Hey Toyota, I don't see any option to disable passive entry for the digital key. My new GH can be accessed with my phone still locked which is very unsecure if I lose my phone someone can steal my car without unlocking the phone itself. I'm I missing something?

There’s a Bluetooth issue pairing the phone as the digital key to the car. Followed everything correctly but it keeps saying either the phone needs to be charged or needs the Bluetooth to be on. Both are on and the phone charged but it won’t pair. How do I resolve this?

Dude, didn't you hear about chip shortages? I'm sure the dealer told you about the 1 key fob! If you weren't happy, you shouldn't have driven it off the lot! The world doesn't revolve around you!!! 🙄🙄 The app works with 2 limitations. 1) You need stable service since this uses Bluetooth! 2) You need to allow your phone to have the Toyota app running in the background! If you have an iPhone, you're outta luck, iPhones can't run background apps for long! That's an Apple problem, though, NOT Toyota!

Every other manufacturer uses a digital wallet with UWB & NFC for their digital key. Bluetooth is unreliable.

They aren't forcing you to use it! You do realize that certain equipment and sensors are needed for it to work, hence the $250 fee!
