No it did not help. You're leaving out the fact that some major features are disabled in the Windows 10 Settings if you don't activate it.

There are lots of Key sellers in the market. I tried three different companies, and both stopped working after a couple of months (One of them after less than a month). Also, once I had to upgrade to Windows 11, it stopped working because the key wasn't valid anymore.
Anyway, I got three keys for all my PCs from BNH-Software and have never looked back since. Zero issues.
There are some cheaper companies however I instead pay a few extra bucks for peace of mind.

@@jr3413 You only need to power off the computer if that is what you are reflashing if you are not using the downloaded windows 10 for the pc that you downloaded from you dont need to power it off unless you want to.

Btw, Microsoft gives you 30 days to activate Windows before the watermark appears. So that's why it isn't showing up on Joey's freshly installed laptop.

Very very easy tutorial and really descriptive, thank you. For anyone wondering I have a Lenovo G50 and dropped and it which basically destroyed the harddrive. I took it to a computer shop and he said I needed a new harddrive and in turn needed to reinstall an OS. For labor and tax as well as an on sale 240gb ssd he wanted to charge me around $165 all in. I went back and bought the SSD for $35+ HST and watched a video on how to install the ssd and then this video on how to get the OS. Everything worked flawlessly. This was uploaded in 2017 and I think they changed a few things for the install. I didn't get an option to enter a key to get rid of the of the water mark so I guess everything is free which is awesome (NO watermark on desktop), and I think a couple other small things changed but it's very self explanatory and it probably differs between PC's and laptop brands. Thank you very much for this tutorial, you saved me over $100. Much appreciated 👍

Now I have windows installed on my usb and obviously it was free from using the media creator tool from Microsoft. So when I boot up my pc for the first time windows will be found in my usb, but I’ll have a limited windows. 1) Proceed to the installation
2) When the restart window pops up, You'll have 10 seconds to remove the usb from the computer
3) Computer will restart from the WIN10

That very nice to know that this still works in 2019 and that it's free. A couple of small items though. Backing up your system before wiping your hard drive might not be a simple task. You may need to make sure you still have installers AND licenses handy for all programs that you use on your PC. Secondly, you may need to take note of any particular configurations you have on your PC (network, router, printer settings, etc). Lastly, do you have access to all of your drivers? Does your motherboard need particular drivers? Do you know what kind of mother board that you have? Are there any old programs you use where maybe the manufacturer has gone out of business and the license or driver is now not easily available anymore? Any old home videos or pics around that you forgot about? Old documents such as past tax returns? You may want to think of a whole backup plan and strategy before starting this. I had a HD crash once and reinstalled Windows, and there was an expensive music editing program that I had bought online. I went back to the site to re-download it, and they told me they now have a new version and I would have to buy that for $100's more since they no longer support the old version which had been working just fine for me. I was pretty angry about that.

@@fredofons6086 when you insert the usb flash drive, make sure it isn’t corrupted because the drive needs to be new or scanned if old, and it will show you can select it, also make sure the flash drive is 8GB+

When the watermark doesn't appear it means that your system is already assigned an activation key. Which is usually a laptop or desktop preconfigured by a Manufacturer

Yo I just want to say thank you bro for this awesome video. I owned this gaming rig for about three months and I’ve never seen the windows logo start up🤷🏼♂️ For some reason it was booting up a different way but I’ve done exactly what you said and now my GPU Doesn’t sound like a damn jet everything is running smooth and perfect🤙🏼 It had like four or five different partitions/recovery’s on only one 2gig m.2 ssd. I deleted them all cleared everything reinstalled windows all the drivers for my GeForce gpu/ect and now my Rig is running brand new better than how I got it.
