I've met Jaksel types during my college years, these people are insufferable. You can practically find these types of "accent" all over the Global South. Wealthy people mixing their local language with English (American), it's just so embarrassing.

As a filipino that grew up primarily in the city, I dont know how to really speak pure Tagalog, and find it weird when I hear someone talk pure tagalog like most radio announcers.

I'm not a Indonesian but I somehow still am able to understand bits of it so hearing this was pretty normal to me and nothing out of the ordinary, until a friend of mine said that it's basically the same as TagLish or Conyo speech (A mix between Tagalog and English languages)

I've lived in South Jakarta (or Jaksel in this case) nearly all my life and oddly enough the people I know who speak like that don't even live in Jaksel, it's just that South Jakarta has a lot of trendy hangout spots and has a pretty active nightlife where these types of people like to gather in. Also a lot of expats live in the South.
NPCs can only handle so much shenanigans from others before their programming breaks.
