Please don't listen to the rude comments, this video is fantastic and I for one appreciate you for taking the time out of your busy day to give us easier and less expensive ways to do things, thank you so much! I was going to buy some faux fur pom poms from Amazon but thanks to your video I'm going to save money by making them myself! Thank you again and God bless!

Thank you for this tutorial. Faux fur Pom Pom is costly and so it was so nice to have you show us how to make our own for way less. Much appreciated. Many blessings.

Fab video, explained well.. One tip from myself as a teddy bear maker who has used hundreds of metres of faux fur of varying lengths is to not cut all the way thru the fur, use embroidery scissors and just snip the backing of the fur, it saves mess and you get a better finish on the fur you've just cut...
If you can get yacht twine where you are use that too as its mega strong 😊👍🏻

Great video! The faux fur pom pom looks so much better than a pom pom made of yarn.

Crystal, thank U so much 4 your videos i have learned so much from U.
especially when it comes to buying yarn. I am 80 yrs old and have been playing with yarn for over 65 years, but never knew some of the things U refer 2 so once again thank you God Bless you, and Merry Christmas.

I can't believe I randomly.came across your video while browsing crocheting videos tonight. My daughter was getting ready to start an easy breezy hat pattern but wanted these Poms to go on top, and didn't think they would be easy.to find, nor would they be cheap. We were just discussing it TODAY!!! THANK YOU for posting this super DIY!! We can't wait to try!

Thank you for this video. I was going to buy them and then found tutorials on youtube. To cut down on costs further, I have double washed old pillows opened them up and have all the fiberfill to use for whatever needs stuffing.

Please, please, please always use new material. You can never clean it enough for sale to the public. There is a reason all your stuffed products have a label on them.

You have a pleasant voice and are easy to understand. Thanks! I want to pass on something about knot ties. At the end when you tie the first half of the knot if you put the thread over under over under then pull it will lock in place. Then the second half of the knot can be tied like normal and you don't need to use your finger and it will be as tight as possible. You make me want to go to the fabric store RIGHT NOW to buy some fake fur. Thanks. ~Marie

Pull the strings through the top of the hat, and through a large button that you've place inside the hat. Tie the strings tightly into a bow. The pom pom will stay in place until you're ready to remove it. Wash your hat and replace the pom pom.

You cheater. I thought this was a tutorial on how to MAKE the pompoms. You bought the fur from the store. Shit, I can make a whole bunch of it if given the tools. Also not every store sells faux fur. This is why I even clicked on this video.

I didn't say it was a tutorial on how to make faux fur fabric, I said it was a tutorial on how to make faux fur pom poms, and that is exactly what it is. I'm sorry you misunderstood. It's great that you feel you could have figured it out on your own, but if you take even a quick glance through the comments, you will see that not everyone can or even thought to try as opposed to purchasing them already made for much more money.
