Ballistics advantage 416r ss barrels are my favorite.
Do they make a suppressor for around 40 to 50 bucks? If not I would rather get some ear plugs and shoot the gun. Just saying! Them bitches are to damn expensive. 👍🏻👍🏻😁
Looks good, I built a 11.3" 300 HAMR for the same purpose. Stops at about 300y for me too with 125g bullets.
Proof research also has great customer service.
Giddy up. Keep up with the cool shit

How to figure energy. Velocity x velocity x weight of projectile divided by “450,240” should get you close to figuring energy for your load “ for poors that can’t afford nice chronographs” like me 😮💨😂 maybe this might help someone.
Great dudes Keep It up bud
FYI "Cage" = Kinetic Development Group Optics Hub Scope Housing
Are you having cycling issues? Was told cause of the problem is the adjustable gas block. I have same set up.
Is that case that the Leupold is in (not the cage) the factory Leupold cover? It looks different than mine…and I am needing a new protective cover but am not finding any options….any idea where to source one?
Why don’t you measure group sizes the proper way? Center to center. MOA. It translates to further distances. Outside to outside is ridiculous. Do it the correct way. You will decide to one day eventually anyway so why not now. Then we don’t have to sit and listen every time you talk about groups how you measure outside to outside blah blah blah. Then we will all feel good instead of feeling like yeah idk about this wade guy with some of the things he says makes me question everything he says
😂 A good group is a good group. It’s irrelevant how you measure it to me.
Wade, it would be nice if hornady made lighter grain vt bullets, but they won't bc then they would fit in "legacy" cartridges. Is the 62 too long to load in .223 or 22-250? Will the 80 load in .243? Is that correct? I dont load so idk for sure..
I haven’t taken a look at 250 yet, so unsure on that one. 223 if you make some for bolt guns it may work. Past that not so much. Unsure on 243 . I know why they chose what they did for modern cartridges and chamber specs etc. But, there’s nothing stopping them from going lighter even if it’s for the newer cartridge designs. But, it’s always easy to say stuff from the sidelines. I’m sure they had good reason for the ones they chose.
@@txpredatorhunting yeah obviously they want ALL the bc they can, but a stretched 65 grain vt 6arc would be a wild one like ya said!
Have you heard of Shaw Barrels?
Yep, may even have one or two. I can’t recall.
I think the 80 Grain ELDVT is too heavy for the arc an varmints... if they had a 60gr for the 6arc that would be 🔥
Then you need a .22 ARC. In my bolt gun I use A2200 with a 58 vmax for 3550 and 65 vmax with n133 in gas gun
Yea, I think they just did that out of ease potentially. And of course that’s just speculation. I’d be down for a high bc 60-65 gr pill for the arc.
Like that there's a channel that's not all tacticool and yelling about how you need to do the latest gay PRS fad. Who tf cares what your 23rd group size is while your bf is giving you a wedgie and you're shooting of a kayake on your "over lander" Toyota.
😂
Any kills with the 62 eldvt. Curious on performance
Yes in the 22 creed , love it . Haven’t gotten the 22 arc out yet though. Other things take precedence over factory ammo in the testing priorities. But, soon .
I see Huxwork supressors on all the ARs. Are they worth it? Are they cleaner than “normal” supressors?
He did a short video on the hux flow cans.
Yes , now testing cat Noah and like it as well. Modern flow through cans are the way for semi autos.
I want to know what Wade's favorite single shot rifle are.
Have only ever had cva in the single shot flavor. They’ve all shot well.
@@txpredatorhunting I've heard lots of good things about the CVA. In KY to hunt coyotes at night with a rifle you have to use a breech loading single shot rifle. Not near as fun as y'all have it down in Texas.
@@kbowen2251 strange rule .
Just finishing out 3 builds, all AR-15 platform, all 22 arc, all Proof barrels. One in 22”, one in 18” and one 16”. Your video here gives me high hopes of how good they’ll be!
Keep us posted . Always like to hear others experiences.
Very nicely done. Keep your podcast going.
Appreciate it.
Fitz has got hella PTO 😮
lol, podcast was never his full time job. Nor is it mine .
When do they start talking about the rifle?
I love my 22 arc shoots great!!
💯
For the algorithm
Much appreciated!
Wouldn’t let me reply to your comment, the rifle is clean. the parameters are pretty close to the same as the last time I shot factory ammo just different lot numbers. I hand load and have never pierced or flattened a primer until the other day..makes me a little nervous tbh. I wouldn’t think the seating depth would change that much from lot to lot maybe touching the lands 🤷♂️causing a pressure spike. idk imma have to do more investigating when I get back in town.
Keep us posted .
My 6 MAX ARC is goin 9000fps with 230grn lead copper micro film tip bullets and it feeds on 22 ARC’s for extra BC.
Mega max!
❤️🔥🍒😎🇺🇸
Should do the 22-250 in an AR platform vs the arc. That way you can shit on the AR10 at the same time for all the people that said the 22arc doesn't matter because there is 22-250 AR's. Always gets me how many people think there isn't any difference between AR15/10
I know its not the same but 22 creed is more interesting. Ones gas, ones bolt i know
Big difference, and we’ve covered the 22 creed a fair amount. And I’m big fan of it.
23:26 to actually hear the findings
I had terrible ejector marks on my 6ARC cases with a Faxon BCG that I initially ran. There was actually brass build up around the ejector hole after a couple rounds, probably raised about .005"-.008". I changed to the bolt provided by Shilen with the rifle barrel and I had no issues with ejector damage. I had Faxon replace the bolt and it had the same ejector damage. The only difference I found between the Faxon and Shilen bolts was the size of the ejector hole. The Shilen bolt had .001" clearance between the ejector and the ejector hole and the Faxon bolt had .005' clearance.
Interesting, and good data point.
Typical Hornady bullshitting consumers with the velocity they claim. They said 3300 f/ps from a 18” barrel your test didn’t produce anything close to that. My 18” proof carbon barrel and 58 grain Vmax chronographs 3410 f/ps it’s laser flat and sounds like firecracker goin off when it hits a coyote.
Hornady website says 3300 from a 24” barrel on the 62’s.
@@txpredatorhunting I heard the podcast they said the arc family of cartridges was developed around 18” barrels
@@Pew_pewchronicles 6 arc was correct, naturally you’d assume same would apply to 22 arc , but that remains to be seen by myself. Still needs more testing. Based on factory ammo I’d treat it like 6 arc with tuning and gas system lengths etc. That said , generally most these manufacturers will publish velocity data based on 24” barrels. Some times 26” on big boys. That’s why we try to post our data with multiple barrel lengths. Seems more honest to me. Even though there’s so many variables to consider from there barrel fixtures to your rifle its hard to even worry about factory velocities. The real question is , do they only produce those 24” numbers to make it look as good as possible or is that some outdated standard based on barrel lengths they get for barrel fixtures.
The.22 ARC gas gun is rated with a 24”, the 6 ARC is 18”
@@Patrick-xd8jv what a joke would you run a 24 inch AR 15?
First minute in comment… what does hitting the bell icon do for you? Wade talk “I’ll preface this with” lol, all it does for me is guarantee that I will have your channel deleted from my watch list! Ever since I quit hitting it bell icon I haven’t lost any of my subscribed channels… Also wade talk “just sayin”😂
Interesting, I’m gonna have to check that out.
With the new factory 6mm arc ammo white box I’m getting flat primers! Idk what hornady is doing, used to not be like that!
What temps did you last get and shoot said ammo as compared to now? And have you cleaned your rifle lately? No saying something hasn’t changed, but curious.
wade how do you think it would perform from like a 14.5 with say a 53 grain vmax for 200 and in run an gun coyoteing ?
Think that’ll be money myslef , I will certainly own one soon as I can .
I’ve never owned or shot off of a magpul bipod but they suck.
😂
Try duct taping two of them together and using it but make sure to be near the equator for best results. Density altitude is key.
For the algorithm!
💯
I’m looking for information is it worth turning rem700 223 rem into 6 arc or would it be better just to by a new rifle
Anyone else see comments with replies and click on them? And don’t see the reply? Sucks when someone has a good question or interesting idea.
Yes and it drives me nuts lol
It’s dumb, you have to cycle between top and newest comments to get them, then there’s comments we don’t even see.
Yep same here
It’s possibly bot replies or trolls after deleting. It’s not just here that it’s happening
DANG yall are futuristic with these ARC cartrages , 6.5 creedmoor coming out soon by me
gun stores are heavy on tactical! 2 dusty 308 bolt actions in corner . NO shooting bags, didn't even know what there for! super deprived in NW INDIANA
@@BOOMHOUR1there’s places like that everywhere. Great discussion topic for a future podcast.
For a dedicated coyote bolt gun, 22 arc or 22 creed? I shoot suppressed and reload
Both would be legit , but the 22 creed will outperform with shorter barrel life . Which is obvious. So I’d say, if you want a longer range capable bolt gun go 22 creed . If your average shot is say 300 and in the 22 arc will be great . 300 and put the 22 creed .
enjoy your shows
Thanks for watching!
The brace thing was bullshit from the get go. Listening to those ass holes go on about it shows how incompetent clowns in dc are. If they really wanted to generate some quick revenue, put machineguns back on the menu. Those things would be out of stock for the next 10 years and generate hundreds of billions of dollars in tax stamps. Id buy every single one i saw and form 1 my current ARs
Im curious about bolt life on those and look forward to hearing how they hold up.
So far everything is doing well. Which is why we are working on the device to see failure points.
Let’s F****** Goooo!
💯
Your voice is annoying and your face looks stupid… bring back fitzy!!! you’re welcome for my comment ❤
😂 you don’t believe those lies , and I didn’t take him away .
When you do the 22/250 do a fast twist with a slow twist 22/250
Why? And define fast twist?
