Sometimes I really just need to hear that I need to open my bible and journal. I get so busy in life and put it on the back burner like it isn't a big deal, when it actually is so rewarding and helpful. Love you Sadie!!
I’m lukewarm in my relationship with Jesus and have been in danger of becoming cold (a fan instead of a follower) and it’s people like you that prove to me that Jesus is one of the key necessities to life and living and keep me from becoming just another fan in the crowd and supporter and instead a true believer and someone that hungers for a relationship with Jesus.
It's interesting you mention that, because my Church taught a series by the same name a few months ago. At the beginning of the year I was a big fan of God. I loved reaping the benefits that came from following him, and I acted like it was okay to act however I wanted, because God had me where I was for a reason. I didn't do anything too bad, but I wasn't living for him. Now I try to make God my driving force for everything. Of course I still have a lot of work to do. Point is if you're living as a fan instead of a follower, God will confront you over it and push you forward. I pray it will happen to you just as it happened for me.
Heyy!! I love the spread the word of Jesus Christ and I seen you used the word “lukewarm” and I just wanted to mention to you this scripture in revelation 3:16 it’s says “so, because you are lukewarm -neither Hot nor cold -I am about to spit you out of my mouth” and what this is saying is if your lukewarm then you need to be HOT for Jesus and I know at times it hard because we feel as if the lord is 100s of miles away but if we are On fire for Jesus and have faith in him and just trust in the lord nothing is impossible Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and remember there is always power in prayer and have the best day !!!
Sadie you are so inspiring to be. I suffered a traumatic brain injury 4 years ago and lost my relationship with god. Now, it’s stronger than ever. I am so extremely thankful for my brain injury because I am so much closer with god :)

So true Sadie! I liked the three questions you used to touch on our identity. We are who we are because of Christ; true identity lies in the Lord. Therefore, as Christians it is imperative that we do not allow our identity to be shaped or molded by the opinions of others, or the cares of the world. We must live a life that is approved by God, and in doing so, one that carries out the will of God; rather than a life that is approved by man and leads us on a path of destruction. Everyday I need to god in my life and friends are trying make me following them. I play sports and we prayer before the game and I will always remember that if we lose or win we will always praise god!
