I am a plush maker! It makes me so happy to be able to make people’s dreams literally come true by bringing their oc or favorite character to life. And of course it has its perks as I can do the same for myself c; thanks so much for appreciating it as the art form that it is! Too many people get up in arms about why custom plushies are often priced so much. I always try to keep mine as low as possible but they still end up pretty expensive.
What I would get from the different creators if I had the money: Nazegoreng: I would love to get a huge plushie of my friend's fursona so I could hug him every night even though he's not really there. Aside from wanting a plush my weaselly self, I REALLY want a plush of Duke Weaselton. This guy has nearly 0 merch (Apart from a nice t-shirt I found which doesn't come in my size) and I want my weasel dreamboat to snuggle whenever I want.
It's interesting to see that so many plushie makers also have made ponies from MLP. In terms of fursuit makers, only very few make equine - let alone MLP - costumes. I guess there is a huge difference in demand between furries and bronies. (I see bronies as furry subculture, though.) Bronies seem to prefer something to cuddle with and spend time with - instead of impersonating and performing a character - as they are more likely to seek for an existing character rather than their OC. But it is always hard to find an official licensed plushie maker which offers high quality. They are very rare but existent. If they are existent, then their product line is very limited. On the other hand, if you have your average furry, they have their proper characters. They are more likely to impersonate them rather than having a friend to cuddle and be together with - especially when it's their persona/fursona/ponysona I guess. And how do you impersonate them best? Fursuits, role-play, virtual reality. I think both are awesome. Plushies and fursuits. As plushies are seemingly more popular to bronies than to the average furry, it is worth a shot to look for MLP plushie maker, their galleries often feature some non-MLP plushies. I guess it works also the other way around. I could imagine that your best bet to get a MLP fursuit is to look for a good fursuit maker which has already done more realistic equine suits.
i know that im 2 years late but, ive always wanted all of the eeveelutions as plushies and some of my ocs and meh pokesona, thank you for showing me these plushie makers! i might comission them someday, if they are still open for comissions, and if i have the money ofc. :p
I have always wanted my fursuit as a plush cause it’s my favorite animal and when I’m on a trip and I can’t Bring her I can still snuggle with her and she’s SO FULFY!

Piquipauparro is a favorite of mine (they have an AMAZING realistic Toothless plush they've made), they're also a needle felter! Another absolutely fantastic most amazing needle felter this world has ever seen is ZimtBeadwork. Holy wow the absolute detail put into their dolls! It'd be so amazing to see a couple lists focused on needle felt and art dolls, and maybe a plush makers pt 2. I absolutely love plush and doll makers, I love to see fursonas come to life in such great detail and to be able to actually hold them in your hands.
Personally I find a plushie to be more practical than a fursuit since I'd go to a con maybe a few times a year. But with a plushie, I can always snuggle with my fursona, whenever. Also, seeing them looking up at me from my desk makes me smile.
If I had the money to commission a plush or prop, I would commission: Daiku for a full moon plush prop with an adorable little smile. You know the ones. The beady black eyes and tiny smile. Adamar44 for plushies of my 2 main fursonas, Luna and Kage.

I sew everything by hand and it super strong. So that handsewding can some times be stronger and hold longer than a sewingmachine :p but a good sewing machine is good too I prefer handsewing :)😊 *hugs* your amazing

I once mentioned a fondness for playing with toys, and when my class suggested action figures, I replied that stuffed animals and soft toys are more my speed. (I prefer soft toys, preferably homemade ones that I've designed. also, this conversation was when I was in one of my later high school years, but I've love plush toys for years.)

im a plushie maker too, I haven't done very many but im very happy with how the ones ive done have turned out, like I didn't like any alolan vulpix plushies I found so I made my own and its super cute! (still have my first plush though, its a terrible bat I made for my mom but she still sleeps with it every night she loves it and wont let me make her another one)
My fursona is a cat plushie so I’m definitely looking to commission a plushie of them sometime in the future! My only problem’is that I haven’t seen any maker that offer the kind of plush I’m looking for: the kind of soft plush for children that are very soft and can move around a whole bunch, with these sort of weighted paws. I’ve never seen anyone offer these types of commission so I guess they’re harder to make? Or maybe there just isn’t enough demand. Either way I’m still looking for the maker who can bring Cobalt to life!

Remember, they’re a company that works with _plushies._ Don’t send them refs used for art, make or commission a plush-friendly ref!

I once mentioned a fondness for playing with toys, and when my class suggested action figures, I replied that stuffed animals and soft toys are more my speed. (I prefer soft toys, preferably homemade ones that I've designed. also, this conversation was when I was in one of my later high school years, but I've love plush toys for years.)
Ahh I LOVE Scragster! I have 2 pieces of art work from them (clock and pokedoll) I found them when looking at plush makers, I super want a poseable doll with an outfit of my Feline Sona.
I Also LOVE Nazegoreng and want my Wickerbeast or Ponysona made by them!
If I had any sewing skills at all, I would open a business making life-size Pokemon plushies. Like, the plushie would be the IRL size.
There are a few characters that I would like a plush of. The universes include fnaf, mc, mlp, skylanders, and of course my oc's.

I have made stuffed toys, including plushies, with my Grandmother, and the best part, is we get our creations for signifigantly cheaper than commissioning. though I still might do that someday....

im a plushie maker too, I haven't done very many but im very happy with how the ones ive done have turned out, like I didn't like any alolan vulpix plushies I found so I made my own and its super cute! (still have my first plush though, its a terrible bat I made for my mom but she still sleeps with it every night she loves it and wont let me make her another one)
My fursona is a cat plushie so I’m definitely looking to commission a plushie of them sometime in the future! My only problem’is that I haven’t seen any maker that offer the kind of plush I’m looking for: the kind of soft plush for children that are very soft and can move around a whole bunch, with these sort of weighted paws.
I’ve never seen anyone offer these types of commission so I guess they’re harder to make? Or maybe there just isn’t enough demand. Either way I’m still looking for the maker who can bring Cobalt to life!
