There's no such a thing as modern Muslim @@lubna.candid in islam women have no rights I'm Muslim but not gonna lie 2 myself or 2 anyone and even children's don't have rights.
I grew up with Muslim girls who wanted so much to have the freedom I had as a white English girl, they were born here and were totally integrated but due to being Muslim they were restricted.
They never read the Quran nor believed in it but were born into it, my best mate was sent to Bangladesh at 15 to get married to a cousin she had never met, we rang childline asking how do we help, we were told to leave people and their culture alone. It broke my heart because I never saw her again.
Sad..
So is that a Bengali cultural issue or Muslim ?? Because many other Muslim countries don’t do that. You can see lots of Muslim women surgeons, dentists , and all sorts of professional jobs 👍👍
@@ozyuk9226 It is an islamist issue. Bangladeshi sufi irfaan muraqabah syncretic islam use to be far more femnist, matriarchal, lbgtq+ affirming, syncretic, liberal in the past.
Bangladesh still is has a mild matriarchy. The current PM and leader of the opposition are both woman in Bangladesh and this has been normalized for some time. West Bengal's CM is also a woman.
I think the problem is the islamization of the UK, especially among multi-generational muslims. Bangladeshi islam remains far more syncretic and liberal than UK islam.
One of my Bangladeshi muslim gay friends tells me it is safer to be openly gay in Bangladesh than in London. And that for this reason this friend prefers to stay in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has long had a vibrant gay and lbgtq+ scene.
@@ozyuk9226 "many other Muslim countries don’t do that. You can see lots of Muslim women surgeons, dentists , and all sorts of professional jobs " The same is true in Bangladesh and West Bengal among muslims. Bangladesh is an asian tiger economic miracle., but the way most of Asia is.
Of course, recently the global left and global woke have started pushing sunni islamism inside Bangladesh and West Bengal and India and the UK. The biggest problem for muslims in Bangladesh are not the sunni islamists (who are a big problem), but the woke nonmuslims of India, UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Canada and world. They demonize liberal Bengali muslims.
The Brown Pundits blog had an article about this written about this by a Bangladeshi muslims that I can't cite here.
By law, at 15 she's classed as a child! That poor girl. I wish people would stop doing this to children! This shouldn't be about cultural sensitivity, this is about children and young people. Thankfully, there are agencies to go to and the police are getting better at this! To hear of girls going through this is heartbreaking! They're all in my thoughts and prayers! 🤍🤍🤍
Lubna is an excellent interviewer. Go on Lubna! ✌❤💪🦁
🙌
So glad you invited Apostate Aladdin on. We really need to hear reasonable voices.
✌️
And others in the ex-muslim movement aren't sane voices? The arrogance of your statement is breath-taking.
@@imrandma I’m afraid you are reading into my comment an intent that wasn’t there. I was not comparing Apostate Aladdin to other ex-Muslims. I was merely saying I’m glad he was invited because he is a reasonable voice. There are many other reasonable voices amongst ex-Muslims. Everyone has their own style and perspective. I may not always agree with everyone's views or style. But we don’t have to all agree on everything. Nor do we have to take an: “Either you’re with us or against us,” approach. "Ex-Muslim" is not a religion or political party. We are all different and that’s perfectly fine.
Lubna, is there actually a reason NOT to be afraid of islam? I’m no Islamophobe, I am terrified of it. (Phobia is an irrational fear, whereas my fear is based on what I’ve learned about islam)
😬
Really what did you learn? Did you read the Quran? Did you speak to practising Muslims? Or did you listen to an ex-Muslim?... i wouldn't learn about Christianity from someone who is not Christian....
@@SaraAli-pu7vjListen to us ex Muslims. We are educating our ummah to understand the cult they are in. Almost 90 percent Muslims don’t understand the Quran they read like a parrot and pay attention to Tajweed only not understanding what Quran is saying or the Hadiths. Adult breastfeeding verse eaten by a goat 🐐 lol 😂 the goat was more powerful than God. Saudi Alim is fighting with TV reporter as this verse being true and eaten by a goat . As per google Moses was a fictional character and as per authentic Hadiths a stone ran away with a fictional character’s clothes 😂. Dear Sarah Ali what are you believing in ? 😊
@@SaraAli-pu7vjHarris sultan aka Pakistani Mulhid, Ghalib kamal, Zafar heretic, Apostate Alladin be your guide. Your Alims are chicken 🐔 running away from them.
@@SaraAli-pu7vj no, I have not read the Quran, like 80% of Muslims haven’t because they can’t read Arabic. They learn from the interpretations of their imams. Instead I’ve listened to my wife who fled Iran after experiencing the change from the light to the darkness that the Islamic regime brought upon the country. I’ve learned from the evil Quran and Hadith verses about fighting the infidels and about the end-time not arriving until all Muslims shall fight the Jews and the Jews will hide behind trees and rocks, and the trees and rocks shall betray them to the Muslims, I’ve heard about the jizya Christians and Jews have to pay in humiliation, before being slaughtered, I’ve read about the death penalty for apostates, I’ve heard imams saying that Gay people should be thrown off rooftops, I know of the 83 wars Mohammed waged, I know he married 6 year old Aisha and raped her when she was 9, I know about his death after having eaten poisoned food, cooked by the widow of a man he slaughtered, I’ve seen footage of the Hamas terrorists that murdered, raped, burned innocent people. I know about the abrogation in the texts, I’ve heard Muslims scream for shariah in England. How much more do I need to tell you I’ve learned? If I rip out the evil parts of the Quran all that’s left is the gospel of the Christians. Mind you, I’m a devout atheist. To me all religions are bad, but the one that combines being bad with being evil is Islam.
So Happy y'all did a collab!
🙂
I really cannot get my head around the fact that anyone who leaves Islam is considered an apostate and gets threatened with violence or even worse. It make me believe that it's an absolute insecurity in their own ideology. I do realise that it's part of the teachings, but where other ideologies have changed to keep pace with the changing times, Islam has remained back in the past and has not progressed one iota.
Google and read mohammads last sermon, and it will fall into place.
It’s a cult
@@harry.flashman I have absolutely no desire to read anything written by him, thanks, but no thanks.
@@Anglo-Saxon-Glory Fair enough, ill summarise it. It is rather long winded. Its a hadeeth he gave before he died and said:
The Jews were split into seventy one sects and one of them is in Paradise and seventy are in the Hellfire. The Christians were split into seventy two sects and seventy one are in the Hellfire and one of them is in Paradise. By the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, my nation will split into seventy three sects and one of them is in Paradise and seventy two are in the Hellfire.
It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the ones in Paradise?” The Prophet said:
الْجَمَاعَ
They are those who follow my way and my companions.
Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2641, Grade: Hasan
^There is a big focus in islam on avoiding 'bidah' or innovation, hence rigid adherence to medieval ways. Theres a few examples warning about modernising the religion and also the last verse of the koran 'revealed' Allah said 'Today i have completed my favour on you, and chosen for you the Islam (peace via submission)'
So thats why the laws are followed to the letter 1400 years on unlike the other Abrahamic religions and apostacy laws. Its attribute imo is fear.

Very interesting ! Thank you for recording Lubna. Looking forward for part two !
Glad you enjoyed it!
Would you consider interviewing Tommy Robinson?
Love you lubna ❤
Sure
Great chat Lubna. As a Brit and an atheist (born loosely into Christianity), your fear and your confusion about needing reassurance that not all mus lims are so extreme is shared by many of us. That’s at the root of much of the perceived hate.
Yes..♥️
Islam is a religion and also a political system that is designed to take political power. Unless its reformed by Muslims, it will take over. Christianity doesn't have a political arm, so Christians don't work together to impose their rule on other nations and ethnicities and races. Look at examples from around the world to see how this ALWAYS works out, it never ends with power sharing. One side wins. Look at Yugoslavia, made up of Croats, Serbs and Bosnians. They have no intention of living together.
If only 5% are extremist then western society is doomed
Ultimately, although we may disagree with the world view of others, there is no room for hate. Thank you both for moving the conversation forward in a wholesome way. ❤
Thanks for commenting
Great balanced interview, and I love calm reasoned debate. Self reflection and questioning are normal in any faith, what isnt normal is if those questions in your faith bring threats of violence or name calling. For me, that's a massive Red Flag

Aladdin exaggerates a little bit. There's a lot of hatred coming from the Muslim community on YT, and people from the anti-Muslim community generally don't hate Muslims. It's reasonable to be earnestly opposed to such a harmful ideology. I'm from Bosnia. In the Bosnian civil war, thousands of Mujahideen, people from al-Qaeda, and Wahhabis, came to help the Bosnian Muslims, and chopped the heads of Christians. Muslim leader in Bosnia spoke how there can be no peace with unbelievers and spoke how he wanted to establish an Islamic state. And they all were just doing what their books say (if you are willing to research), the holy war for Islam.
🤷♀️
Alladin does not have exaggerated he grows up into it… south Arabia too..
Can imagine the perfume inside him?
Yup, those teachings are all in there, that's why there is so many terrorist organisations, they all have that one thing in common
Apostate Aladdin is so confused and contradictory in his views that there is no point in listening to him. He's pretty pathetic.
His contradictions are not with himself as a person but the teachings and dictates of the religion he had since left.
Matter of fact he comes across as an ex muslim who is much more respectful towards others when compared to a practicing muslim.
He does not label the religious teachings or insult the believes of muslims as confused.
Matter of fact he has gone out of his way to highlight the fact that he is an apostate because of his own inability to reconcile the contradictions he has with certain things that Islam teaches its followers.
What looks pathetic is the supremacist attitude that enables one to dismisses an apostate who by virtue of his actions and words seems to be a much better person than so called believers.
Clearly the religion didnt help.

Lubna, what you are doing with your channel is so important. I have been a Christian for over 40 years but my faith has evolved much over that time. Because I love to study I have changed. This past twelve months has been the biggest paradigm shift and it has really shaken my faith. After reading Bart Ehrman ( who many Christians wouldn’t listen to because he is an agnostic but also one of the worlds expert on the Bible) I was led to read Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan. I now believe Jesus was sent by God as a prophet but he is not God. Apostasy! As you can imagine my Christian friends think I’m backslidden and I don’t even know what to call myself!! I started looking in to Islam after falling in love with Rumi’s poetry. I was also curious that they believed Jesus was a prophet but not God. I have found many beautiful Muslim scholars like Kabir Helminski, his wife Camille Helminski, Dr Shabir Ally and to some extent a few others.i have books on Ibn Arabi, Ghazali, Shams and Rumi and I love them! Father Richard Rohr says that Mystics of the world speak the same language…. LOVE. Reading about Ibn Arabi I could be reading about Saint Teresa of Avila! His language for God is pure love. But…. Then I go on IG and look at some of the female revert stories and I read the comments 🙈🙈🙈 ‘wear a hijab’ ‘nail polish is haram’ ‘music is haram’ ‘dogs are haram’. I want to run a million miles!!! I’ve found myself desperate looking for others like myself and finding nobody. It is lonely. I am spiritually confused.i see beauty in both faiths but also ugliness in both. I picture my funeral one day and can’t even imagine a funeral service without arguing what church the ceremony would be in 😂😂 or would I be cast off as a non believer by everyone!! I think God is laughing with me taking myself so seriously. I hope I’ll find peace some day. I’d like to think the Muslim faith would have a reformation of sorts like the Christian church did in the 1500’s but that will bring the same kind of intolerance that still exist today between Catholics and Protestants. I should just bury myself in my Rumi books and leave social media alone because Islam is wonderful when it’s untarnished. So is Christianity.
Interesting! You should come on my channel!
An apostate is the same as a sinner, it's religious forced guilt, all in the mind and doesn't exist outside of thoughts. Islam has a problem with violence to ex Muslims, but it only shows their weaknesses and delusions.
Great interview, you are a good speaker.

Great interview Lubna! You both had raised some interesting issues! Men should lower their gaze especially when their wives are with them and STOP bully women on what they should be wearing! I don't mind the hijab, but it should be a matter of choice. I've had read posts on Muslim females who like to wear the Hijab and others who don't! Its about choice and free will! The lack of knowledge and understanding exhibited by individuals deeply affects me. I firmly advocate for genuine and selfless emotions that are not driven by personal gain. It saddens me to witness the excessive importance placed on outward appearances, as it only serves to drown out the true essence of individuals. The clamor of superficiality masks the richness of scents, leaving us deprived of the true beauty that lies within. It is disheartening to see how the absurdity of certain situations can be mistaken for seriousness, while the true devotion of passionate individuals often goes unnoticed.

Btw Lubna, I would tell everyone on the planet to embrace their personal spirit and experience what they are meant to experience. There are too many outside influences. Prayer, meditation, music, can all set us into the spiritual platform. Then listen to what your heart wants, and how your heart wants to live. Your heart can be compared to others hearts, and that will show you the way.
And how do you know your personal spirit what is that?
Yes
ApostateAladdin seems a down to earth chap with sense, I’ve seen him around briefly and think he will be a tonic to this journey Lubna seems to be on.
If the result of him needing to wear a mask just for making a logical assessment of the data doesn’t invoke a feeling that there’s a serious deficit in the ideology of the followers of Islam resorting to threats, then I wonder how competent people are. There are certainly disingenuous people who simply want to oppress all with what they themselves have been forced to accept.
I think it was in The Economist where I recently read that places like Iran where girls get battered to death for what is considered culturally inappropriate dress, are actually growing hotbeds of disillusion due to the hardline force tactics. It’s counter intuitive. If the faith were compelling then it would be enough to sell itself, but non Muslims outnumber Muslims in this world by 3 to 1, that’s one hell of a potential market base for conversion, but the reality is they can’t stop the growing % of apostasy.

Good interview and responses. Lubna, if you view religion - any religion - as a philosophy I'm sure you will find that the core messages are not that different from each other and with or without the divine content they all haver some sensible ethical points to make. It is quite possible to be a morally decent person without labelling yourself as a member of any particular religion. And there is still an appreciation of the magical, mystical nature of consciousness and seemingly supernatural experiences!
I agree 💯
Yes that’s my experience too 👍

Who the fk is yashua?
Did Islam come knocking on the door of all the Asian, Arab, Persian, European and African countries with a brochure saying we will leave this with you and when you have finished reading it if you like it you can join us? I'm not saying that Christianity was any better. It's actually been laid down by sword even worse in the dark ages. But the thing is that Christians can chose to leave no problem?
christianity is better. islam is pure horror
Jesus Christ is God. Who with a right mind would want to leave the true living God.
Don't judge the faith by people, check the scriptures..islam is evil, violent, and a death cult.

Imagine you want to work in a company, then you read the law of the company and you find one condition said if you leave the company,we will kill you !
I believe you will turn your back and run 🏃♀️ out .
But muslims born in this company (islam) and they know the law and they see if even to think or ask about laws , so you keep working and start giving reasons to yourself.....but not all people are same , some they are so brave, honest they are willing to die for the freedom and those are the heros ❤

Are you a Muslim?
@lubna.candid dear beloved Lubna!
I am an Assyrian Christian nativ people of the land of the two rivers ,called Iraq today , I study arabic all my life but we still speak the language of Jesus Christ, the Aramaic ، when I saw your video crying, u touched my heart and I felt how you struggle to find answers just answers same as me when I started go to the elementary school and first thing I heat was ,you are kafir filthy najes(نجس) and you will go to hell and it's better to be a muslim to go to jannah otherwise allah will burn u in the hell fire, imagine 6 years old child face I never forget the insult whenever the children have chance to do so since then I started ask questions, and find why they discriminate us and not let us to be even the principal of any school, when I grow up I read sirah and hadiths of all 6 sahih books as well as the tafseer and I realize the answers why and why same as you exactly but the difference is that I born Christians and you born muslims and as I tought by Jesus Christ to love and feel the suffering of others even if the others see me as enemy.
I hope you will find the peace that you are searching for

Example?
I feel you're making a difference already Lubna, you have got people talking and thats a massive step ,well done lass.

Apostate Aladdin has a balance view.
Yes

Just a thought here, but in my opinion, your videos are interesting to people for the reason that you have been frank, self analytical regarding your background and showing an intelligent approach to social issues. If you present yourself as something less than the apparent sincerity your began with, or as something false, I think you will lose that appeal that you began with. Humility and sincerity will win sincere people with sincere and genuine interest in discussion, but a false presentation of yourself will attract false people, with insincere agendas. (not saying you are, but just a thought about this)
Yes I agree. Got to be candid on the channel otherwise what's the point

Dealing with a person who suffers from a narcissistic personality disorder is not easy. Narcissistic relationships can start off seemingly loving and caring, but eventually reveal their abusive nature through emotional blackmail, insults, accusations, sabotage, and other harmful behaviors.
Narcissistic is a spiritual dis- ease
Curable only spiritualy!
No medication can cause a spiritual disease except the master of the spiritual realm-/the great spirit of all spirits!
Just like we have spiritual disease, we have physical disease, spiritual disease, have spiritual medicine, physical disease have physical medicine
Narcissistic is a spiritual disease!

I have watched your video with Arif Hussein,
I really like how you defended Islam, and how rational you were and made sense.
He tried to make Islam look really bad, you countered everything.
My sincere advice, don’t look to Ex Muslim for advice on Islam.
These people have hatred and animosity against the Creator(Allah).
Many of Ex Muslim don’t believe in the existence of God.
Yes unfortunately some Muslim don’t represent Islam with good image.
It’s how the text is being interpret with different scholars etc, where the issue is.
Seek advice sincerely from good Muslims, hopefully God will lead you to the truth and righteousness.

Ex Muslim :: Why Muslims afraid of read Holy Bible? Christians : Learn & Share (Strongtower27)
The woman has made a chart/list of stuff that stands between Muslims (actually everyone) and the Truth (Jesus ✝️).
She drew a picture of it with you on one side and the Truth on the other and a thick cloud of fog (the list) in between.
She explains the whole picture.
Maybe you recognize things she mentions.

I hope it will help you in your search for the truth...!

Body has cancer and some wounds , but I think whats happening here is you have medicine but trying to apply the same medicines for cancer and wounds, you need to prioritize what needs to cured first and kind of wounds to address first. after cancer you can focus on wounds
I think when the wounds are not same the medicine cannot be rational too.
Hmm
Two minutes in and you are spot on. People leave Islam because of a genuine lack of warm human feelings. A lot also “ maybe purposefully or through lack of intelligence “ hadiths ( excuse my spelling). The same happens in Christianity with the pope endorsing gay marriages.
Christianity is about following the Christ not the pope!
Don’t confuse the 2
@@cocoalfaridah5831 I don’t confuse the two I know the difference The church of England was formed by King Henry Vlll with the blessing of the Vatican because King Henry only wanted a son and his previous wives where eventually beheaded because of this reason. Again American Evangelicals don’t believe in Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Please some black churches in the south of America have their own church because they believe God is black. I hope you both grow your channel I believe in everyone spreading the message of love and gratitude in having food and shelter.

@@garybennett5645It impossible not to believe in Jesus and Holy Spirit and still call yourself Christian 🤷🏻♀️ People have different interpretations of the gospel and how to practice and apply the teaching.
This is what I always heard women saying:
I’m a Muslim woman. I DO feel trapped but not because of Islam, but rather because of some Muslims, especially men, who have the tendency to misuse religion to fit their demands and desires.

Fear to jump or point at what gives them that special kind of privilege to treat her like this..

I know what your heart has chosen, and therefore I know you are looking for a spiritual leader. I have been seduced to listen to the devil before however, so we must be careful in choosing a spiritual leader. Maybe that’s why extremist exists, because they are made to believe that the darkness is God instead of maybe God himself. Whoa, I just blew this wide open for myself. 🙏❤️
Islam is imperfect, Muslims are victims of that imperfection teachings….
Please elaborate..
I see your loving and empathetic heart. That’s who you are and how you have chosen to exist. I myself have been caught up on people pleading, and have found myself confused because of how outside influences I allowed to influence my life. Once I chose a spiritual leader to guide me, I’ve seen the freedom to choose to embrace what my heart wants. I’m realized I don’t have to choose for myself, anything that others want. So Christian, Muslim, or any other association is irrelevant of it doesn’t resonate with my desire of who I want to be, and how I want to live.
@@lubna.candid Within all religions exists semantics. Kill or don’t kill, ceremony or no ceremony. Things like that. I choose for my own spirit. I think “if I was alone in the world, who would I be, and what God would exist in that circumstance?
@@lubna.candid One more thing, my personal choice is mine. No one should dictate my choice to believe. My personal relationship with Jesus and God is only mine. God isn’t going to give me the things that others need, because GOD only effects my life. It’s separated from all others anyway. I call him my Jesus, because he is personally.
When ex Muslim speak with Muslim still they are prudential, they don’t believe everything they say, afraid to be trapped in again if they don’t put some invisible psychological barriers for self protection..
One person put it this way!
He said when we deal with Muslims as x Muslims, it is like when you speak with your ex remembered all the pain you went through sharing with him/ her same bed!
The pain resurfaces unless they converted to another religion, new wife or husband… for new life communication cannot be in the same bide with the x..
