My lenovo legion slim 5 with a ryzen 7 8845hs and 4060 seemed insanely hot on the cpu to me, i was not comfortable with the gaming temperatures being around 90-100 degrees celsius.. but had returned my first one due to a dead pixel, when i received the second one it was the same heating issue. But by simply turning off cpu turbo boost it solved all the heating issues! Now the highest the cpu has gone is 71 degrees, even during stress testing and gaming
Most youtubers don't show cpu temps and some of them only shows GPU cuz GPU always stay cool even in intensive tasks And the whole thing makes no sense
@shrey522 @Smart_boy2001 Yup, the GPU was chill. And besides the point is to get you to watch the other segments and the other videos on my channel. If I give you the whole cow, who's gonna buy the cheese and milk separately later. lol. Poor analogy but I'm sure you get it.
Indeed it is. The RTX 4070 is more than capable for video editing. Also the Sllim 5 is s a great laptop overall. I actually did video editing on that laptop itself. Be sure to turn your timeline resoluion or use proxy clips at a lower resolution to make panning through the timeline and working with 1080p an higher media easier.
I believe Jarrod made a video showing how ther RTX 4060 and 4070 performance just flattens after 100w, so there was no point pumping in more power which would just add extra heat. Check 6:20 in this video ruclips.net/video/jMMrh6PpLI4/видео.html

Strange but why did you not show cpu and GPU temps at all? I mean.. it just make the whole video pointless imo.

@@Smart_boy2001 very true

@@techknowlux please add cpu and gpu temps while talking about temps and wattage. It's very imp imo. Good luck 👍
@@Smart_boy2001 you dont know most youtubers
This machine is prohibitively loud - a complete showstopper and no-go for me. Thank you for this video!
Brother please help me will this laptop good for video editing?
Please tell me bro.

Is it running on dual or single channel RAM

@manuadhishmj2399 Thanks for sharing this link. It's very good to know. FYI everyone. Save a few bucks and just get an RTX 4060 then?
@@techknowlux Yeah the VRAM is more likely to be a bottleneck than the tiny performance gain u get from the 4070.
Tiny? Lol.. did you see Jarrods video? It performs 20 percent better than 4060.. pls don't justify your purchase😅@@manuadhishmj2399
@@manuadhishmj2399bullshit, it’s always good to get even 20% performance, usually in the similar price
