To all of you who read this as a BLUE DEVIL. My apologies for overusing the word AWESOME, but as an old (68) year old drummer from the sixties. YOU ALL MAKE ME PROUD. I am in Virginia, at the beach. GOOD LUCK this year. Your opponents will NEED IT!
This is the BD that I've been waiting for for years now! YESSSS!!! Really happy with the line and the entire corp this year, so much more professional and classy than previous years
For those of you bickering about people moving around from one place to another: Learning from as many of the greatest teachers as possible in such a short time of eligibility is a pretty brilliant way of improving oneself as an individual.
Omg Brandon, I can't believe that you are in A corps now. My name is Lauren and I am in C corps and in color guard but I really want to play snare. 2017 will be my 3rd year and I will have done trumpet and guard. You are a great inspiration.
Hope you enjoyed the 60 frames per second everybody! Please consider taking a few minutes and supporting Drum Corps Tube, as travel and equipment is very costly to keep up. You can do this by clicking the exclamation point on the top right of the video, or by clicking the GoFundMe link in the description. Other ways you can help are by liking and commenting on videos. Thanks for your support everyone!
Yea this video looks great! I also thought this was shot in 4k. What camera was used? And of course the BlueDevil drumline is amazing!! Going to see them in July.
Would you consider doing an Open Class Drumline video for the summer of 2016? I am going to play snare for Watchmen this summer, and it would be awesome if you could do a video of us! Thanks. :)
5:35 to 5:45 has got to be the funniest writing I've ever seen. I mean, its good, its just funny though. Like I had joked with a friend about just doing that sticking for a herta over and over again when playing through the intro of the Bluecoats 2012 feature.
William Hord Those are hertas? I was sitting here over and over trying to look at the sticking they sounded like hertas but the sticking looked like RLLL or LRRR not RLRL or LRLR. But if they are thanks for posted sounds super clean and classy yet dirty and nasty lol
Ok guys I know this isn't related to the video but, I have a question. Say I have a Yamaha Field-Corps 9200 snare drum and I wanted to use the pearl harnesses that they have in this video.. Would I be able to use the harness with the drum? Thank you!
T.R. we were in drum line together in 93... Ryan B. Me and you and Chicken head were buddies... I was in love with a girl named Mary Ann and I hooked you up with my friend Reanna.... We had good times at North.... We were gonna start a singing group..... Boys to men style.. . Gosh I don't know if you remember that but I do.... Sorry if that's strange... Blast from the past... I never forgot your friendship. I moved junior year.. best wishes
^^^ is pretty much right and also when they're marching stuff like pinwheels the guy on the end would travel the farthest so it's a good marching thing too
***** first is was adam, now its ryan ellis and i think one or too others, I heard over at bluecoats its a full rookie snareline exept mike davis, and the most of the ones who didnt age out went here, to the blue devils.
Nic Astin Do you know that for a fact? Arjun has posted on several of the Bluecoats 2015 video's saying he took this year off purposefully to focus on school this summer.
Jamis Coates you can go way back to 2010 with stephanie valisakis and 2011 with nicole, they both went from BC to BD. But yeah, Mike Davis is the only bluecoat vet over there this year. One dude was in Boston Crusaders though, and I'm sure there are more guys with previous DCI experience.
Cool video! Thanks for hangin' with us.
First video of the 2015 season and it has God's frame rate. Can't wait to see more.
Please subscribe to the official RUclips channel as well to stay in touch with all things BDWorld. ruclips.net/user/TheBlueDevils

Boleros deirecuerdo
One of my first Blue Devils videos and still never ever going to be over how freaking clean they sound and how uniform their visuals are.
I liked the part where they drummed
+Matthew Bunn NIIICE

I think ive replayed 5:20 50 times now, that's hilarious and sick af

Awesome vid. Way to start out the summer!
Am I the only one that really like how the snare drums like actually sound, like not clean I mean the actually tuning I suppose?
The next step is for you to get one of the 360 degree cameras and let us pick what we want to look at haha.
This is the BD that I've been waiting for for years now! YESSSS!!! Really happy with the line and the entire corp this year, so much more professional and classy than previous years
This frame rate is incredible! Major props DrumsCorpsTube :)

Keaton Carlton It's definitely better than 30.
Colton Weeks Roughly twice as good!
Keaton Carlton because most people see 30 on youtube...
For those of you bickering about people moving around from one place to another:
Learning from as many of the greatest teachers as possible in such a short time of eligibility is a pretty brilliant way of improving oneself as an individual.
Thank you gosh everyone's been so angry with that honestly who cares if people move to different corps
crazy stick tricks from long haired snare at 5:21
just jokes.
That was sick G
1080 60fps, the best thing to happen to drum corps.
Good to see Zakk on that tenor line
Holy smokes, is that little Brandon that learned the parts by watching online from a few years ago?
woldrau777 yes, this is his 2nd year with BD
AlexDB2x Thanks...good for him, damn good line to be on, and he has quite a few years to go
4:50 is such a nice grooving writing and innovative

Great post! Looking forward to seeing you tonight in #FortWayne! #BDWorld #Ink
Yooo Ryan Ellis I see you, lookin sharp BD. A lot of great hands staying together over the years I totally dig it.
Their new warm-up sounds a little familiar to their warm-up Sterling from last year. I can't wait to see how amazing they're going to be this summer.
The tuning to those basses.... they sound intimidating!
GRRRRRRREAT VIDEO QUALITY! keep it up bro!
Holy crap! I didn't know Alfie Deyes was marching BD one out from center snare this year! Must be one hell of a commute ;)
Yea this video looks great! I also thought this was shot in 4k. What camera was used? And of course the BlueDevil drumline is amazing!! Going to see them in July.

What camera is being used to film this?
Not a big BD fan but I really like this book. Can't wait to see them at DCI East!
If you count the snares from left to right the 7th drummer was from the bluecoats last year
THE FPS IS SO SMOOOOOOTH
Legit Goals Right Here

Well, they are the rhythm of hearts but with the sticking RRl l, LLr r, RRl r, or LLr l. The majority of them are RRl l though.
oh ok time to bring out the pad thanks
Man! These cats aren't joking! Love how this book sounds! Hell yeah BD
2:13 was my favorite part
Very impressive! Wow.
Yes, the talent and drumming are amazing, as per standard...however, I feel like I'm standing there...MAJOR props on video quality. What Camera?
don't recognize that center snare, where was he before?
Ok guys I know this isn't related to the video but, I have a question. Say I have a Yamaha Field-Corps 9200 snare drum and I wanted to use the pearl harnesses that they have in this video.. Would I be able to use the harness with the drum? Thank you!
Yes
MarioPlaysMC Yes, as long as you have the Pearl mount and attach it to the Yamaha drum
1:38 That quad lick, ooh-wee!
The opener! Oh my god!
Just wondering where in Fresno was this , I live in Fresno and just wanted to know

+TSFLYER4 There are actually 3 former bluecoats snares.
they want to win a trophy thats why they switched
Snare next to Brandon looks familiar who is that
tHIS WAS SICK AS FRICK
AWesome
nice one!
This is high-def as hell dude.
And whys Olander on the end this year? Wasn't he second in last year?
^^^ is pretty much right and also when they're marching stuff like pinwheels the guy on the end would travel the farthest so it's a good marching thing too
Michael Barton They also order with height as a main factor.
Whos the center snare this year?
That was the year I graduated from that school.
How many bluecoats are gonna go to bd?
no i mean like every season. there are always people go from coats to devils. its seems like a lot recently
***** first is was adam, now its ryan ellis and i think one or too others, I heard over at bluecoats its a full rookie snareline exept mike davis, and the most of the ones who didnt age out went here, to the blue devils.
And the center tenor, his name escapes me. And Arjun tried out for BD and didn't make it.
Nic Astin Do you know that for a fact? Arjun has posted on several of the Bluecoats 2015 video's saying he took this year off purposefully to focus on school this summer.
