I expected there would be some hateful and racist comments in response to this candid discussion on migration. However, I choose to view them with compassion. Many are clearly disappointed and struggling with the realities I described.
To those leaving insults - I love you all the same and pray you find peace. I appreciate you showing your true perspective, as difficult as it is to hear at times. We may disagree, but opening an honest dialogue is the only way forward.
To those sharing your own struggles - thank you for your vulnerability. I see your pain and disappointments. My hope is that greater understanding can help address the systemic issues affecting us all.
Despite the challenges, I remain hopeful for a world where we can coexist with mutual understanding and respect for our common humanity.
    God bless all of you

Should the French have accepted the German occupation in ww2? Should ghandi have accepted British occupation in India, what about Palestine? Where do you stand on that? When is enough immigration into Britain? When we all packed together like penguins on an ice flow? What's the incentive to develop and modernise your own nations if you can simply get on a dinghy and vine to Britain? You need to struggle to develop your own nations not simply hijack nations whose people have struggled for generations to make prosperous and fair decent societies.

Tbh, a lot of the uk IS the way people expect it to be, but unfortunately, those are not the areas immigrants tend to end up in. Also, what they don’t realise is that the large immigrant population is one of the elements that is undermining the standards that we have a reputation for. We simply don’t have the resources or infrastructure to sustain them. Also - and I know this certainly isn’t true of all immigrants, maybe not even most - but many come here clearly expecting a free ride/handouts or even preferential treatment and are disappointed when they realise that’s not going to be the reality. There is a lot of entitlement around, which is evident in the attitudes displayed on social media.

    • @simonh6371
      @simonh6371 Месяц назад +3

Well he said social media and TV programmes. By TV programmes I think he means it's promoted or publicised rather than specifically advertised in a commercial sense. Remember English isn't his first language and in any language translations of the same word vary according to context, nuance etc. So he could mean the image projected via films, TV series etc. - many British TV series are exported.
Over a decade ago I saw a documentary talking to European immigrants in the UK. There was a middle-aged Slovakian lady who said her impression of England was chocolate-box villages with thatched cottages, vicars etc. Well then she said she realised it was bs when she was shocked seeing two tattooed women fighting in a pub car park. This is what this guy means but using different comparisons. The European image/stereotype of England is this outdated perception of us being genteel, cultured, polite etc. In Germany when someone displays bad manners they say ''das ist nicht die feine Englische Art'' meaning ''that isn't fine English manners''.

I noticed one the other day on the bus going through Shepherd's Bush where I saw obvious South Asians entering a dirty PVC door next to a grotty chicken shop, there was a sign above it with the name of some uni. We really are products of the information we consume.
It's like how North Koreans might believe they're the happiest people on Earth - that's all the information they're allowed to receive, so it shapes their entire reality.
I've experienced this on a personal level too. Just last week, I saw a TikTok ad for a protein bar five times in one day. Even though I'd never thought about needing it before, I found myself at the store buying one. It's as if the repeated exposure created a need that wasn't there originally.
This happens with more than just products. When I was constantly on social media, I noticed my moods, opinions, and even personality starting to mirror my feed. I'd get anxious about issues I'd never considered before or find myself repeating views I hadn't really examined.
It's crucial to be intentional about our information diet. Just like we watch what we eat for our physical health, we need to be careful about what we feed our minds. Now, I try to curate my information sources more carefully, and I feel more like my authentic self as a result.

Then mass migration!!!! You talk about shitting in the streets, I actually saw this with my own eyes, I went to Oxford Street for the day and didn't hear one English voice in one shop (all Eastern Europeans, can you imagine that in your home city), I went to Camden market, where I went every Sunday with my father as a child, gone all the Londoners replaced by Pakistanis and Turks selling cheap crap!!! Now a city that I no longer recognise and still they're coming!!!!! So I like your video show it to all prospective migrants and let them know that the party IS over!!! Our beautiful country destroyed and gone like many other parts of Europe. Eastern Europe is having a boom though, they've all gone home with the money they made in our country, happy to slag off the UK now, it's great there they say, look at Poland proud to take not one African or Muslim refugee, no knife crime, no shitting in the streets, they witnessed the mess in UK and don't want the same to happen to theirs!!!!!!! Well for sure there are those who have taken and given nothing back to our still wonderful little country. Equally there are those who came legally have done nothing but give sweat, toil, effort, the benefit of their brains and the benefit of their breeding children back to the country - these come under the banner of a fair days work for a fair days pay and the social consquences are enormouns as they will contribute to the gene pool as their chldren or g/children meet, marry, mate the indigens. Nothing but positives in a country with a nosediving birthrate.
Illegals - different matter altogether and for them there should be no hint of a possibility of them ever succeeding in their efforts and they should come to the realization that here they will always be hunted and returned. No peace for them, no solace for them, no charity for them, no food for them just a criminal record of being found guilty of being in the UK illegally and as such not even eligible for legal migration in the future.
That criminal industry would soon fade away as the suspended sentences kicked in for those who try a second time and end up serving time elsewhere in the world for that crime. Plenty of inhospitable islands where they could be housed pending repatriation process arranged for them to go from shithole Island prison to former shithole home only this time with the threat of another suspened sentence double the size of the first should they be stupid enought to try a third time.
Maybe even in this imbeciles the penny might drop that they would be better served trying to improve their own countries rather than trying to denigrate ours.
I happen to live in an area where there has been migration from all over the world but in such small numbers for it to be not noticeable. A small population, little work, little future for youngsters and a haven of peace, tranquility and yes acceptance of the few who managed to find work and a future here from abroad (My wife amongst that number). They have settled, integrated and most appreciate what there is on offer here. Those who don't soon head back to the cities. In the last 12 months there has been a deluge of "Others" turning up. Mainly young and none born in the UK - it is a recipe for something we have seen happen elsewhere in more densely populated areas of the UK. I struggle to see anything positive in this sort of social engineering.

Maybe he sees the country for what it is presently but sees a different future evolving because of the perils he outlines - maybe, maybe, maybe. Unless you listen (and keep quiet until you have all the info) you'll never know what he really means, what he's fearful/hopeful of.
Of course once you've heard everything you may still have that stance but it will be built on having heard all the evidence as opposed to jumping to a conclusion (which may well be wrong).

Sure, there are plenty of decent hard working immigrants, but it has gotten to the stage where if you were to take the tube to somewhere like Barking or Upton Park you could take some photos and play "where in the World are we?" I am sensitive to first class arseholes as portrayed by their mode of thinking/talking but I don't really care what the colour of a person's pigmentation is. If I am deriding/denigrating someone who happens to be black then it's not because he/she is black but that he/she is a twat! Other may choos to see that differently - their choice but not my MO.
In total agreement with your gone on for far too long statement however.
If the indigens feel threatened (imagined or otherwise) then it is on the authority voted in by those indigens to recity it by any legal/moral means necessary. It is also on the indigens to hold those in authority to the fire and demand they get the protection they feel they need.
I live in a backwater. It is a bastion of peace, civiliity, security, tranquility in world gone or going hastily nuts.
We are seeing non-indigens in large numbers arriving here. There is no work, no wealth to draw them here so who/what is engineering it? They don't have the financial means to be able to move and exist in an area from which it would be difficult borderline impossible to finance their lifestyles so who is financing it?
Now that in itself is not overly alarming but don't throw stones at the locals because they are starting to notice things are changing and not necessarily to the positive. What is alarming is they are forming small groups in small areas - this does not promote any kind of meeting of anything other than suspicion (rigjhtly or wrongly) integration is all but non-existent and the barriers are not being put into place by the indigens who are a pretty friendly and accepting bunch of people.
I am not blind to the negatives of the huge influx of people from abroad who have no intention of integrating or enjoying this feistly beautiful little nation but appear hell bent on turning what we have into what they have just left. Subjugation is in the air!
We don't solve this issue with blunt blows to the cranium however. We have to listen to double what we issue as decrees or we end up making the wrong decisions for all of the wrong reasons and probably against the wrong groups of people.
They are not ALL welcome, they are not ALL of benevolent thinking/nature. We are ALL stupid if we try to convince ourselves otherwise.

My wife who is from that country agreed that life for us was far better in the UK so we (again all legally and above board) returned to the UK. I never once, anywhere in the world put my hand out for financial or other assistance, I have never asked and in fact in one instance refused it when it was offered. My wife and I did it all through our own efforts - every meal/bus ride/place to sleep we earned and paid for. We have needed charity for sure but never accepted or expected it and have done jobs from cleaning toilets, soldiering, police work, sales, security, executive - whatever it took and whatever was available in the job market at the time. I am now retired (happily and contentedly) in a place only a few dozen miles from the place I was born and it's here I will be buried. My wife loves it here and cannot see herself ever going back to her homeland apart from holidays. Our offspring, even though born abroad, have completely bought and thought British ways, have found their partner and had children who have no concept of anything other than, "Being British".
We owe nobody as much as a thank you. If we could not pay cash - we went without until we could. Nobody or no entity owes me anything, I have earned what little I am, "Entitled to". It grieves me this country is so foolish as to lay the bait to entice others (many of whom are unwelcome because they will only wish to dominate/subjugate us) and then we expend so much money and effort in trying to put right the damage that enticement/charity causes.
Put dog shit on a street and it will soon be surround with flies. Put what attracts humans on a street why be surprised when it's surrounded by humans?
The only real enemy we British have is our own countryfolk and our naive and stupid mode of thinking.
Come to my country legally or do not come at all should be the message.
      Thank you for your post.

There is exactly the problem - Those who come here to fill our needs or legally their own needs are more than welcome - in many cases we desperately need them (know of a country with 10k dentists willing to work for our government?) Outside of that narrow band of required persons we have no need for more mouths to feed, to house at all. Enough to keep the economy and the demographics in kilter and no more.
We have been a sponge for migrants for as far back as history has been writen (many of them unwanted I hasten to add) We are full, the numbers coming are not only overwhelming but so is their ethos. Religious head bangers we need not as few as one more. Blood cult members should not even be considered and if that is considered a form of prejudice, then so be it. I call it a form of protection and so should anyone with an IQ into double figures these blood cultists are not our friends/neighbours they are our future jailors/murderers/oppressors and this country had better wake up to the inevitable horror sooner rather than later.
