John, Great to see the building. The plans for your future training and the new videos are just what is needed by the many people who follow your video training. The best to you moving forward.
Glad you made it to this point. Construction isn't for the faint of heart. The space will be a great investment once you start filling the equipment in and deciding the layout. Spaces evolve over time, but I like the smaller temperature-controlled sewing room. I think you'll want that in the height of summer to avoid the humidity and the cold of winter. You can put up the bay doors since they go in one panel at a time. Figure a few hours for each door, and the second will be easier once you do the first. Keep up the good work. It will be worth it in the end, and you'll definitely appreciate doing it all with cash vs. financing.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I appreciate the tips! I will keep you all updated on the doors.
Good to see you’re back. Construction is tough everywhere. I’ve been working on my new shop for two years. I’m close to the finish line. Keep pushing. You will get there.
Thank you! Congrats on your shop!
Welcome to the South. I went thru this same learning curve here in Alabama. Enjoy your building and the bright future it allows you to enjoy. Those who did you wrong will face Karma.
Thanks so much!
By the way. Super happy to see that you got your shop up. It might not be finished but it's close enough to allow you to take things into your own hands. This is definitely exciting and I look forward to seeing things progress. Personally I believe the videos and the in person classes will be highly successful. Especially if you work with local suppliers on advertising those classes. It's a skill set that many people wish they knew how to do but it's not easy to find people who will train you in person.
Thanks for letting us know! We are definitely taking all this into consideration
I would think doing customer work will give you some content for your courses, nice to see a building standing up
Thanks!
Good to see your back.
When people know your from California they think you are a movie star or a millionaire.
There are two different forms of mentality.
Fight the good fight the good fight and remember adversity will only make you stronger and elevate you over the evil.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Good to see you back!
Thanks!
Good to see you Bud
Thanks!
Looks fantastic 👍, good to see you back on RUclips 👍
Thanks 👍
Hi John, nice to see you back, I hope 2024 is better for you and 🍀 Lucky Needle. Over the past two years people have taken advantage of your kind nature. The build looks fab!!
Thanks so much! We are excited for 2024 and hope the year is great for you too!
Glad to see your shop built. Sorry you’ve had so much trouble. I couldn’t find a contractor to build my shop a year ago other than for the concrete and shingles, so I ended up building it myself with the help of a friend. I learned a tremendous amount from your training course looking forward to more when you get your shop going.
Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing, I learned a lot watching this video. Good contractors are hard to find.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
I totally understand your frustration with this process!!! Getting my concrete done was a nightmare! Luckily the building went up without an issue. I'm also lucky that I had planned to do all the interior and electrical myself. I would have run out of money too.
Sorry to hear that but it makes me feel better I am not the only one. Congrats on getting it done though!
I'm glad to see you back faith and persistent is the key good luck in your new shop i do want to ask you what size is building. Thanks
Good to see you back, stay positive shop looks good! Can’t to see what the future holds for you!!
Thanks!
Glad you are back.
Thanks!
Might be a good idea to add cable " X " bracing at the corners for wind shear being you are in a Gulf State with Hurricanes
Thanks for the tip!
Sorry to hear about all the issues. Peoplaare idiots. I learned so much just from the few videos I watched. Going to give a shot at redoing my 63 LeSabre interior soon. Good luck with the new shop!
nice building, glad things are starting to come together for you!
Thanks!
John, nice video. Please enable subtitles on your videos for those of us who are hearing impaired.
Sorry! RUclips says the subtitles are still processing for that video. Thanks for watching!
Would love more courses!
Thanks! We are definitely planning on doing more!
Congratulations, you survived this far! great update.
Look into daylight balanced lighting for the shop when you get around to wiring the place. Make sure it's a 95+ CRI so you can shoot videos without color correction.
Thank you! Great Tip!
@MalcolmProductions1 - if you wouldn't mind shooting us an email we would love to pick your brain about this! Thank you!
👍🏻
Where can I get the oem door top trims. The part that's rounded from the side over the top and down in between the glass? Thanks in the advance
What’s up John. How have you been? It’s Brent from Novato.
Hey! Good man! Hope all is well with you too!
Holy crap… its pudd
rip off is the name of the game these days.....
It's sad but it was a good learning lesson. Thanks!
@@Theluckyneedle yes! same here.
1 thing I learned is that something good is going to happen for you. The devil is always there, when something real good is coming to you. You hot this. Just know something beautiful is headed to you 🫡✊️
Thank you!
