I can't quite believe we're hearing all these reminiscences about him knowing that we'll never see or hear from him again. Everything that people have been saying about Warne is true, he really was that amazing.

Nasser, Mike Atherton & Shane Warne were my favourite pundits & I could listen all night when they had a discussion about things like captaincy & spin bowling. Nasser here is very composed & professional but inside he'll be devastated at the loss of a dear friend. Legend is an overused word, but it applies to Shane Warne. Gone way way too soon. RIP mate.

Back in 1997 while visiting the UK, one day in London somewhere near Harrods, I walked into a pub for a pint. The place was buzzing with cheers and chants as everyone was watching a cricket match on the Tele. After a moment or two of watching the guy pitching ;-)...I mean bowling!...I was in love with the game. Turns out it was Shane Warne. He was brilliant! In love with the game ever since. Nobody did it better. So sorry to hear about his passing, and so young.

He was also a fantastic father to Summer, Brooke and Jackson. A memorable human being to those who encountered him on and off the cricket pitch.

"great ball warnie" that too in an era of Sachin Tendulkar in India that was the impact of this legend... Saddened by the loss... A personality larger than life... We miss you warnie...
