ಸಿರಿಧಾನ್ಯದ ಖಿಚಡಿ/Little millet khichdi/weight loss recipe for diabetics & pcos/healthy millet recipe

Ingredients required:
Little millet 1 cup(ಸಾಮೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿ)
Moong dal 1 cup
2 tablespoons of oil or ghee,
1 tablespoon of mustard,
1 tablespoon of cumin,
1/2 a tsp of turmeric, salt,1 tablespoon of ground pepper, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 tablespoon of each ginger and green chilli minced,1/2 a cup of onion, chopped vegetables include carrots, capsicum etc,butter milk 1 cup,water 4 cups.
Method: Put a wide cooker on the stove and put some oil or ghee on it, once oil is hot enough add in mustard,cumin, Curry Leaves and add the onion, chilli, ginger and pepper.Then add the chopped vegetables one by one, add some turmeric, and saute for a while.now add washed moong dal and millet, mix thoroughly. Add teaspoon cumin powder and salt, 1 cup buttermilk,4 cups of water, add some coriander leaves and cover the lid and cook for 2 whistlers.When the cooker pressure is released, add some more water to bring it tobthe consistency shown in video and serve it on a plate, top with ghee and enjoy with papad and pickle.
