Sugars and refined carbs (esp. absent fibre / fiber) do not, and the body burns them quickly so one needs to eat again, and converts the excess to fat so one gets obese, and creates insulin spikes so one gets diabetes, and they burn holes in the arteries so one gets arterial plaque and heart disease, and burn (oxidise) the joints so one gets arthritis, the list goes on. Bit of advice for people in UK and Ireland, if you've a sweet tooth and want to try something like this, Aldi and Lidl stock 'Healthy & Co.' bars, which are 'no added sugar' and 'contain no palm oil', and they also sell a vegan chocolate brand too.
No added sugar doesn't mean no sugar, this bar is for people on keto and paleo diets but it's unlikely that the Healthy & Co bars could be part of those eating regimes. Good to know though.
@@TheFakeyCakeMaker it definitely doesn't mean no sugar, but it's just a better alternative in terms of sugar content than say, Cadburys for example. (8g sugar in a 100g Healthy Co bar vs 25g Sugar in just one 45g Cadburys Dairymilk bar.) It may not suit paleo, but it does suit diabetics.
I’ve actually had some of the caramel and silk(plain) versions of this chocolate. It’s of a very decent quality and it’s almost hard to tell the difference in taste to normal chocolate. I’m not a huge fan of caramel chocolates but this one was subtle enough that I preferred it to the silk version. I still miss my old favourite galaxy chocolate, but this is quite lovely as a lactose free alternative. The chocolate does contain ingredients that have a laxative effect though (as said on the box) which is my only fault with these. I imagine it’s also easier to avoid over eating them, since I’ve personally eaten one to two segments of a bar at intervals and the chocolate is rich enough (especially with an almost dark chocolate aftertaste) that you don’t feel like eating much more than that at a time. I’m shocked the dragon managed it! Can’t really talk for the weight loss side, since my weight has been fluctuating a bit since I’ve had to drop a lot of my old favourite foods, but at the least I’d reckon it’s a more filling and healthier alternative to normal chocolate.
Hope so. Not just for stores which have a higher price point such as Waitrose or Harrods but for ASDA, Sainsbury's, Tesco that can all sell this chocolate. Deborah was right, the chocolate just has to be good and people will then latch onto "Oh it's just 4% sugar too." Recognition is a good start and then price may go up.

"Let me tell you where I am"
"I'm sitting in this chair"
I'm so happy BBC is getting with the times and posting full clips!
Being allergic to milk and spending my life not able to eat things like chocolate, that everyone else was eating, I would LOVE to see these in shops.
Peter Jones is a kind and lovely guy. I really like the way he treats other people. 😊
5 minutes of Dragons stuffing their face with chocolate...
Dragons don't eat chocolate they eat gold and treasure.
I am happy for the first guy Steven. My kids love chocolates, wish him a good luck and hope to see his bars in shops if it’s already not there.
I actually thought Debra was going to request 15%. But Peter played this one better. I'm learning a lot watching these negotiations. 😁
These I’m out jokes are quality entertainment 😂
Now that you are happy, I’m out.
I don't see the appeal...IM OUT
No it was better when it was im OOT
Sara just keeps eating the chocolate, bless her soul.
"fat is essential for the body" and Sara starts nodding.
Theo: "Steven, let me tell you where I am. So, I'm sitting in this chair..... "
...Yeah, I think he worked that one out, Theo.
“You’re not stuffing your gullet”...pans to Peter
Jenny: Im out but Id like a free chocolate
That was brutal on the edit, cutting to Sara after the 'fat' being good and her agreeing.
Maybe the laxative effect is what helps with the weight loss claim
You know your product is good when Peter offers deal without pointing out any faults.
It's just a great show isn't it.
Guy is British Don Draper. He creates an emotional bond with the product. Thank you for your time.
I watched one video of this and now I can't get it off of my recommended!
Same. But now I love watching these xd
Great episode. I personally would’ve tried to get Peter and Tej at 10% each. What an insane combo that would be.
It's so weird how they're all horrible one episode and lovely the next (like this one)
Oswald Mosley's legacy continues in the dragons den yt comments section
@@JR-hi9bu Sir Oswald's legacy will continue as long as Britain endures (which won't be long at this rate)
@@TomorrowWeLive do you think it's alright for an Englishman to live in another European country?
@@JR-hi9bu of course, why wouldn't it be?
‘Well meaning relatives.’ I’d bloody hope so🤣🤣
This will become so biggg!
Hope so. Not just for stores which have a higher price point such as Waitrose or Harrods but for ASDA, Sainsbury's, Tesco that can all sell this chocolate. Deborah was right, the chocolate just has to be good and people will then latch onto "Oh it's just 4% sugar too."
Recognition is a good start and then price may go up.
That's what she said.
@@FlyboyHelosim Sure did.
A year down the line and I haven’t seen it in Waitrose yet
@@Sam-qh1sh it has been, there making huge profits as we are family friends with Steven and the conways
Jenny when she leaves her house:
*I’m no longer in my house and for that reason I’m out.*
"This chocolate tastes awesome and has only 4 grams of sugar. Wow! And... I'm out" - Jenny
"Have your water, have your Chocolate..." 😂
He slipped up, he should’ve went with the health tycoon!!
My dad saw this online and got me two boxes as a birthday present before leaving for Senegal. Those chocolates are to die for 🤤
