You really think a Mahindra Thar is safer than a Wrangler? 😂😂. The Wrangler scored 1 Stars because it flipped during the small overlap crash test or else it performed decently in front offset and very good in side impact. The most recent test of Wrangler in IIHS proves it. Good in front overlap, good to moderate in side impact, good in roof strength, good in head restrains and seats and only bad in small overlap again since it flipped again. Happens due to solid axles in front. Thar wont score even a single Star as it lacks equipment like side airbags
Hey, It is not a copy, Both Jeep and Mahindra jointly produced vehicles in India back in the day, and after Jeep exited India Mahindra continued, this is the reason why 'Mahindra' and 'Jeep' grills and designs are very similar. However Jeep and Mahindra joint venture doesn't cover Australia and United States, hence it says 'Mahindra' cannot use the same 'Grill design' in these countries. These designs evolved in similar ways in different markets starting from same models. In fact in India we still call older Jeeps as "Mahindra Jeep".

I own Bolero/Contessa /Beat I like Bolero 2011 model. Power n acceleration altough top speed is modest does the job.... Bolero is a go anywhere fun to drive suv.... True offroad capabilities with just 2wd...it gives u a lot for what lil u invest..
One thing that u have missed about Bolero Classic is that it had a 2.5L engine (obviously manual). I personally own that one and its a beast to drive (yeah it lack AWD though). It costed me about AUD 19,500 (converted from INR) for the top spec model in 2016 in India. My brother owns a Thar (2.2L AWD) and a XUV700 (2.2L AWD) and those are amazing cars as well.
Well looks like someone really did their homework. The Bolero is a work horse. Its built more for reliability than for speed or for a matter of fact, comfort. Its more like the J70 Land cruiser, but smaller, both in size and engine. It wouldn't be a good fit in Australia though.

Please consider coming to India to test drive all Mahindra and Tata cars. You can start by enjoying the Cricket World Cup and then proceed to review all the cars produced by Tata and Mahindra. If you like my idea, please respond with 'yes'! 😄😄
I'm sorry brother, i think he's not interested 😂
We are looking into ways to make this happen 😉
okay so Mahindra apparently cant sell the Thar abroad because of its close resembelance to the Jeep. Mahindra and Jeep used to have an agreement that allowed Mahindra to copy the Jeep in India but not abroad. the other cars can be sold abroad and they are in some countries. Also fun fact! Mahindra owns Italian car design company Pinafarina and they helped with the designs of the new generation of Mahindra cars!
Tata nexon ev please!! India's best selling EV right now.
Most reliable among them is Bolero, in short it's land cruiser cj9 of India in all aspects even , it's government's favourite vehicle.
This video is there because of Carversal Pros😂🔥
5:25 I h😮 have been to that place Asia's 2nd highest cricket stadium

My first love
Pauri Garhwal , Uttarakhand, India
Fun fact thar got 5 stars in safety
Mahindra thar is not a copy of jeep wrangler . It is inspired by mahindra's own "MM540" which was launched back in 1998 , thar is a 3 door vehicle not a 5 door . Wrangler is 3 time the price of thar in india , in my opinion its overpriced .
99% audiance are Indian 😂
In a Bolero… you wont need to worry about occupant safety… the steel bumpers will probably be a problem to anything in front of it.
tata is definitely coming back but not with the these ones probably the new Nexon.EV ,CURVV EV , Harrier EV may be the Altroz and Punch ev too
and in 2025 with AVINYA and SIERA
2.09 bro add flying cars cheat code in real life

Hey, Just so you know Thar is not a copy of the Jeep Wrangler,
Mahindra has been making tough off-roaders for decades now and that starts with the Mahindra CJ-340 later renamed as Mahindra Major.
Hey bro come to India, Drive and review these vehicles and post your opinion.
Bolero is a crazy car. It's 2 wheel drive but can preform as well as any 4x4
Once you taste indian viewership....you can resist to make another
Just an update harrier is 120HP.. and after tune can make a 135HP..
OMG people want Indian cars in other countries? What dimension am I in?
Gandu dimension.
Maybe it’s just me?..
That is definitely saying something about how our brands have evolved
Hey one couple got Bajaj auto delivered to USA!
Single handedly dominated the Indian market for 10 years. Still selling strong even after 15-20 years. MAHINDRA BOLERO.
Ghurka 4x4 is a badass Indian version of Mercedes G-wagon
3:35 Tata & Mahindar Safest car Company in india for Build quality ❤🇮🇳🙏

Took bolero as one of the pick which is not even used by private vehicles in india but not one or two between Tata nexon ,Tiago ,punch, altroz
In India the xenon is called yodha pickup
TATA & Mahindra 🧡🤍💚
Jai Hind.. Jai Bharat 🇮🇳🇮🇳

I don't think so that Mahindra Thar is a copy of jeep Wrangler there is a huge difference between Jeep Wrangler and Mahindra Thar jeep Wrangler is slightly superior than Mahindra Jeep both vehicles look a little bit similar because both are based on same vehicle both have similar predecessors
🇮🇳🇦🇺🇮🇳🇦🇺🇮🇳🇦🇺
Mahindra mStallion petrol engines & mHawk diesel engines are very smooth and reliable. 🌏🚙
Classic scorpio you missed
I PERSONALLY GENUINELY and SERIOUSLY HATE, I mean I Absolutely HATE 3-Cylinder Engines to the extent that whenever I hear those particular words I immediately starts to feel sick & I about to start vomiting.
Checkout Tata Harrier and Tata Safari..
Your review of hyundai tucson was superb. Can we get a long term review now?
Yes you are right...... It's limited with some of it's models such as camper and one other.
But it's a practical vehicle and it will never disappoints in worst road condition
as indian but in britain i appreciate you all I hope australia gets those indian cars.
I bet the foreign market would be stunned once they see the new 2023 Tata Nexon. They've got three variants, i.e, Petrol, Diesel and EV
You should also mention mahindra thar ncap safety ratings with it. Which will surprise you in Comparison of jeep Wrangler.
You can also check out the latest Safari, its pretty much a bulkier 7 seater harrier but looks a lot better imo
In fact in India we still call older Jeeps as "Mahindra Jeep".
i and my family have all 4 cars from mahindra.
we love them
Yeah, Bolero looks old, but it's cheap price and reliable build makes it value for money car. Still date its very popular, especially in rural areas because of it's "all terrain" nature.
Australia's truly missing out on the Thar, I drive one in Ahmedabad, India. Had it for 18 months now, such a fun to drive & practically no maintenance. The petrol engine is unbelievably refined.
I own Bolero/Contessa /Beat I like Bolero 2011 model. Power n acceleration altough top speed is modest does the job.... Bolero is a go anywhere fun to drive suv.... True offroad capabilities with just 2wd...it gives u a lot for what lil u invest..
bolero is actually pretty fast in mid range accelerations
Wanna know about more cool Indian cars?
1. Tata Safari strome
2. Tata sumo
3. Force Gurkha
4. Mahindra Scorpio classic
5. Mahindra XUV 500
6. Tata hexa
You have to look into the
1)Tata Nexon 2023 facelift.
2) The Force Gurka 4×4 even has a Mercedes engine.
Sorry only 1.5l available now. 2.5l is old model
Bolero pick up is so cool i was travelling in himachal. Its travelled smoothly in snow dropped me nearby village
Have you seen Scorpio classic
Jaguar and land rover is the subsidiary of the TATA
Well looks like someone really did their homework. The Bolero is a work horse. Its built more for reliability than for speed or for a matter of fact, comfort. Its more like the J70 Land cruiser, but smaller, both in size and engine. It wouldn't be a good fit in Australia though.
