      @@PRchris13 if I'm not wrong the server was made before the caves and cliff update because the branch had already plan it for a long time and just needed time for preparations and all, they did a relay of their grand opening and you should see moona's stream towards the end where they give a tour, let me tell you even though there weren't much stuff yet but it was beutiful and kinda hi tech, it got that mystical fantasy touch

      I've met Jaksel types during my college years, these people are insufferable. You can practically find these types of "accent" all over the Global South. Wealthy people mixing their local language with English (American), it's just so embarrassing.

    The reason why Jaksel (South Jakartan) accent is the way it is is because South Jakarta is rife with expats, and their interactions with the locals is leaving an influence for the linguistics development there. While it may seem cringe it's essentially just how a language evolves over time

    I'm not a Indonesian but I somehow still am able to understand bits of it so hearing this was pretty normal to me and nothing out of the ordinary, until a friend of mine said that it's basically the same as TagLish or Conyo speech (A mix between Tagalog and English languages)
    The moment he said it was enough for me to finally understand Moona's pain

    Damn, i can feel the trendyness from here, i can smell their god damned stingy cute smelling perfumes, i can feel their upper middle class status mocking me for being just middle class, i can taste the starbucks or boba tea or any other trendy drink, i can visualise the cold open-wide mall with their ugly floors and slightly orange tinted lights that reflects among the walls and floor while the Jaksel just walk around and being overly loud whilst i sit in with my family being dragged around by my sister and mother forced to wear clothing i do not need. 10/10 accent as expected from an Idol.

    The Jaksel accent sounds distressingly similar to how most in the younger generation speak English over here: an accent that tries to mimic the 'standard American' accent but the local accent keeps leaking out, creating an uncanny valley of an accent. Dari BD, btw.

    I've lived in South Jakarta (or Jaksel in this case) nearly all my life and oddly enough the people I know who speak like that don't even live in Jaksel, it's just that South Jakarta has a lot of trendy hangout spots and has a pretty active nightlife where these types of people like to gather in. Also a lot of expats live in the South.
