Might want to put a thin strip of painters tape down first (they sell them in different widths). That 3m adhesive can rip off your ceiling paint easily.
That 3m stuff rips off paint and whatever else is underneath 🙈 I used a small amount of it to hang my daughters baby monitor and it jacked up the wall.
@calebwhite6173 But if the concrete is painted, the rail will pull the paint layer off. You can drill into concrete, which is better than having to resurface the ceiling!
Awesome! I need to hang blackout curtains without holes because I’ve been trying since yesterday to put anchors and screws I. The wall and nothing is working to hang these curtains
I'd say this is more of a hack for people with extremely hard ceilings than for renters. This absolutely will damage your ceiling. However, if you have a ceiling that's very, very hard and can't be drilled with a regular drill, this is still a good hack, but only if you own the house/apartment and aren't worried about damage.

Thanks for this hack!
Hi is it called painters tape ? Thanks
Will the adhesion be limited by the tape?
Will it still stick well?

You're supposed to apply heat prior to removing (blow dryer)
No. Can’t be removed without damaging the finish of the ceiling
It’s far less damaging to drill a few tiny holes you can patch later than to rip off a strip of latex paint that will never stop peeling.
But it’s into concrete…
TRUTH!!!

Ty! Your short is the only one that I found that answered the biggest question I had..."how heavy can the curtains be?"

How do the hooks attach to the curtains?
Ikea had a similar double track for sheers and solid curtains.
Shelby, when you're standing on a ladder, miles in the air next to a glass window, NEVER lean back. 🎄🎅🏽
Isn’t it gonna damage your ceiling l?
Where did you get the curtains

DO NOT do this if you rent, it will destroy your ceiling pain and might get charged for repairs.
Looks great through :D
Thank you
Should have drilled, they sell concrete bits. And you would just run a standard mount
Or just standard concrete screws, in which you can hide after the fact with some filler
I love the view. ❤
this wouldn't work for my apartment i have the weird popcorn ceiling stuff
Amazing
This is for someone who doesn’t care about damaging the ceiling of a rental property

It’s gonna damage the wall ?
