The Hardeman Boys - "You Can Be A Star" (first appearance)

The first of three appearances by the Hardeman Boys on TNN's talent competition, "You Can Be A Star." This episode was recorded in Nashville on April 24, 1984, and aired that June. The group had just performed the night before as the opening act for Ronnie Milsap. Featured in this episode were Marianne Machado, B.B Secrist, and the Hardeman Boys who sang the Statler Brothers' "Elizabeth." Steve Hammond, Kevin Owen, Kyle Wadley, and Todd Tunnell were on vocals. In the band were (left to right), Greg Boren (acoustic guitar), Charlie Lauderdale (drums), Gregg Fulkerson (electric guitar), Mark Crawford (bass guitar), and Julie Smith (piano).
