These are usually pretty cringy but this was honestly pretty solid. The impressions were pretty on par

Like I get he always starts off with “Hey all, Scott here” but I always felt Scott deserved the final line in a rap battle cause his videos usually end with a killer dry sarcastic line and you brought it here!

@@MoreLikeEman AVGN worked with mike matei whose a former cinemassacre member, the context of the line is referring a rumor about mike having a huge penis which resulted in mike posting his dick pics next to a ruler which confirmed it was 10 inches. this is also a play on how mike was very aggressive and a very unlikeable person

I absolutely loved this battle. AVGN's speed round with the super scope is my favorite section individually from aesthetic standpoint. I absolutely love how soon his fake out over Jontron was though. It gave him time to gel and take over. Alot of ERB jumpins have that problem for me, not really feeling like part of the battle to not increase the length. Absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next one.

Especially as someone who has been a fan of both, the references here are on point and I don't think any other version of Nerd vs Scott could top this
But As someone who used to be a massive Jontron fan I was kinda disappointed he didn't get to do more especially because what was there is pretty solid both body acting and lyric wise
Was also sad to see the PBG & Spacehamster parts were completely scrapped, they had some of the best lines imo although I understand why they wouldn't fit in the battle considering the direction the battle went in..hope to see them again sometime especially because the casting was on point

scott definitely won this battle, while AVGN had some good roasts, the way that scott just brushed it off like it was nothing and just kept going was why i think he won. also scott was just so perfectly in character

OMG THIS WAS AMAZING, i was a huge fan of AVGN when it was at its prime, i genuinely didn't expect for him to step into the battle, though i think that's way funnier than if it was jontron. The references were insane, you referenced pretty much all of the antagonists in the series, board james and some other spin off i don't remember, and the last verse was parodying both the AVGN song and the R.O.B episode. Oh and, i also didn't expect of having to hear about the mike matei 10 inch shmeat thing today. This genuinely made my day, your battles are great

This was a super well done rap battle. I haven't seen enough JonTron to compare how your portrayal of him was to the real thing, but you did capture his appearance. Scott and AVGN, however, were done perfectly, from the good body actors in both appearance and ability, the voices sounding like how they'd sound if they were dropping bars, and very well thought out lyrics that reference loads of memes, character tics, and their general styles of humor. Normally I don't like rap battles using curse words as filler, as the syllables can be used for other words, but when it comes to these two, it enhances everything from fitting their videos, with AVGN constantly dropping curses, and Scott dropping them occasionally, but censored like how he does his videos. I also appreciate AVGN wearing the NES accessories at the end of his third verse and Scott's friends making cameos throughout his parts. The part that stuck out to me the most was the nod to Irate, which I assume is a reference to the AVGN vs. Irate Gamer rap battle ERBParodies did way back when that... doesn't hold up all that much, especially when comparing their portrayal of AVGN to yours. All in all, this was a very well done battle, and the best one on your channel yet.
Scott's had the best bars, but Nerd's had the best actor, those mannerisms and speech inflections were on point.

I've listened to this on loop at least 1,000 times, I actually love it and it's one of my favorite rap battles almost as good as ERB.
AVGN has some strong feelings in the rap battle which I liked, and actually made me wanna watch him cause the rage is pretty epik. And as being part of youtube subscriber count community I am glad ppl still know about AVGN being smaller than nigahiga, smosh, and RWJ.
