    Love both quilts. Thinking the Mathemagical Quilt would be perfect for some toddler material I have, but thinking I need more than a picture to figure it out.     Thank you so much for your ideas. Details of the Mathemagical quilt would be great. I have grandchildren that are involved in several sports and the chandelier or mathematical quilts quilts would work out perfect.

      Thanks Ryan! The chandelier pattern has lots of potential for slight adjustments and I really like the smaller black accents in the most recent project. Can you imagine making really large squares?? These were 5 inches, but imagine something like 8 inches. Hummmm.....? Thanks for watching.

    I love that you're sewing with your mom! I would love to have a tutorial on the Mathmagical Quilt! I typically sew with scraps and adapt many patterns to use scraps and this looks like one that I can do over and over and have each one be unique!

      Hi Allie - This one was especially quick with two of us working together! I love the versatility of the pattern. Sometimes I make the centre blocks 4 inches, or 4.5 or 5 inches (in this case). Sometimes the smaller square are 1.5 (like my Walmart baby quilt) or 2 inches (in this case) or 2.5. Lots of possible combinations. Thanks for watching.

    You have some amazing Star Wars fabrics. Both quilts look great but the Mathemagical quilt is my favourite and would be good for lots of different fabrics. I’ve got some Japanese style fabrics that would be perfect for this pattern. I’d love a more in-depth tutorial for this quilt please. 🙏

    Lovely quilts, and yes please to a detailed tutorial on the ‘Mathemagical’ quilt. I’ve been trying to work out the block construction and placement ever since you posted the video about quilting the Blue Hawaii version. It’s an ideal pattern for using some larger prints which I don’t want to cut up too much.

    I love to see how the ‘random’ patterns and colors can cohesively come together into a beautiful quilt that does not make my brain cringe when I look at it- it is extremely pleasant to look at! Please give us more details! They look great.

      Thanks so much Jessica! I think one of the secrets is to have a bit of a "theme". In this case, it is Star Wars. But it would also work if your theme was Christmas, or spring garden, or halloween, or french provincial (blues, yellows and whites). Limiting the "scrappy" to a theme helps with cohesion, in my view. Thanks for watching.

    Hi Michelle! You've certainly been hard at work! I'd love to see a tutorial on the math magical quilt. Your "Blue Hawaii" quilt is gorgeous by the way! In our house, although of course we love Star Wars, my husband and I are actually bigger Star Trek fans. My daughter, however, was raised on Star Wars - the first movie came out when she was about 6 or 7 and she's been a die-hard fan ever since.
