I love the fact that Zenvo are so open about everything. Showing how the item is made and with what materials, most other car companies would hide all of that. Also like how the lads in there don’t mind talking to you even when they are concentrating. I’ve been to a few factories and nobody seems willing to talk
I would say being so open about it, is a thing of small companies, that are not corporations, nor are part of one. You can see the same with Koenigsegg they're also open about almost everything they do.
@@amsrocks That's has nothing to do with it, besides lots of small manufacturers like Zenvo, Koenigsegg etc will/might have tough beginnings. They actually repaired some of their image with TSR-S due to its famous wing, they got a lot of attention thanks to it. I don't think they will ever be near Koenigsegg, but they might get some small "piece of cake" for themselves.
Kudos to Zenvo - seems to have a great culture. All the team members in the video are genuine, welcoming and emit a sense of passion that will take the company far. Congrats Shmee! I can imagine the Zenvo team must be a pleasure to work with as you build out your TSR-S.
I love these videos sharing the behind the scenes look in the factory. It's amazing how much goes into the manufacturing of a car. So cool to see how it works in a boutique manufacturer like this! Fascinating!
It's so awesome that you're being shown how the wheel is made and even able to film it and of cause to sign it. And it could be the ultimate shmeemobile if you signed more panels ;)
@@Shmee150 absolutely when we went to maranello our phones were taken, mtc was gonna be the same thing but then covid cancel our trip to spec the elva at the factory
I can't wait for this beast Tim! I respect you for purchasing a vehicle that's not that well known and something that is different to normal cars in the supercar segment. All the best and enjoy ownership of the TSR-S.
@@Shmee150Tim your a guy who gives other vehicle manufacturers a chance and doesn't go for the "Normal" popular car brands. I like that about you, respect.
The manufacturing of the car is quite impresive, they people at Zenvo realy devote their efforts into creating a special car. Congratulations for being their client, and getting such a rare vehicle. I am looking forward to more updates from the journey to completion of your car.
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I'm glad you got your Zenvo TSR-S is coming along well and I think the 4x4 Carbon fiber wheel built Process is Absolutely Incredible and I think it so awesome that you got a chance to lay a Piece of 4x4 Carbon fiber on one of the Front Wheels and I can't wait to see the next update
Really enjoying the Road to Zenvo series so far. I know how strong carbon fibre is, but the fact that it’s not brittle when used in a wheel really amazes me. The load bearing strength I can visualise, but when you see how easily the spare edge material chips, I just expect it to shatter under torsional loads. It obviously doesn’t, but I still find it mind blowing.
It's amazing you get to meet everybody who is building you car by hand, and to be allowed to show you the details of the production on camera. It shows that the price tag for the car is not a fantasy value for a well marketed hp number, but for an incredible amount of work done by highly skilled people with the finest of materials.
The TSR-S is such an amazing and unique car, very much looking forward to seeing yours when it’s finished. The spec may not be for everyone but there’s no arguing it will be an incredible and special car by any measure.
Honestly the best part of this process is Tims little giggles i love the fact that Zenvo are so happy to let you show us such an im depth view of how this is all done. These high end car manufacturers are so awsome
what an incredible experience to be with the guys manufacturing your hypercar. Zenvo really going above and beyond there! I know you've done road to with many other cars but this is the next level
Somehow the coolest video you have ever produced, in my opinion. So many things are just perfect for me. Danish car, my favourite color, the details of the process, it's just amazing
Eagerly awaiting the finished product. I think the colors you chose are going to look amazing, Tim. I would've gone with the satin black carbon on the roof and bonnet, but the purple tinted carbon is going to be a striking feature, I think.
Thank you Tim for taking us viewers to places. Very interesting to see, definitely helps to educate us all and maybe even inspire some people to set goals to get a job in some of these manufactories and car business in the future.

Obviously a factor in choosing the Zenvo, the access to the factory and literally watching your car being created. I can see why you'll always have a special connection with it, it's also an amazing advertisement for Zenvo. Can't wait to see it finally finished but enjoy every step on the way
Awesome Video, nice to see all the detail of your car and such a rare opportunity to even play such a small part in doing the carbon wheel. Keep these coming.
Very excited for this build. Maybe a long shot, but I'd love to see the TSR-S do some Stateside appearances like when the GT toured around out here in LA for a bit. Congrats on this one, Tim!
I'm so excited to see the car! However... taking off the gt500 wheels, yet a full dedicated video to another shmeemobiles carbon wheels being made? I'm confused 😕
He's taking it off because compared to the price of the car the cost pf those wheels will be a lot. Especially if you're looking to keep it in England. It's gonna be driven much more than the Zenvo as well. Its simply not worth the risk. If he kept it in America I'm sure he'd be much more inclined to keep the carbon because the roads there are much better
The problem for the GT500 is that the carbon wheels on the car are becoming prone to failure after decent miles, and when I take it to the UK I'm going out of region and therefore no manufacturer support. For example, if a wheel suffers a total failure, and in the process takes out the brakes, and damages components, then that's all on me. The Zenvo however will not do tonnes of miles, and includes global support, so these are not issues of concern; not to mention the wheels are engineered to a much higher standard to begin with.
