Are you sure about that? Because he said the first coordinate was South, and I'm pretty sure Russia is in the Northern hemisphere. When I checked, it was located somewhere South between Australia and Argentina.
Aeons of Blight that wouldn't change the coordinates though. It's the same idea with true north and such, we give them value and just because of a shift in polar orientation, it wouldn't affect how we view it (it's far more reasonable to just preserve conventions in that form anyways). But it could also be that these aren't even coordinates for Earth.
I hate to be that guy but while fallout 3 was really good and innovative and brought fallout to 3d, New Vegas is a superior game. Sorry. Fo3 is still great though and I respect your opinion.

I've been traveling through the wasteland of the now destroyed world for a while now but I've only come across one place with other living beings. I can't quite remember what that place was called, but I think it was some sort of a hospital, or almost a mental rehabilitation center. There were alot of different creatures residing at this facility, and they even tried to get me to stay there with them as a "patient". This man called "Professor Clemmons" was especially keen on me staying but I politely declined, because I feel as though settling down isn't really my style. Anyhow, your program definitely makes me more relaxed and eases my mind when i'm on the road to wherever im going. Knowing that other people in these ruins of former world are faring well is the always the most relaxing thing to me. I shall now continue my journey, perhaps I'll even visit you someday. I wish everyone living in this world (or any other) the best. ~ A wanderer
