Absolute legend he is, RIP Vin Scully
I am so lucky to have been able to listen to Vin for the entirety of my 50 years. Dodger baseball will never ever be the same without him. He is a true American treasure.
Yes a tresure. An icon. Vin is the very best.
I'm the same age as you and an LA native, so he has a been a part of my life ever since I discovered baseball as a child. Someone said it best the other day when they said that in spite of Vin's humility and his insistence that he has always been just an observer of the game, ironically he is truly the real-life version of Roy Hobbs, The Natural. When someone such as ourselves talks about Vin to his children or grandchildren, he'll say, "you see that guy? That's Vin Scully. The best there ever was." Enough said. My summer afternoons and evenings will never be the same. God bless you, Vin.
unfandenatacion I agree with you. There will never be another Vin Scully for a long long time. Vin is a true legend, an icon. Vin belongs on Mt. Rushmore. Vin is a treasure.
Absolutely. I miss him already.
I REMEMBER LISTENING TO THE LA DODGERS RADIO NETWORK FROM 2002 UNTIL 2016 WHEN VIN SCULLY CALLED HIS FINAL GAME WHEN THE LA DODGERS TOOK ON THE SAM FRANCISCO GIAMTS ON 10-02-2016 AND THAT GAME WAS ALSO SIMULCAST ON KTLA 5 AND KLAC AM 570 LA SPORTS.
I dig his New York Giants throwback cap. Still strange to think that back in 36, the Giants cap was blue and white lol.
Thank you vin.
Thank you to kdwn in las vegas for carrying the dodgers on radio throughout the 80s. What a ride!
Vin was with me half the calendar year.
He was missed when he retired but death missed is heartbreaking .
Rip
I hear you bro! Thank you KOY / KFYI in Phoenix for carrying the Dodgers for all those years! Thanks to them the Valley of the Sun is still a Dodgers home away from home! RIP Vinny...
Double hurt! Double happiness! Thank you for announcing 4 generations of our family! You are a glue of greatness!
We shall miss you Vin! Your voice will always come to mind when we think of the Dodgers
Thank you and bless you, Vinnie! Thank you for 66 years-67 consecutive seasons of Dodger baseball. You sir will always be the greatest Dodger of all time. 👏👏👏👏👏 👋👋👋👋👋 👍👍👍👍👍 😀😀😀😀😀 ⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾
I'm 23, but I remember hearing Vin for the first time when I was 7or 8 and it was magical. There will never be another one like him. Thanks for the wonderful calls throughout the Giants rivalry. #belEVEN#orangeoctober
Vin Scully profoundly impacted me from the time I was 11 years old in 1962. His humanity, love of the game, respect for the opposition...I could go on and on.
As a Phillies fan one of my favorite parts of the season was the road trip to LA so I could put on the Dodgers telecast and listen to Vin call the game. I'll miss Vin as much as I still miss Harry. God bless.
The best EVER.........thanks for all the AMAZING memories Vin !!! Dodger Baseball will never be the same for me....
Thanks for the memories Vin.
Class, in and out of the booth. A respectable person, thanks for all the memories Vin...

I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING!
Hey, I'm a Giants fan and this brings tears to the eyes. Sad for us fans, but glad for him.
There's no crying in baseball. Actually, let me rephrase...
Thanks for posting this. God bless the Scullys
Thank you for everything Vin! Rest well 😭
Rest in paradise to the greatest Story teller of all time MR VIN SCULLY
I an crying. Since I was 5 years old. What a voice.
Oh Vin!
We will all miss you dearly. Incomparable man. The greatest ever. I was there and shed tears at his last home game as Dodgers won in 10 innings
There are three iconic voices that a shy, lonely little boy who grew into a lonely man recalls. Most people can point to wonderful childhood memories with their close friends but I’m proud to say my best years were accompanied by Vin Scully, Fred Rogers and Bob Ross.
Wholesome, loving and passionate about what they do/did. I never lived in LA, I have no reason whatsoever to be a Dodger fan. Vin did that, Vin IS ALL the reasons I love baseball and waited all day to hear “It’s time for Dodger baseball.”
😢😢 Love Vin. He is the BEST!
Wow growing up with him on the radio...classic
Thanks Mr. Scully.
Class#1 Broadcaster like none other and also a Class #1 Human Being..MR. VIN SCULLY
Just to hear him talking to his friends sounds like a play call, you da man Vinny!
My first memories of Vin were when he called the 1974 World Series on NBC. As a 10-year-old I thought this announcer i was hearing for the firs titme had a wonderful voice.
The voice of Dodger baseball. Vin is the greatest to have done it in any sport. How can you beat a broadcasting career than spun through 67 years?
What a great man!
I'd love to see Vin's scorecards through the years. Wonder if he keeps them all.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an instagram account??
I somehow lost my account password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Gerald Braxton instablaster :)
He had told Dan Patrick in 2014 that he was not good at scorecards and would toss them out after every game
THANK YOU VIN SCULLY
IN THE PRESENCE OF GREATNESS
Is time for Giants Baseball. Im a die hard Giants fan. But much respect to you Vin Scully
"Ok love" did anyone else tear up when Vin said that? Just me ok 💙😭
I love you vin Scully
Nobody called a game better than you did Vin.
0:37 filling out his own boxscore lol.
Rest in Peace Vin Scully

Rest in Peace.
I’m still waiting for the elevator to come back.
Farewell vin
Who’s this?
Vinny had a dental appointment the next afternoon
wish he called more road games
He did sixties seventies eighties and part of the nineties he did all dodger games.
There’s no kissing in baseball.
With this gem retiring when will the Beavis & Butthead of MLB - Krukow & Kuiper go away?
Vins not going to do the playoffs
Yet another YT video spoiled by useless audio.
