We have had several 10 year US visas and changing passports has never been a problem. We just produce the expired passport containing the visa and the new passport together.

This is a solid video - and the details around our Aussie passport are well presented …excellent - nice work @thecrew. Definitely worth knowing one’s passport(s). I’m a triple citizen - Australian, American, South African and (Overseas) Indian, so I almost never need a visa, but there are electronic travel authorizations (ETA/ESTA) needed for some countries - for instance, Australians need an online ETA/ESTA for entry to Canada or the US - although no visa per se is required. I’m an exception, though. Everyone needs an e-visa or regular visa to visit India, China or Nepal. I can travel to India without a visa, of course. The passport expiring while you have a valid visa is a real thing - very good point. Americans automatically get a 6-month business visa for the UK, but Aussies get only 6-month tourist visas when they turn up in the UK. Either way, your passport expiring while you’re hiking across Cornwall in the UK is an easy possibility - so do keep an eye on it. However, the Australian passport overall has more visa-free or visa-on-arrival destinations than the US or Canadian passports 😄 so it’s worth knowing your destinations’ visa details if you’re a travel bug. The Henley Passport Index is one of the most reputed references, too.

great Info, some of those things like pages, had no idea about. I had a water damaged passport from storm travel in Philippines, still worked but fortunately. Remember getting a visa in Vietnam, I really thought by now Australia and vietnam would have a better understanding by now

Funny that an Australian passport doesn’t guarantee a citizen to freely to return to Australia. I now have a second passport and do most of my traveling on that,, much safer for travelers.

8:07: Actually, any travel to Saudi Arabia is not permitted for Israeli citizens, but people who have evidence of travel to Israel will still be let into Saudi Arabia.
