- Wow... what an experience. I can't believe I finally got this. I was able to do it with my 10.2 Legiana w/o upgrading it further, and without getting lucky RNG from an ice smelt. Full gear is shown at the end of the video, and my build is also right here: imgur.com/xrzVKlZ
So 10 star is pretty much impossible with s&s ?
If it's already this close a 10.5 won't help a lot.
To my knowledge it is not possible, that is correct. This link is for the Japanese speed running site, and you can see which weapons have an official kill on which monsters. SnS lags behind the top tier weapons. However, SnS is not alone in that regard, according to that website, only LS and Bow have been able to kill 10 star Zinogre.
(One last thing though is that my set is suboptimal and I think you can kill Zinogre with 30 seconds left on the clock with perfect play/perfect smelts.)

@@lhuce7586 Wow okay I'm a casual player all my weapons are still on G8.3
And I only use S&S but I don't really want or need to hunt 10 star but also doesn't give me hope on beating 8 star with a low g S&S
@@lhuce7586Hi, thanks for much for your information about the SnS. Myself do have the intention to upgrade all my SnS to maxed and see how far I can go. Because I see none of video showing SnS killing any 10 stars monsters.
