Very informative and useful video, especially for sport bikes, I'd love to see more specific tips for typical sport bike leaning with a passanger though, I've taken some passengers with my rc 390, some allow me to move my butt and knee and they even kinda lean with it and some are just stressing me out a lot. I only know to tell them how I need to move and how they might, but I wish I had like one or two sentences to bring my point across in the best way. Also the holding on to the tank thing sounds super useful.
Nice, I was looking for a video where they show how to ride with a heavier passenger. I guess it possible! I always had smaller passengers than me but I want to take my bf for a ride but I am 53kg 5,6 and he is 85kg 6,3 so a big difference there!
some other videos explain one hand holding the stomach of rider for acceleration. As when you accelerate the tank might not have much grip to hold. One hand on tank for braking.
I like to have my kickstand up and both my feet planted when passenger is getting on and off. Leaning the bike off the kickstand and and kicking it up with a passenger isn’t as easy. I have them get on stepping with left foot on peg first and swinging right leg Over second. Bikes have a lot of torque I have her keep one arm around me and one hand on tank
*hold on to the tank* does not work for cruisers. Not all cruisers have passenger supports like back rest. Passenger on a cruiser can brace on the pegs both during acceleration and braking. I tell new passengers, your hips follow the bike, your upper body follows mine, and do not help me balance.
Easy do not do it. I know after 40 yrs of riding how dangerous it is, i will risk my life but never anothers. I would not be able to live with myself if someone got hurt or died riding on back of my bike. Not to mention i ride to be alone and think and ride fast in twisty areas, 2 up ruins all that, want to ride with me hop in the car.
@@Sunshinedaze350 Before my first ride as a pillion, he warned me that it could get very windy. I had no idea of the wind force. Windswept, with a whipping leather jacket and with a jet helmet and goggles, it was "breathtaking". Cling to him and fight against the hurricane with all my strength. I just thought it was so horny! Today, with him on the Panigale......
That seems like a horrible bike to ride 2 up on. The passenger sits up so high. It seems like the passenger's weight, sitting up high like that, would really effect the lean in the corners. I don't like to ride with a passenger. I'm okay taking the risk for myself, but I don't want to be responsible for someone else on my bike.
The only proper way to travel with a passenger is to get them a bike. Now you don't have a passenger, but a friend who rides with you!
give monei
Good thinking 🙌🏼

Good tips 👍
@Marchautowerks good tip but if you are a short ass it’s a problem being 5’6 can’t plant both feet only tip toes😂😂😂
That Ducati is a racer not a taxi!
nice video, I've been riding for 7 years and I never too a passenger (only my son on a dirt bike track)
Thank you 🙏 Hopefully this information helped a little
😂😂😂😂😂 that ending tho!

Agree that mostly works for sport bikes.
Does motorcycle have to fully stop at the stop sign?

ADJUST YOUR SUSPENSION!
Yes we mentioned that at the end :)
take off your helmet while explaining so audience can understand and hear you better. always remind your audience to wear helmet.
Noted, will do thank you for your feedback
step one, get a bike suitable for pasengers, not a track day weapon Ducati lol!
That’s funny!!! I was on the back of a Ducati last night 😂

Well i have scooter and on him pillion seat are 15 cm taller than driver seat and i ride with passenger pretty comfortable.
The weight distribution in this demo makes no sense. She should be passenger. She is smaller. Can't fight physics.
I can be, but it’s okay to have heavier passengers if you are comfortable and capable. Almost every other person is a bit bigger than me anyway 😅
Riding with a passenger is very simple and it's like riding in a group - You NEVER!! do it, NEVER!!!
