I feel priveleged as a South African to have had the chance to see him live and meet him, and he was such an unbelievable sport to chat to a young South African. He was the best spin bowler to have played the game, he revolutionized spin bowling. Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace. Gone but never forgotten.

Well I think cricket in South Africa simply isn't that popular. It doesn't help that their team always chockes. Blacks have migrated to American sports like NBA. Whites I don't see a large number. Even the sand paper incident, which happened in South Africa, wasn't given much footage.

Not legend, he was colossal. Will never be another like him. I'm gutted and feeling very flat this evening. RIP Warney, will miss you fella 😢.

Always Love❤️ Warnie bowl ,The greatest leg spin bowler of all time & my personal favourite one .
Leg spin Bowlers will come and go but there will no other leg spinner like showman Shane Warne .Once in a lifetime genius . Growing up Always enjoyed his great cricketing mind, skills and magic he created with ball ,an artist with the ball in his hand . Rest in peace .He will be missed forever .Evergreen Legend!❤️

A legend and a great bowler, a sad loss for cricket. Also the loss of Rodney Marsh less than 24 hours before.

I cant believe this. First Rod Marsh, then Warnie ... Aussie cricket has lost 2 legends and 2 great blokes. If anyone hasn't seen it, there was a recent documentary on Shane Warne called Warne it is a really good documentary giving insight into the man and the cricketer - aussie cricket, world cricket will miss you Shane Warne. RIP.

As a Englishman was sad to see the passing of Rodney Marsh but only a couple of days later Shane Warne. I hated them for their talent and destruction of us on the field. Both icons and my heart goes out to their families, we really did love them but hated loosing to them❤️
