I don't have to laptop's I cant ever make my windows to 64 bit am I right ? cause you need to make your USB to a bootable USB for another laptop, so this is bad for me I'm dead if you can help please reply !

A very good demo, but you forgot to mention at which point the PenDrive (USB) has to be removed.

@@ichklarmirdiechayas5398 , at the point when reboot and windows to start again, just pull the USB out, if you don't the system will recognise the USB is connected and will start using the USB as it is set in the beginning through the BIOS setting.

Thanks. Now Windows 10 actually can recognize & use all of the RAM I put in my Mom's computer a few months ago. Quite a bit faster. Nice. :) If anyone else wants to do this I recommend watching multiple youtube videos. Some don't cover everything you need to know before doing this. The whole process will take about 5-6 hours to complete & MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP ANY IMPORTANT FILES before attempting this. It will wipe your hard drive. Good luck :)

Making Sure Windows 10 64-bit is Compatible With Your PC
Step 1: Press Windows key + I from keyboard.
Step 2: Click on System.
Step 3: Click on About.
Step 4: Check the system type, if it says: 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor then your PC is running a 32-bit version of Windows 10 on a 64-bit processor.
for me it doesn't show any "[architecture]-based processor"
I also have 32bit OS and x64 processor..but when I open the setup in iso file it just says "This app can't run on your PC contact the developer" how to fix this

@@parulkaushal5261 no, only in the partition that u want to install windows 10 x64. In another partition (storage), your data is still there not erased by the installation process
When I reboot the computer it says "the option to update is not available if you turn on the pc with the windows installation support. If in the pc is already installed a copy of windows and you want to update, remove the support and reboot the pc. After you have rebooted the pc normally insert the support and execute the windows installation program" (this is roughly translated from italian), but if I try to open the program normally it says its not compatible. What should I do?

Hey so just to make sure you have to disconnect the device after it’s installed and then reconnect it later

This really works,but going into BIOS setting is different for every device. Try shutting down your Device instead of restarting ,from beginning start the specific keys(esc or f10).
Also boot priority could be under the heading of "legacy boot"

Hey you missed a step after installation you have to turn of your PC for a couple of minutes, after it works

2.: This is not an upgrade, this is a clean install. With an upgrade you will keep all you settings and data, you are formatting the HDD => data and programs gone => not an upgrade.

@@YGK- Sorry to say, no! 32/64 bit is a one-way road! Tried it by myself! Dell Notebook with pre-installed Windows XP => Win 8 32, Win 8.1 32, => tried to switch to Win 10 64! The upgrade can be done in the running OS, but every time you will trie this you will get, this a message of "this type of OS is not supported, choose 32bit OS"! But maybe I'm wrong, and there is a way, but I haven't found it, yet!

5:12 how did you know that partition 2 is your C drive? is it the same for everyone else?
No.
There are many videos in youtube watch them and find ur partition. Easiest is to remember the size of the drive where current windows is installed and finding that partition through diskpart in cmd.

how long did it take?
basically, all you need to do is to Move your USB/Disk to boot main priority, therefore next time you restart your pc the windows update window will pop up. All pc have mostly different ways, mine for example was easier to find. Just roam around in boot menu(i just pressed F12 and boot menu poped up :d) and find USB/Iso, and move it to the main priority.

Search for USB and press enter. If anyone is having trouble just search up how to to boot using usb on youtube/google

And reconnect your usb drive and restart your system
If you don't do this via flash drives the installation won't be 64 bit, if your processor is 64 bit but the installation will download the 32 bit of the os, that's why you need a fresh installation.
When i click enter in advance BIOS feature and click at boot device priority it donot shows my pendrive it only shows the hard drive
It says an operating system wasn't found try disconnecting any drives that don't contain an operating system

For all thy who do not understand all you need to do is to do:
1-Put an usb to your pc (Clearly USB cause the information is going to be cleared)
2-Download windows 10
3-Put windows 10 to your usb at the windows 10 setup
4-Go to your bios settings and put your usb at the start (Be sure to activate your usb on when pc is off)
5-Setup the windows 10
6-When it is going to restart, just remove the usb
7-Enjoy!

yes it will just deinstall steam, so u will have to log back in and ur games will all be there, also it gets rid of things u installed

You don't have to open the USB drive, you must restart your pc and boot it with USB drive. (You can do this with BIOS settings).
