Good to see you back and hear you had a good month! I can't BELIEVE they're still shipping Tahoes with those unvented steelies that caused so much trouble during the post-covid supply chain problems, it seems to be a no-brainer to me to ship them on Silverado W/T steelies that are fully functional and the customer can keep as snow-tire rims.
Good for your customer for going with the slightly older Colorado, I have a buddy who's Colorado broke down at under 1000 miles and he's been waiting 2 months for parts.
No one in my family has bought a new vehicle since September 1971. My mom bought a 1972 Gran Torino sight unseen. The following year I started in automotive repair, and at that point the purchase of any new vehicle became an unnecessary expense for over half a century since I can completely rebuild any vehicle from the wheels up, and after the mid 1990s became far more complex than there is any need for. Prices for new scrap cars and trucks have become obscene. The one and only use I have for dealerships is parts, and thats becoming more rare as many parts are discontinued/obsolete. I only buy dealership parts when they cannot be sourced aftermarket or a customer insists on them, in which case I charge the hell out of them.
Congratulations on the purchase of the new Corvette, which trim level did you get good luck with it and you’re getting a new Silverado truck soon too way to go keep the great work. I’m glad to finally see another video from you. I was wondering what happened. See working hard pays off.
Dave,, thank you for all your videos. Your passion for Chevy products and product knowledge of Chevy products show. I enjoy your sales style. Thank you for replying to my emails. Because of you I ended up buying my 1st Chevy. It’s a 2023 Chevy Equinox in Blue Glow Metallic with just under 30,000 miles last month. I’m enjoying it a lot. Keep up the great job. I look forward to your videos.
It's interesting that they took the (gas) Equinox in a more trucklike direction opposite the Trax which looks mid-morph back into a station wagon. Doesn't leave much room for the Acadia, though.
Being busy is great, usually July is a slow month in the car dealer biz. You work for a dealership group with a good reputation, Chevy is offering some models in the $22-35K range although that EV Silverado is a bit steep at $96K ! so it is no wonder that you have been busy.
Great job on the 25 car month! I was at your store for a swap the other day (1st one i've gone on in 7 years) and would have said hi but you were sitting with a customer.
I went July 24th and 25th. It was great! Did you get a plaque with your photo yet? I heard we should be getting one however I have not received as of yet
Hey I just finished my first month doing car sales, recently have door to door experience, the dealership I work at feels like a ghost town, idk if it’s the month or location but it really is dreadful, do you think I should stick it in a couple months or apply elsewhere?
Hey Dave I live in nj and a few of my neighbors just got the equinox ev for a lease for 36 months for a 1 time payment of 6k does your dealership have that deal or no??
Was the dealer affected by the CDK attack? I live in the Hudson Valley New York and I'm seeing a lot of new Traverse, I think even more than I see the Trax.
Good to see business is picking up and inventory is improving! Congrats on the corvette!! Finally you got one again!! lol Do you fit in it fine? I’m about the same height as you so just wondering. When I had my 2021 Camaro it was a bit tight
@Dave B sells Chevy: Why does the Colorado not sell that much in your area? Do folks just gravitate to the half ton? The Colorado seems like a solid rig, no?
@@michaelsolivan7003 It's for me.. I'll make content with it. Maybe just showing normal ownership vs the usual RUclipsr projects with turbos etc. No plans for that
I know it’s probably a no. But could you break down how much you make as commissions on 25 sales a month. I heard a rumour from a Subaru dealership they get $500 per car regardless of the price of the vehicle. Not sure if Chevy does the same. Love your videos. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦.
As long as it's because you're busy selling cars-congrats-and not because you're stepping away from the channel, it's all good 👍🏼 2:20 As for Chevy EVs getting attention, as _that guy_ continues to bad mouth his customers (cough Democrats cough), his sales are going to start to tank as EV customers take their money elsewhere.
Dave seems like a nice enough guy but be forewarned that he/his dealership seem to be allergic to dealer discount. I reached out about a Blazer EV and I was given an atrocious quote that was essentially sticker price minus rebates. Ended up doing way better ($5,000 off sticker minus incentives) at a motivated dealership that was also in New Jersey. Deals are out there to be had but I'm not so sure that you'll find them here.
@@DaveBsellsChevy It ended up being a Central Jersey dealership actually and they discounted the car $5,000 dollars before the incentives. $3,700 One Pay for 24 months, 10k. It wasn't a one off either, did virtually the exact same deal for a friend too. We have brokers and dealers on LeaseHackr that have been blowing these out for months at thousands off MSRP.

For a 100k you can keep the truck ridiculous
