Not a fan about them turning dragons den into shark tank 😂. The reason i like both variants is because one is laid back and colorful and the other more serious and gritty looking.
Agreed. This was shark tank vibes and they’re telling the dragons to essentially up sale. Not a fan. I hate shark tank. I want British dd. Will have to stop watching if they go full woke style American
We had a similar product in Ireland for a few months if I recall. The popular Irish crisp Tayto in a chocolate bar form. Don’t think it went down well with the public so it was discontinued. I loved it however
It is an absolute winning combination. The problem is £4.99 is just too high, it's better to buy a bar or dairy milk for £2 and a packet of crisps for £1 and shove them both in your mouth at the same time. You also get to try an infinite amount of chocolate to crisp combinations then as well, rather than the three on offer.
its been available for years and in a superior presentation to hers, there are even cheaper copycats in Asia, though I believe there is not vinegar or cheese flavour in the chips so she did do something "new".
@@blessedpapa still not new because there is a scottish one of these that failed that did have salt and vinegar and cheese and onion flavours (they are common english flavours)
I'm with Steven on this. I can't say that it appeals. There again, when I was growing up, as with many Welsh farm households at the time, a 3pm break whilst making hay often consisted of a cup of tea or barley water with jelly and ice cream and buttered sliced bread. On different plates, but typically simultaneously eaten together. I never understood the concept and would first eat the buttered bread, before eating the jelly and ice cream. This chocolate and crisps combination just reminds me of that weird summertime break time snack.
I tried chocolate and chips more than a decacade ago in Japan as a souvenir. The famous Japanese chocolate brand called Royce sells chips completely covered in Chocolate. I just bought them once out of curiosity, not my thing.
Yeah, put it on his channel, so he sees it. That's what everyone else does. Yeah, You're right, but I think some of it comes to being a. Big heade since he made these millions at a young age, so he thinks it's above everyone else. And knows everything
I think he is trying to play the role of the dragon rather than this being his actual personality. I thik he feels insecure about his age and is overcompensating for that by being extra vocal. I think in a few years he will look back and cringe at these clips.
he didn't make any enemies here and hes actually very friendly with peter. what about this episode made you think hes clueless? because he didn't like a crisps chocolate bar??
This is an excellent product. The packaging is top quality, the chocolate is also top quality and the subtle blend of the flavours with the added texture of the crisps makes for the ultimate combination. I just bought the ready salted version and it's amazing. I highly recommend trying this out! (No I don't have anything to gain from saying this, I'm just a fan!)
We found them in the clearance section in a local garden centre for £2.50 and decided to try one. We wouldn't pay £2.50 for them again, let alone £4.99. The texture was too crumbly (the bar was in pieces by the time we got home and it was only in my handbag) and I expected to taste potato crisps, but didn't. The salt & vinegar flavour came through, but it was strange-weird, not interesting-weird, even though we both LIKE weird combos. :(
150% with steven on this, its grim and its better to enjoy some crisps and then some chocolate. i would be convinced she was a nutcase if the other dragons didnt all back her so hard
Omg me and my cousin used to eat mini cheddars dipped in melted chocolate as kids can't believe we could have invented this lol but actual crisps seem a bit much lol and yes Peter i also get chocolate sweats 😂 someone finally gets it 😂😂
My comment may seem naive, could I just not purchase a slab of chocolate and a bag of crisps and mix together before eating ? What is is point of this product?
The fact she said did research and found nothing she must have been doing it with her eyes closed as its been done years ago here in the uk and they even re-released it just a year or so ago 😂 it was literally a couple of quid too so cheaper than hers.
So this company isn't a manufacturer - the manufacturing is outsourced. It's not inventing the chocolate with crisps today, they've already been invented yesterday. So what does the business actually DO? Where does it sit in the value chain? No-one ever seems to tell us on this show.
WE HAVE CHOCOLAT3E COVERED CRISPS (WE CALL THEM CHIPS, LOL) AND THEY ARE SURPRISINGLY GOOD AND OMG I HONESTLY THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD WHO LOVED CHIPS AND ICE CREAM :)
Want to go really naughty? Home fried chips 🍟 and melted chocolate no salt and vinegar. Befor you mock it try it. Had it in 🇮🇹 been making it at 🇬🇧 ever since 😊 Thank me later
I'm with Steven. I mean, yeah you might be able to turn a bit of a profit on it at first, but the gimmick of it will die out fast. Plus, 1) It's no different than eating a bar of chocolate and a bag of crisps at the same time (and anyone you see doing that you'd consider to be a right lard arse). 2) Isn't there enough sugary, fatty crap out there causing diabetes and obesity levels to skyrocket without this woman throwing her two pence in.
I'm genuinely surprised at the claim that there was nothing like chocolate with crisps on the market?? There like 10 variants with different kinds of krisps and flavours where i live even in the very low end brands this is actually so shocking to hear
The combination of chocolate and crisps triggers the tast buds to the optimum. I think you should stick to your guns and keep it as a snack. I could see it at the side of say pot noodles or biscuits on the supermarket shelf. It is convenient because it saves buying a large quantity of crisps plus the bar of chocolaite. I could see also it for sale at filling station shops. I certainly don't agree that its worth making it into a upmarket premium or gifting product thing. Stick to your guns. Maybe you could get the price down by making your own crisps.
isn't chocolate flavoured crisps the same as chocolate with crisps inside it? yet the woman pitching said chocolate flavoured crisps would be bonkers?? Same thing in my opinion mashed together.
Firstly, this was wrongly pitched! if she got the pricing a lot lower she could have pitched it as the next meal deal replacement snack coz that is where the opportunity lies. SHE JUST NEEDED TO SOLVE THAT AND SHE'D BE A BILLIONAIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¬!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a lost opportunity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohhhhh Mr Peter! How can you lead this poor lady on like that? That is just not right, sir! 😥
I love a crisp & chocolate combo, I will definitely be looking into this snack 🔥🔥🔥🔥
