6 ARC IS THE BEST AR guns out there. I have a 18" and a 12.5" both are so awesome! 6mm ARC cartridge is above and beyond, far superior in comparison to the 5.56 .
When you open with "Is it worth it to build a 12 inch six Arc as far as performance goes" a reasonable person would expect you to spend the majority of the video talking about performance of a 6 ARC in a 12in barrel. Instead you spent 19min talking about everything but performance, and that makes for a frustrating video.
6mm arc is just another failed attempt to dethrone 6.5 grendel. 6.8 spc, 224 valk, 300 blk, 6 arc. All tried yet none beat it. The 129gr eld beat any other ar15 cartridge in distance, and not to mention greater muzzle energy, wider bullet, more expansion, heavier. Uses the eame mags, same capacity. Easily reloadable, and works amazingly in short barrels
10 years ago Noveske was manufacturing a solid rifle. Now they are all about gimmicks and marketing with rifles like the “ghetto blaster”. I wish Noveske continued to manufacture quality the way LaRue has over the years. I would never want a Noveske manufactured today.
Waste of time and money. I would just have a 5.56 instead because it's proven in short barrel. AR15 isn't the most accurate rifle to start with. That being said, you can build one to moa. If I'm hunting or want a longer range with the AR15, I'm going with a 20 to 22in barrel. I like the 22arc, 6arc, and 6max, but 223/556 are proven especially in short barrel.
12" High Performance Intermediate cartridge AR-15 carbines are currently the pinnacle of AR-15 evolution. They easily exceed the performance of 20" 5.56 rifles in a shorter, lighter, more compact package.

Looking for more grain ammo?
What lpvo is it?
Vortex AMG 1-10x24. Its kinda hard to find anything about it really
how can we get that 1-10
I've run 1,000 rounds through my 14.5 noveske 6arc and my 12.5 noveske 6 arc and the difference is about 100 fps slower in my 12.5 vs my 14.5. With 108 eldm factory ammo. Both shoot lights out and you guys are sleeping on BRT gas tubes. Especially on 6arc
Sell me on it!
don't have it on arc but on shorty builds - doesn't fail, doesn't carbon lock. probably more expensive than a reduced opening gas tube should be but it's a simpler cheaper way to reduce gas on an overgassed rifle.
@@penn9363 only down fall I see is being locked in on a certain size at that price point. Where as you do have the option of adjusting on gas block. I’m familiar with the company, not t&e practices though. So price could be justified if the amount of testing reflects when allowing them to select the size. That said, I’d still prefer an adjustable gas block. In particular the ability for bleed off.
I'm using Bootleg adjustable gas carriers on all my short barrel CLGS & PLGS suppressed blasters.
Been using it on 2x 12" Grendels I built in 2017, both with high efficiency TBAC cans. Both have been running great since 2017 on fully-suppressed position, using extra power action springs.
I'm also liking what I'm seeing from RifleSpeed 12 position blocks with the extended cylinder mechanical advantage.
@@LRRPFco52 I bought bootleg for all my 6 arc builds but due to the BRT gas tubes Im running I have never had to adjust any of the carriers. I'm running Huxwrx Flow 6k cans on both builds.
And registration is a warrantless search by AFT, waiting to happen. You NFA guys call it an inspection though, right?
6mm MAX seems better suited for a barrel length like 12.5”
I would like to see you do a build with the dealt team tactical 18 inch 6 arc barrel it's 99 bucks out the door I think a as low buck 6 arc build would be really cool and I think people would really like to see that because for us on a budget and wanting to know the cheapest way to get into a 1 moa 6 arc with only about 300 to 400 in a upper
I’m looking into that currently. Trying decide exactly what direction I wanna go with it.
What optic is that?
Its a .gov sales only smaller footprint version of the Vortex 1-10. I believe they're calling that one the AMG 1-10. They realeased a small number of them that came as a package with a DD rifle of some sort for the low low price of $6k. They went fast, and Vortex claims they wont be releasing any more.
Badass
Just not gonna throw the optic into parts list lol
“Negative benefits”…I think those are called consequences lol
6 ARC IS THE BEST AR guns out there. I have a 18" and a 12.5" both are so awesome! 6mm ARC cartridge is above and beyond, far superior in comparison to the 5.56 .
Looks like geissele inspired handguard. Looks like my DRT handguard. Watched further…
👍
American Russell Crowe
😂
Did anyone else notice the gap between the upper receiver & the hand guard?
When I pointed it out?
If i could get a 600yds at 1moa with open tip ammo, i would never leave...until somone garantees a half moa at 600yds
Magpul - best bipod?!? Confirmation this is a paid program.
😂
Is this backed by real world data , hands on or just hear say?
Don’t get upset, I’m just curious.
Thank a simeauto as bolt action u will shoot better.
Huh?
@@txpredatorhuntingmaybe he was meaning to run your semi auto as a bolt action, aka turn the gas off?
For me, as a European, it still seems odd; 'a riffle for Your children.'?!??
Whats wrong with children being capable and proficient with the firearm teaching them weapons safety instead of being ignorant like you, Europeans
Are you serious? Kidding joking?
Im generally joking around , but fairly serious. 😂
The bell is awful please never do that again lol
what a silly gun
Why?
12" High Performance Intermediate cartridge AR-15 carbines are currently the pinnacle of AR-15 evolution. They easily exceed the performance of 20" 5.56 rifles in a shorter, lighter, more compact package.
Bet you’re an M1A guy
Love the video bro. You also look like the son of Ron Swanson.
cant wait to see what you think of the CAT stuff vs huxworks. suppressors. Dont care for their cringe style marketing but interested in the actual performance.
Waiting patiently for some to arrive.
