Are you connecting your downstream injector to this container that you have mixed and when you spray the water out of your pressure washer it dilutes it down to the 4%.
Let's say I plan to test my new pressure washer and surface cleaner on the folks 2 car driveway, I don't even know how to safely get the bleach outta the 5 gallon container I ordered and this vid calls for more than 5 gallons? This feels like I stepped into the smart people class 😂

Thanks for the video, I’m using essential pool chlorine from Walmart which is 10%. How can I get the right percent to clean the roof of my house which is a 1,500 square feet house. My roof is not that dirty but it has some black spot that I want to clean.
Complete beginner here: how do you determine how much to mix for the job though? Couldn't you mix a batch and run out before the job is complete or conversely end up with a lot of unused product cause you made more than you needed?
Good question. You determine how much to mix by what you are trying to clean. And you’ll learn about that as you get into the business and How much bleach you’re going to need for the Job. If you mix a batch and run out you can easily make another batch while you’re at the job. If you’re left with unused mix, you can use it at the next job. And if you need to dilute the batch, you can simply do that by adding water.

I am writing from Canada, seems 12.5% might be harder to find than in the US. 10.3% is available but this formula still seems to work, it just needs more bleach as the factor is higher. So for your first example instead of 9.5gallons I would need 11.5gallons to achieve the same 4% mix. For your online course. Why is it monthly? Can one learn it all in a month then unsubscribe? Or you only release certain modules on a monthly basis. Thanks!

Austin I need your help. Everytime I downstream a house, its super hard to not get even just a little bit of chemical mist into my eyes. Bases are the absolute worst for your eyes. Additionally, breathing in the downstream spray, or even just the bleach fumes, I notice I lose some sense of smell for the rest of the day. I dont understand how you guys can be spraying without safety glasses or a respirator, every day, for years, without having these problems? Do you not get the same eyes, nose and lungs concerns when softwashing or downstreaming?

The thing is I do wear safety glasses but even then I still get fine mist in my eyes and when there's bleach in them mist it immediately makes my eyes sting. Then I notice for the rest of that day my vision being impaired. Then I see guys on RUclips doing exactly what I was doing wearing nothing but sunglasses. I don't understand how you guys aren't having the same problems or if you're just pushing through them. Also you haven't noticed just smelling the bleach having an impact on you?

The math is simple enough but how do you decide how much in total you will need so you don't end up running out or mixing more than you need? If you have 20 gallons of 3% left over and the next job requires say 1% do you just dilute the remainder to 1%? I just want to make sure I'm doing this right so sorry if this is a dumb question. Noob here.
How would this be with downstreaming since it will only pull a low percentage of sh anyhow compared to what your talking about for a cleaning method without a manifold. Confused on how that exactly works lol.
Down streaming and batch mixing are different. Batch mixing refers to using a soft wash pump. To achieve higher percentages then a downstream reamer can give you.

Do you know how much bleach has gone into the tank by paying attention to how much is coming out of the bleach tank. Usually it’s numbered on the side of the barrel

I always wear glasses. Definitely want to protect yourself. I don’t have issue with smell or breathing

@@brandenpatterson9936 downstreaming is soft washing too, your just using a pressure washer to accomplish it. Much success!
Now, say you had a 30 gal. tank, with it being half full of 3% from the previous job, but now needed to top it up to full at 7.5%?
15gal ÷ 12.5% = 1.2
1.2 × 4.5 = 5.4gal
Ad 5.4gal of SH to the tank and 9.6gal of H20 you'll have a 7.5% mix
What if we are using our pressure washer to apply bleach?
If you are downstreaming from your pressure washer, you need to pull from straight 12.5%

And if its not numbered, what is your suggestion. Any sort of metering devices that you know of to connect to your siphoning line?
Also, do you only add surfactant to batch tank to knock down bleach smell? On another note, best concrete brightener on the market?

No put it in straight and it will come out at 1.5% mix
