From what little "knowledge" I have, the relative order of avatar proportions does seem mostly correct (notice, ordering, not exact differences or scaling). But there are some standout exceptions.
(EDIT: Also, height has a looser correlation then the metric everyone else here seems to be talking about)
I specially find it funny that Noel is a size *LARGER* than her avatar
