I've had my CycloneRake Classic since 2003, and it's performed admirably for coming up on 20 years. Mine has the Tecumseh engine, and it starts on either the first or second pull even after nine month's storage between usage. I did have to replace the impeller several years ago, but that's been the only issue so far. Watching your video has convinced me that even at the price of $100, the jackstand is easily justified.
Good Video - Thanks for sharing! I have purchased the Z-10 model Cyclone Rake and am currently awaiting it's arrival. I did not purchase the Wheeled Jack Stand, as I thought it was too expensive for what you were getting. I can see from your video, that it is actually designed and made for the machine! I am now more interested in getting one.
Thanks for posting this. I have had a cyclone rake for two years and I have been doing the same thing with a milk crate when I am not using it. It's always a bit of a hassle getting it into position when trying to set it on the crate. I have been thinking about purchasing the jack stand and after watching your video i will do it. Thanks again
great vid now I will buy one but I had to laugh when you said you were getting older im 74 and my Z10 is just a little too heave foe me so jack stand it is
Hey. I'm on the fence about one of these. My kubota zd bagged total is over 4K. Have you tried this in wet grass or grass at all and if so. How'd it work. I know you can go bigger on cyclone just wondering what your opinion was on it besides for leaves
Zeb Zeb I've used it maybe once with grass but it has been a long time ago. If too thick/long/wet, I can see it clogging. Also, this version would probably drive you crazy when it was time to empty.
I wouldn't recommend for grass. I have the Z-10 model and grass clogs the top mesh. They might have a different mesh with bigger holes, I don't know. For grass, it is great. Plus wet grass would probably make it really really heavy to empty. I'm a big guy, and it is not impossible heavy, but it can be a chore.
+Zeb Zeb yes it fills up fast. But also if it is packed full with material, it does not just slip out until you get a good bit of material out so it is looser. I think they have some other models that look like the would be really easy to empty.
I own DR tow behind it work will have had it for 10 years ts year bought 2370 but had some trouble work kubota getting a boot kit took 4 or 5 months my dealer got one from a different Kubota dealer I believe Kubota still have them on back order PaK

After twenty years manhandling, your back will thank you!
@@ODLife It came in only a couple of days and I installed it today in about 20 minutes. Couldn't be happier, and worth every penny.
Thank you for taking the time to show us this install. Have a great day !
You bet

Whys that. The capacity?

+Zeb Zeb I will say, the customer service is fantastic!
+Zeb Zeb one other thing I really like is the impeller, I have sucked an empty qt of oil, it went through and nothing busted.
