I just received my Shark Carpet Xpert upright and this video was very helpful. Thank you. After reading the instructions, it’s my understanding that the Oxy Multiplier Solution (in the small bottle) is only used when you use the hose, which is typically used for spot cleaning and stain removal.

I just turned on the TV and there was an infomercial for the shark Xpert that came with everything you just showed. But if you did it right then you would get everything for 5 payments of $39.95 or something like that so it peaked my curiosity. I have two Bissell‘s right now and they both really suck or lack there of I might say!!!Its all I’ve always bought and they never do a good job and just seeing your video when you had to keep going over the chocolate and the jelly and it did not do like they showed on TV like One swipe and it was gone with them. TV can really really hide some stuff. I appreciate your video very much still considering it because it looks better than the Bissell job. Thanks for the video.

Great video, but i don't like this machine. 1. I dont like the fact that they only give you 10 days from the date of purchase to register your warranty. 2. After about 3 months of use, the vacuum stopped dispersing water, and so did the hose. Im able to suck up water with the hose, but that's it. The vacuum doesn't do anything at all. I was very disappointed because i absolutely loved Shark vacuums and just knew the shampoo machine would be of great quality, but nope. Also, 3. I hate that you have such a small water compartment, making you stop often to empty it and 4. It doesn't suck up the water all that much. In my opinion, its not worth it. Im investing in a Bissell or something. I have 3 dogs, so i must keep my carpet clean. Im so disappointed in Shark for this one. Hope this helps people.

I love the machine! The large water tank that holds the cleaner has two little black plugs. One of them came out (I don’t think it was supposed to) and I can’t get it back in. Also, I filled the tank and left it sitting for about an hour and when I went to use it, I noticed 3/4 of the water with the solution had leaked out. What did I do wrong?
Loved your video - just shampooed two carpets, ZERO MULTIPLAYER mixes with regular deep clean fluid. Was confused, felt a little mislead (not by you), and disappointed. I mean you'd think you'd want that mixed in for convenience if you have larger areas with pet stains. I plan to experiment mixing in regular solution - not advising anyone else. Just my plan. So far I Think I like it, but a lot of water did go in that didn't come back to me, but my rugs are shag, and at least it IS cleaning! Just more drying required. Do love shark.
Yes I just bought this at Costco for $200. So much better than my previous carpet cleaner. Easy to empty the tank and clean components to eliminate the build up of crud and bacteria. It did a nice job of cleaning and left carpet much dryer than my previous one. So far, I love it.
But I wish if there was more sharks thin striker with it or there was someway that we can buy it. I will be good but again I just bought it and I was looking at this video to know how to use my vacuum. Good review! I just got mine yesterday. I was under the impression that the oxy mulitplier doesn't get used unless you are using the hand held for spot cleaning. I didn't read anywhere they mixed for the main tank upright cleaning. I could be wrong though.
How would this machine compare to the Bissell Proheat x2 revolution pet pro? I just picked this machine up at Costco, but I just found out that Costco can get me the Bissell for about $50 less than the Shark.
Was so excited to get mine and after first use it got a lever error and the brushroll stays on not matter what you do even turning unit off completely. I have to unplug it to get the brushroll to stop spinning now. And the brushroll goes nonstop while your using the wand as well. Customer service has no idea what the problem is.
When you put it in “Quick Dry Mode,” does any solution come out at all? Because the sticker light diagram says “Dry Only” where the labeling below the light says “Quick Dry Mode” so I don’t know if that means it’s putting less down than deep clean or none at all.
Quick dry mode is only suction. Great to help the carpet dry quicker by extracting as much liquid as possible. I just purchased this machine and am impressed how well it cleans and how fast the carpet dries using quick dry mode.
@@davidpisciotta1552 Glad to know this machine does have a true suction only mode to extract as much liquid as possible. I am very close to purchasing one but I'll probably get the one without the StainStriker as it's $100 less and performs nearly as good as the one with the StainStriker.
YES like I was so surprised on the tank sizes and as I was trying it out on my MIL carpets it shot the nasty water out the vents. Just a overflow safety feature I'm assuming there. We found it more hilarious than anything
First time using, all mine did is spread water going forward, when pulling back, Nothing....I have wet carpet....no suction, half the water tank is gone, the suction tank has hardly any, any waste water in it...??????????? What's wrong...???

I have the Ninja Coffee Bar System (aka Ninja Coffee Bar 2.0) that came out in 2016 and I ordered it direct from Shark Ninja when it first came out and the coffee maker has been working great ever since. I have owned it for almost 7 years now. And I also have the Shark Apex UpLight vacuum that I ordered direct from Shark Ninja as well. @@LyndaHealand obviously you've never tried the Big Green. I have tried the Shark, but own the Big Green. The Big Green is still a beast and is still more powerful.
Just got mine and extremely disappointed with it. The suction power is very weak and leaves my carpet very damp even after using the Quick Dry feature. Also, not impressed with the cleaning, just doesnt seem to have the power to do the job. I will be returning.

Shark is more reliable as a product than Bissell based on my experience.

The best carpet cleaners still are the Rug Doctor and the Bissell Big Green machine those are great at deep cleaning carpets.
