curve back from just behind the "B" pillars. Look them up,
Well - maybe also limited by available time & money I guess ...
The project for this car is totally obvious. It's the golden opportunity to build a '35 Chevy with a front end on both ends.
Hahahahaha!!!
I knew I wouldn't win. I have never won f#@$ all. If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any.
Next time when they post pictures of the car on a etchasketch, maybe don't trust their judgement. That was a two door conversation D&D will be jealous of, but on the bright side that is one honest car they hid nothing.
Good start on a poultry farm.. you got the goose purchasing a turkey that will no doubt upstage your chicken truck. BTW.. the insurance on the Master will payout your claim.. the doors were murdered.. they did not commit suicide.
Dems Jeffrey Epstein doors.
Kyle you have the most killer sense of humor. I would love to see any work you choose to do on this beauty. I know you have no plans to restore it but I have complete faith in you that you could if you wanted. Nice score on the dome light lens cover.
I'll bet your neighbors are thrilled at your classic car addition.
Well it's certainly something. I always like seeing parts get fixed up from their beaten condition so I'd sure like to see the fenders fixed. Very curious to see your plans for this beast, I like the idea of making it a 2 door hotrod thingy!
Those actually are Buick taillights, Dubs thinks 37. Save all the special Wester gard parts! Since ya already converted into a 2 Dr., 3 window taildragger, should done in another day or 2. Might need a bit more plaster tho,,,Love, D sweat shop
You always know it’s a good car when you start cleaning with a snow shovel 😂
Good work Kyle, also I’m going to add “Junk Tetris” to my vocabulary. I’ll try to give you credit if I remember. 👍
Water?
You think it has water in the crankcase?
I wouldn`t be surprised to find fish & FROGS in the crankcase!
In Australia we would say that after its last registration it was used as a "PADDOCK BASHER".
Your shirt color matches the car. Very trendy.
I always coordinate my outfit to the vehicle I am working on
I thought with the sirens in the background it was the neighborhood association coming for you. For having that classic Chevrolet in your yard. 😂 looking forward to seeing more mayhem. Cheers ✌️😎👍❤️🚨
"smells as good as it looks..." 😄
just to be clear i think that's the car milner met his fate in american graffiti 3 after his coupe was repro'd. whadda score! btw glad to see you use 'duck duck go'. *congrats...? to steve!*
That engine block is way too cool to scrap....I'm thinking coffee table! 🤷♂️
Heck Kyle. That looks like something Scott and Dean would be proud to own.
I really don't know what you're complaining about, it's really not that bad... as a matter of fact, if one of them wasn't blue I'd be hard pressed to tell which was which. Great show! Cheers from one of the little people you stepped on, on your way up..
Thanks for sticking with me throughout all the controversy. I won't lie, it has been fun throwing all the little people under the bus on my way to becoming a discovery channel celebrity
@@CarterAutoRestyling 😆
All the great villains of history have left a path of destruction and brokenhearts along the way!😆
@@glennnickerson8438 😆
Fresh hairstyle, fancy office chair. I thought you leaving for the corporate world. Glad to see you finally found a project to keep you busy!
It’s definitely a 32 ! I can tell because of the way that it is ! 😊
I think so too!
You gotta expect a few blemishes. A good detail should bring that right around. The patina look costs money, that's something you can't buy at Kia, you want that, better be willing to trade with someone who knows classics. You're looking at it all wrong, you have the only one in that exact condition. You might have under paid.
My dad bought a brand new Cadillac El Dorado in 79. The door fell off on the drive home from the dealership. Drove it over 100k miles before the first oil and plug change. So you have a winner there! Only someone with your talent can breathe life into that car.
The 500 engine and front wheel drive. I remember if I floored it, the pedal stuck full open.
Was disappointed to see you rip out the interior of your latest "35. Thought you might put the seats in your living room. I've noticed you don't have an abundance of furniture in there.
Looked very nasty on arrival and somewhat usable pieces in following cleaning. No silver dollars laying in plain sight either. I do not think I would want to sift through all that dirt for a canadian dime that is now worthless like our american dimes. No silver content in them, thinking about sometime in the forties is when they reduced or removed all silver... na, might that be in the sixties when silver was all gone. Actually I see a car here Kyle and you are a man who could do this should you be so bored out of that box of ideas above the shoulder blades. I have seen you fix a lot worse. Surprised at how strong that front seat bracketry is ... Just for fun should we encourage you to do so, a polishing pad and four large cans of polish to clean any tiny spot of paint remaining might leave a idea of how pretty it was rolling down the street in late thirty five.
65,000 cents would be ok for that car, lol. Can the old wood bits be replaced with steel?
I'm sure glad one of us won the jacket.
Yes the wood can be replaced with steel, but it's a massive job
The contest is rigged. My jacket was stolen. I'll see you in court. It's the American way. If you don't like the message kill the messenger. On another note, thank you for taking the time to make this video. Mary sends her love. Joseph is out back hunting something.
Happy hunting to Joseph!
I think you might be wrong about the previous owner taking care of it. After all, it looked mighty clean after you took the number-9-wire off the passenger door. That crud on the outside must have all be in the delivery. Sue the shipping company.
Yes! I love watching you fix stuff other people would throw out. Fix the fender!
I have a feeling we're going to see a 35 Chevy custom car build after the Chicken truck! Can't wait!
I have a feeling we're looking at a parts car for his other Chevy. Especially the rare front steering.
It isnt often you come across a car with its own eco-system inside it, but it is mostly there. At least it is something to work with and start from.
The wheels match the colour of the other car inserted. :)
lovely instant 2 door conversion, the blue one is still the better one of the 2
but i prefere the yellow one, yellow one has potential
In the video, the blue car grille has slight anomalies that may indicate that the "Master" emblem may have been in the same position as the one on the new car.
Yeah someone else pointed that out too. I never noticed until now!
Well at least it was probably alot cheaper than the real deal. Thing is we know you have the talent to make it look like a 32 duce coop with a little cutting and fabrication and welding congratulations
5200 masters were built in canada 1500 in 1935
Awesome thanks!
@@CarterAutoRestyling it breaks my heart to see a car that led a hard life. kinda like seeing an abused animal. glad it will live on in some way.
that car and your coat go together . perfect match!!
A lifetime of Kyle Designer ware!😆
I think once you wash off the dust and dirt from it being transported to your place. And then give it good buff, polish and wax. It should look like the pics you received from the classic car flipper😂
I have a feeling that you have some kind of big plans for this new purchase. I’m sure that it will be great, I saw the video with Carl and I thought you mentioned a 4 door to a 2 door conversion could this be the project for that. Guess we will all see in time. Later
Was 3 window mentioned???
Parts car,, like in falls apart, makes it easy.Cheers.
With the custom Briggs murrree interior, and your jacket, probably build a real cherry! L/D
Always remember, Too many Irons in the fire puts the fire out!
Let's face it man, that wasn't a sporting event in the background. That was your neighbors laughing at you.
You look like a highschool kid getting car ready for the prom!!!!LOL!
Wow. So the infamous Scott/Dean tag team got you again? Waiting now for the CWM video of the event, complete with grandstands and jeering crowds....
You definitely got ripped off. A vehicle of this superior quality and condition should have come with at least 3 shed snakeskins and one complete snake skeleton 1 meter or longer. As for floorboards, be grateful there is at least something there. The Bugeye Sprite I'm restoring has the "Complete flow-thru exterior air ventilation system" preferred by those that dip snuff or use a chaw of tobbacceee and prefer to just spit through the floor instead of on it.
PS, I knew a guy who had a 35 sedan. He wanted a coupe so he found the rear half of a coupe and proceeded to splice the two together. I never knew if he actually finished it but the roof lines are completely different .... 😐😐
One project at a time, sir! You're going to upstage Mr. Chicken and make him jealous with that "Kyle Pile"...
On another note, I want to thank you for NOT selecting my comment in the smoking jacket contest. I wasn't sure how I would explain that one to my wife...
Dubs thinks ya gotta great deal for $6.50. You could sell the custom rear bumper for at least that. Save all the coachbuilt Briggs muraye coupe parts for her next "custom".
Your sense of humor is great, you can never have enough parts car's, i bought a parts jeep for my 54 m38a1 jeep willys. It's a lot cheaper to buy a parts car instead of trying to buy individual parts. I needed the 16" military wheels for my 54 m38a1, because the wheels on the good jeep were 15 inch, and the seller didn't know what her dad did with the original wheels. The wheels were about what i paid for the parts jeep. The body is shot on the parts jeep, but the frame and drive line are in good shape, except the motor is junk, but it was the lower hp L-134 engine, and the good jeep has the F-134 higher hp engine. I look forward to whatever you have planned for this new edition to the family of 35's you have. That jacket you're giving away matches that car perfect, almost a shame you've got a winner for the jacket lol.
G-d bless.
The Thing deserves a full restoration. It just ain't gonna get it 😂 Instead you converted it to a two door 1 hour into the ownership!
Only thing that car deserves is a memorial service. RIP
Fun episode. Thanks for the entertainment.
Dang😢
Attach the dealers credentials and the advert! We are here to shame him for ya❤
As soon as i hear missing body mounts i still think of Mr Hiltz 🤣. I have no idea what to with that fine automobile but i know you will make it entertaining.
@icebuntrucker i love the subtle and not so subtle digs at other car youtubers. I was waiting for a Derek Bieri smell description during the cleanup.
Ever thought about a frame swap? Im thinking an AWD Subaru. Lifted. Twin turbos. With flames!
Amazing what modern technology can do. A whiff of that car's interior actually came through in the video.
That custom sliced rear bumper looks impressive. Got too close to some Samurai soldier in battle methinks. Ahh the history one finds…
Kyle i want that back seat, it would make a great addition to my living room. its better than my current couch.
Sold!
Those taillights are from a 2078 Cadillac, so a fairly common item!
Whoever you got that from should have paid you a pretty good sum to haul it off their property. It;ll be fun seeing what you do with it.
Man it's in such good shape, maybe you should just flip it & collect some coin 🙃 😂!
Hey ... That's only $48, 100 American dollars... So there's that
An opportunity to make a two door out of a four door.
...or an 8 door out of 2 four doors. I read somewhere that two fours are cool.
Though I would mention that the passenger side rear tire is a little low, you might want to get some wind in it before you take that pristine car for a test drive😂
i have tottal confindence kyle that youll make it look great
What is the conversion for metric time?
3 shillings to a stone, as the crow flies divided by pi
Same as Celcius to Fahrenheit--double it and add 30!😆
@@CarterAutoRestyling Would that be apple or cherry pi?
There is a guy in Canada with a screen name of zzrodder. He builds some crazy cars out of these types cars. Looking forward to your next video
Cool I'll check into that
All that stuff that looks bad will easily buff out with 15 or 20 minutes of work.
Is it numbers matching? That's all that really matters!!! Is that a crack along the oil pan rail?
You didn't need a detailer, you needed a fumigator and perhaps, an exorcist.
The hood looks nice 😂
Paint it canary bird yellow and you will be good to go.
I've won! How do I claim my bank account emptying?
In corporate speak when they say “shovel ready project” this is not what they mean.
Just a little turtle wax and elbow grease
She'll buff out😂😅😂
🤙🤠👍
"BUT THE PATINA!"
Oh yeah Dude I would love to see you work on the new 35 looking forward to seeing you work on it 👍🏼
Came here for the car 🚗 repairs but like always I stayed for the music 🎶 🎵 🎶 😅😅😅😅🇨🇦👍
I have seen thousands of videos depicting barn finds, field queens, in the woods jewels being discovered and "seeing the light of day". But I have never seen one this great. A shovel to clean it out ! hahahahahahaa this is a winner winner CHICKEN DINNER!!!!
Dang, Kyle! They sent you a rusT-bucket by mistake! I'd complain. You oughtta wire that bonnet on, mate 'cos you can't trust anybody any more. I bet you there's a guy in your neighbourhood with an exact same Model A Hemi that's looking for one of those. You could've knocked me down with a horse-feather though when the boot floor showed up. I didn't think there were any left.
Kyle's gone Hollywood! We now have sound effects!😆
Just dream, believe, and achieve.
Thanks for the words of encouragement!
Thank you kindly Kyle,, 💖🙏💖
A memorable purchase worth your weight in work and skill. It’s a real Humdinger. You got your monies worth and then some.
That’s definitely a 32 Ford, it looks just like Milners’s.
I think the paint will buff out.
Pretty sure that motor is the much celebrated rotary reciprocating 1/2 V12
The fuel system on those came from the SR-71 Blackbird, they leaked fuel until they went supersonic.
You struck gold there bud, Chicken Truck and Mouse S*** in the same driveway.
Kyle, you stole that beauty. Someone poured their heart and soul into that restoration and are crying their eyes out now as they now scan their empty driveway.
you only had $65,000 in savings? thats like 5 USD
