I don’t understand why Toyota charges for these services that i would consider simple services that help Toyota just as much as a customer. I’ve chosen to not pay since i dont think Toyota is approaching this appropriately
Recent trip history can’t tell me what my MPG was for the trip but it can tell me if I braked hard, accelerated hard, or took corners too hard? Seems like an odd set of data. The Toyota App will not allow me to add my 2024 Crown. I basically want the app for warranty and recall services. I Do not want any paid subscriptions services. Any idea how to add a vehicle to the app? Seems so straight forward in the video, but, the first hand experience is far from easy to add the vehicles. How do you register when saying can't register a fleet or commercial vehicle I know it used to be a rental car at the enterprise rental until bought by the VW dealership

lol exactly instead of giving a straight answer they tell you to call someone. Meaning you can have it when you pay for the subscription. I call bs because other premium vehicles let you do this for free subscription based things are getting out of control.

Kind of useless app, the subscriptions too. Signed up for the $15 because one so I could unlock my car if I forget my keys inside and lock it. All it does is tell me the status of it. What good is it telling me is locked if I know I press the lock button. The maintenance is a sales pitch owners manual tells you do oil change every 5000 miles. Dealership says every 10,000. Owners manual says change transmission fluid every 30.,000 miles. Dealership say Toyotas have a sealed transmission that doesn’t require fluid changes. Sealed just means it doesn’t have a dip stick. Dealership wants your car to breakdown faster so you buy a new one faster? As long as your car makes it past tithe warranty they don’t care.

We can't even log onto the Toyota App at the point you choose your Vehicle! I got as far as scanning the QR code and my iPhone wouldn't scan it. There's no 8-digit code to enter manually so we're stuck. Hopefully our dealership will help us.

Everyday the app removes my vehicle and I have to reconnect it / register it. It’s winter now and it already has failed to command start once. Annoying since it’s cold out

Where is the tire pressure monitor? That was definitely a downgrade...
It is on the status tab at the very top. A picture lists the pressure in each tire. Below that it tells you if the pressure is good or not.
