The chassis from GAP is 1500, trigger is a few hundred. Add another 1k to have them go ahead and tune the brake, lighten it up with titanium bolt knobs, and balance it so it handles as well. Or you could just buy it without any headache, ship it to your ffl, and hunt with it.

An individual with two or three seasons of field experience making recommendations to the community is beyond me but says enough. The old draw of being "prostaff" is suckering some folks, and is sad to see.

17:03… as another “above average” shooter I completely disagree about your take on the cold bore shot. Sure a cold shooter in an average shooter is the larger culprit. But not in a seasoned shooter who dry fires before that cold bore and consistently sees a poi shift of about 1/2”. Cold bore shot can also just be logically proven with physics. A cold bore and chamber is going to create different pressures than a hot one. Can the average shooter (or once a year deer hunter) notice this cold bore shot? Most likely not. If I’m reaching out past 500 yards with a cold bore, I’m definitely aware of it.

I think the main issue is people don’t practice and it shows
