Yeah, I agree that all remake movies are always just awful, in and of themselves, with no ability to stand on their own. _However_ . . . we can see in these comments that some kids did like it a great deal! 😀 So, I'd say it was not just a big waste, after all. 😃
Her parents did wrong by her..children don't belong in things she was put in after the little rascals movies. What is wrong with some parents? Why is money more important than the safety and well being of their children? That's one thing I could never understand!

TheNoiseySpectator I don't consider this 1990's Our Gang a classic at all. The acting is horrendous even by children standards. It feels like I'm watching an elementary play. The original series OTOH was awesome. Brings back fond memories.
Being another “Darla”, as a child in the late 60’s & 70’s, I was continually asked “Where’s Alfalfa?” And now, believe it or not, I have a white pitbull who has a black circle around his right eye, named….you guessed it…PETEY!! I suppose we were meant to be together! 🐶 👩 😂
The kids especially darla superr adorable.. But i felt disturbed when i watched some clips of the series, it was like kid romance.. Its just not appropriate to steal the innocense of children at that age.. There could have been another topic.. Something related to kids.
