I saw there is no MAC driver for it. Only windows is supported officially. But Linux can also support this. So you need to setup a virtual machine of windows or Linux in your mac os host. Then from that virtual OS you have to operate your printer.

your printer may be disabled in settings. go to printer setting and check the box of ENABLE. let me know your problem is solved or not

Yes wireless printing is also easy. Just connect the laptop and printer to same wifi network

@TechWorldDeb My printer's drivers are installed on Ubuntu as .deb files which are Linux compatible. When I install with CUPS app it can't find the drivers. When I install manually through settings, it allocates a generic dot matrix driver to my L3116, jetink printer.
@@johanolwage213 sometimes specific driver doesn't work. In that case use generic driver. As in the video first you have to install printer-driver-gutenprint package then setup your printer.
@TechWorldDeb Yes, I have installed gutenprint. I have also tried CUPS and have loaded printer through terminal. Still does not work. I cannot print with dot matrix generic and I have manually used other generic drivers. No success. Everything I have tried, failed. After 24 hours of effort, I am now de-installing Ubuntu and going back to windows 10.
On my Linux Mint 20.1 Ulyssa PC, I installed HPLIP and the HPLIP GUI via application management, connected an HP Deskjet, waited 15 seconds, printed a test page, immediately scanned it with scanner software. Done, running. Never again Microzhoft Whindahz!
