When doing this with Microsoft Forms, the content lays out perfectly when composing the email (it only works on webmail and not outlook for PC) but the email remains blank when the receiver gets it. Is there a workaround for this? Or does MS Forms not support this?
This is because you only inserted the code of the E-Mail-template inside the code that the browser displays . It is not actually there. You can do this with every website, for example you could change a newspaperarticle. It will look real until you refresh the page.

This did not work for me. I followed the steps and the HTML item showed up, however did not go through via email. The email was blank. What am I doing wrong?
Hey,
I will have to look into that. Did you try this process a few times and test from the receivers end?
@@StewartGauld I tried it about three times. I was attempting to embed a Google slide via the html embed code. Each time I emailed it to myself I received a blank email. Thank you for your help. 🙏
I had the same thing happen just now. Any updates or tips? Thank you!
You're a genius !
Thanks!
You are great, thanks a lot!
You're welcome!
very useful thanks
You are welcome
Hello, what do you do when you don't have the "inspect" command? And also my outlook version doesn't have the insert as text option. Please help
Hey Johanna,
What do you see instead?
ruclips.net/video/JSQMaAzUXC8/видео.html
Your instructions are wrong for PC because there is NO insert button with a dropdown... Its an OPEN button and attaches the HTML to the email it doesnt insert its content into the page.
Hey mate this video is the work around to find the INSERT button: ruclips.net/video/3XHx5YtR1r0/видео.html
Thanks for that mate.
how to use this with word mail merge?
Good question, I'll look into this.
Hi - when I copy the code and enter it as html, the images do not show back up in Outlook. It shows the outline of the email, and a image file icon where the images should be. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Hey Cody,
Make sure your image path is correct.
Hi Simon how do you save your html file? when I save I get both a html file and a images folder. So when I do as your video the images are missing in the mail.
Hey mate,
Things have changed slightly since this video. Updating this soon.
Yes please, many people are waiting on the update:) thank you for your help we appreciate you.
why does it appear some white lines in some of the past in outlook?
Hey mate, thats odd. Is that from the recipients end?
Hi and thx for this, yet both my outlook 2016 and 365 reply (PC VERSION) that I need to enable javascript, which IS enabled in the internet settings.... This may be an outlook thing I am reading on some forums, do you have any ideas to by pass the outlook bann of java?
Hi mate, not at the moment. I will have to look into this!
For some reason when I get up to the part where you are supposed to 'edit as HTML' it seems to freeze and I can't right click. My laptop then goes into overdrive.
Hey Pina,
I will have to look into this!
@@StewartGauld cheers! it happens to both Gmail and Outlook and I've try changing browsers also.
It's very useful video but I am not able to get properly because images in the template are missing can you tell me so tip
HI mate! Make sure that those images are on the website. Make sure to change the path of the image, which means put images in the server and add the full path of images in the code.
Thank you I will change the path and see and let you know @@StewartGauld
@@k.gsekar414 let me know how you go mate. Cheers!
Your methods for Microsoft doesn't work.
Attach file as plain text just pastes the plain html code.
Copy & Paste pastes the text but not the entire background, even if I use Ctrl+A to select all.
I don't want to be mad at you, but how can it be that such an old feature like... html-mails are still such a pain in the ass to create in Outlook.
Hey Sabastian,
There is another method, we are updating this shortly.
When doing this with Microsoft Forms, the content lays out perfectly when composing the email (it only works on webmail and not outlook for PC) but the email remains blank when the receiver gets it. Is there a workaround for this? Or does MS Forms not support this?
I will have to look into this mate.
This is because you only inserted the code of the E-Mail-template inside the code that the browser displays . It is not actually there. You can do this with every website, for example you could change a newspaperarticle. It will look real until you refresh the page.
I’m using Mac and it’s losing all of the formatting when I paste it in. Are there other ways to do this?
Hi Kari,
How did you create your campaign?
@@StewartGauld Hi Kari, I am facing the same issue. I have created in InDesign and run a script to get a HTML version. Loads up fine on web browser but doesn't format when you copy and paste.
It looks like it works, but the e-mail is received empty..
Hey Vesela,
What so you see in the receivers email?
@@StewartGauld So, before it's sent, it looks proper. But the person receives an empty e-mail. 🤔
Thanks Stuart 👦
Welcome!
Do you have to type the 999999? Isn’t there a more streamlined way to embed html to outlook live?
Hi mate,
This is just a place holder value. You can type anything.
@@StewartGauld You should use a number value. If you use letters html creates a which re-rendered my code after the fact.
Great!!! Thanks 👌
You're welcome!
Thank You!
Of course!
this no longer works, MS have blocked it...
Hey mate,
We will be updating this tutorial soon.
When I send it ,Dont work
What happened?
Hi, i had tried export my design into html, i got 3 internet link in some text and shape, its weird that not an single vector or text nor pictures were display in mail, anybody had it before ? Kinda stuck
Hi Richola,
That is odd. I will have to look into this.
I have the same issues. Some text and no links were copied.
Mine is not working...the most important link won't work
Hi mate! Did your template show up okay? Make sure links are not broken on the HTML file.
@@StewartGauld The link works fine when I open in a browser, but won't seem to work when I send through Outlook. I've gone through my code a million times and all the social links work except for the link to the survey. I'm pretty lost.
u r awesome!
Thanks!
HERE'S A COOKIE FOR YOUUUU THANK YOU~~~~~~
Thanks!
Is there any way you could do this but with a word doc? Thanks!
Hi mate! I will look into this.
