Honestly this movie just seems like a fun concept. The original was not good but I’m actually really curious to see if they pull it off well. And Kamala is a joy to watch so at least it has some thing’s going for it
I loved the original ... But then, I often find that I enjoy character development and relationship dynamics, that many action film fans don't really care about.
In any case, I feel the same way about watching Kamala, and about this one: looks great.

@@douglasivison4439 That's an interesting take, because I feel like the big problem with the first one was the total lack of character development because it was an amnesia story. Not only was there no development, there was no starting point.
She was trying to find her starting point and the movie was just, This happened and then this happened and then this happened, without character based reasons for anything. There might have been plot progression, but not character development.
The reason why I'm interested in the second is to see if they can actually develop her character now that they're not handcuffed by the amnesia story device.

Hmmm, still undecided about this one although I do still think the first one was somewhat underrated. Having said that the first shot looks like something out of Superman 4 and the inclusion of so much TV and previous movie footage makes this feel more akin to a ‘Previously On’ reel plus reminds me that only a few of the TV shows are available on Blu-ray and Disney, in their infinite wisdom, aren’t even targeting physical media in some countries and will surely roll things out worldwide eventually, the greedy, money grabbing, shitty remake, cash cow milking House of Fucking Mouse!
But other than that it’s a general shrug and a hope this can undo all the pain, hatred and mental damage done by Quantamania which, certainly at this point, seems about as likely as recasting Iron Man with Noel Edmonds (Note to future readers that should Edmonds eventually don the suit then it was entirely my idea and thus I should be the one taking in billions and not sodding Disney, okay?)
First trailer, and to me it's understandable that they would include background, because lots of people seeing the trailer haven't seen the first film.
