Tales of the Abyss will forever be my fav in the series the characters development is beyond beautiful in this game
This ranking got me really surprised multiple times. I mean, Xillia being so low, even behind LEGENDIA ????? Graces F being above Symphonia ? The number one pick (don't want to spoil it for ppl who didn't watch it yet) ? I do think the game is good but honestly I think the franchise has better games (but that's just me). Zestiria in the top 4 after all of that controversy (in my opinion it isn't that great of a Tales game either) ? A MOBILE GAME IN THE TOP 10 ???????
tales of the abyss supremacy baby
ABYSS BOYS STAND UP😁👍
Ahhh number one spot did not disappoint, abyss had the most engaging story I'll clap to that
So, uhh, where's the remake / remaster of Tales of the Abyss BAMCO?
Cant believe that xillia 1 and arise were ranked so low. Arise had the best battle system imo.
I hope this list makes Namco consider an Abyss rerelease/remaster...
TotA being first i agree i dunno there is something about that game that still sets it apart from the rest
Absolute madness to rank Xillia so low, it makes me not want to go to Japan, because we don't have anything in common.
So glad to see that #1 pick as it was my favorite as well.
My personal top 5 in the series:
I love Zestiria and I'm happy to see it so high!
Abyss is my favorite Tales game thanks to one scene
What game are you playing in the video? That looks like fun!
Xillia is way lower than I thought it would be, and that kind of surprised me. It's my third favorite behind Abyss and the first Symphonia (which I also thought might score just a little higher). I was very touched and happy to see the love for Eternia. It's in my top 5 and feels like an underrated game sometimes. Once the list started climbing up, I thought, "Wow, it's gonna be up there, but probably just behind Phantasia since that's the first game". But it surprised me by one-upping it on this list.
Tales of Symphonia is what got me into the Tales of series and that title will always be nostalgic for me. I can't even count how many times I replayed it on the Gamecube - basically why my that darn machine got its money's worth tbh. Xillia was also one of my favorites! I've also heard that everyone loved Vesperia too which I have yet to complete on the Switch, but I can definitely see why people love it so much. ALSO, I wanted to like Zestria so darn much but the battle camera made it so unplayable for me, however Berseria was chef's kiss.
I will never understand why Japan loves Zestiria so much.
Zestiria being so high in rank really surprised me. I originally skipped it but if it's supposedly one of the best I might give it a go
Tales of the Abyss makes a lot of sense, honestly. It's one of the few games that, when it pulls the, you won the fight but lose the cutscene, something this franchise loves to Lloyd to you...I mean do to you, it usually explains itself well. The bad guys don't just go 'ha ha! that battle didn't count' that go. 'You won, but you're gonna let me go because I can kill us both, and unlike you, I don't give a damn if I die, but you do', something they pull out on four different occasions, and it always makes sense, both why you fought them, and why they don't pull it out earlier. That don't CARE if they die, but none of them WANT to die quite yet either.
