@@StoreDJ_online Exactly. We're finding many baffled with it. But for us, it's what we're waiting for. We've recently released a few albums that sound like we already have a Labyrinth, so, can only image what will happen with the real thing? We'll find out this week.
@@StoreDJ_online I see the Labyrinth is sold out at the all the smaller retailers, even Perfect Circuit is out. People have also said they're selling their Spectrovox to get one. You are going to be popular as people are waiting. They'll find every video they can. :)
@@StoreDJ_online Ours arrived. It's gonna be great for avant garde, no rules music. But it's not for everyone. ruclips.net/video/UZTW_g_IULA/видео.html But those who hear that sound they're looking for, or have been looking for. Will want one as quick as they can get it.
absolutely, the Labyrinth sequencers only advance to the next step in the sequence when they receive a pulse at the clock input. So rather than using a boring old steady 16th note clock signal like x-x-x-x-x-x-x, I used a trigger sequence like x--xx-xxx-x-xxx-- . Using multiple sequencers to create a more interesting sequence is a really fun technique and a big advantage of CV over MIDI. In this demo I was using the CV outputs of the Push 3 and the Ableton CV tools to generate the two trigger sequences that I was using as clocks, but you could use any CV sequencer - or not even a sequencer, put a VCO output to a clock input and see what happens! Hope that helps 🙂 -Mike
Cool demo! Is there a way to process each sequence individually with effects for instance? Like one voice with delay and another with phaser (externally)? I see only one out on the back. Would be cool if this is possible.
Hey there, Labyrinth just has the one filter, wavefolder and VCA that both oscillators go through, so it doesn't allow for that when it's used alone. However, if you teamed the Labyrinth with some extra eurorack modules (or another semi-modular synth) you could pull the second VCO out of Labyrinth via the raw VCO output in the patchbay (labelled M VCO) and process that VCO individually however you like :)
hallo im new on moog ,how i can connect to my digitakt 2 ,what cable i need, output is only audio ? how i connect the midi clock from digitakt to moog thx
I'd have Digitakt 2 sending midi clock to the Moog. It should come with a midi converter cable - Trs to Midi. And you'd need a mono audio cable 1/4 inch
This is great content. BUT. In a demo clip, especially with esoteric devices such as these, I prefer no outside fx and etc. such as Ableton be used as it is in this work. Just my preference.
Thanks! That's fair, we usually try to strike a balance between dry sounds and sounds with fx/beats for context, but the balance is a bit off in this clip
@@StoreDJ_online I actually appreciated how clear you were stating when fx and drums where added/taken-away. And when trigs where coming from other gear.
i watched tons of videos on both of these moogs. this one is my favorite for both moogs and in 1 video. wow. thank *YOU* Store DJ. 🙏
Our pleasure! They're fantastic machines!
Best demo of the Spectravox I have seen so far.
agree
Thanks for taking it further than most. That's what we're looking forward to, jumping off the edge.
Thanks! If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room amiright? 😈

Really excellent presentation, music, and video editing. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent video, thanks
Love the video. Quality man
Great demos! Especially love the range of applications you were getting from the Spectravox.
Great demos
That Spectravox overview has a bit of Cars intro to "Moving In Stereo" feel to it. A happy accident.
Fantastic work!
thanks! 🙏
Sounds like high end Volca Modular .. Sold my Volca Modular .
Really great demo! Can you explain the irregular clock being used from Ableton? How’d you create that stuttering clock?
