Just got the Normal 18x20 whiteout (thankss for making me spend money again). Its genuinely a really good racket first try and so far loving it. Consistent hits, just needs a bit more depth on my forehands tho. But overall pleased with it.
The big advantage of the longer racquet is serve consistency. You may or may not be hitting harder serves but you will get more in. The tradeoff is typically in volleying or any shot where you have less time to set up because the racquet is more sluggish to get into position
I have the Serena Autograph and at 28 inches, it's just too different, although the word HOWITZER comes to mind. I cut it down, like Time410s did and I have to admit that the length is more manageable for me. I've got my eye on the Solinco Whiteout 305 EXT 18x20 due to the astronomical scores given by Tennis Warehouse. At $219 a pop, I may hang on to Serena a bit longer.
If you ever do another 100 sq in tier list or 100 sq in guide like you did with the 98s, please try a standard Blackout first. It's not for everyone but it's very good at what it's trying to do. If nothing else the stability + maneuverability combo might be unmatched
For enlargement products? No money changed hands and Solinco never asked me to say anything about any of these racquets. They did not see the video before its release.
I’m really curious about how the 28 inch blackout plays at the net, especially during fast paced volley exchanges in doubles. I’m an all court singles player, but play usta dubs from time to time but lack the power of some of my peers.
The bag slip, the ultra alpha move to show your club who’s the top dog. It seems like the perfect racquet for the “in shape yet slow on court club players”.
How would you rate the maneuverability for the Blackout XTD 28 with the high swing weight but extended at 28" ? I find some extended rackets like the Ezones, Vcores, Aero plus are quite hard to maneuver. Pure drive plus 2018 and 2021 are OK with me though. thank you
its shockingly fast and easy considering ours was 340SW and 28 inches. Nothing as easy as a stock racquet, but definitely one of the fastest feelings 340s ive ever tried
my guess is that TW will be the only outlet to review that racquet if they even do. My VCORE review didnt get a ton of action and + Yonex's usually not avail in Canada so probably wont happen for me either
Try timing your overhead smashes. You will know why extended length is not for everyone. You have to unlearn a lot of timing and unlearn again if you ever go back to regular length.
One inch can make a huge difference...😅 Tell the absolute truth : did you sell your soul to solinco ? Or does it really worth the swing ? I would love to see you play the head radical with the taylor wippy forehand .... pls 🥲 Thx for the vids Beckett 🎉
Solinco just emails me to tell me they are sending me a package and then i dont here from them again its a pretty nice deal hahaha. I think its a pretty fun meme just to try the 28s, but for me, the Blackout is much better and the Whiteout's max length is 27.5 before it becomes more noodley feeling that it should. I might do a more complete review/expose on these sticks as this is really just a first impression video
@@TennCom Thank you for both transparency and the work you put in. I love the universe tenncom. Both the writing and the photo are great. I know some high ranked player like ruud use an extended raquet. Fascinating subject. Thx for the response.
@@julestennisuniverse thanks so much Jules. XL's are definitely over represented in pro's compared to the general public. A topic i'd like to explore one day. Calling it the TennCom Universe might the biggest compliment I've ever received! Thanks so much for watching.
I use a 26 inch frame to prove I'm not compensating for anything
The slow bedroom sax music in the background just lets you know the extra inch is here to do you right .....
The ending was very honest without mincing words at all. Thank you.

Any idea where and when the Solinco 28 inchers will be available for purchase, even TW doesn't have them yet?
Best bet is probably to "enquire" directly through Solinco's website.
Convinced to get a whiteout for my first ever racket, great review, great price compared to the other brands.. but what length & string pattern? HELP

I would definitely not let those scores, nor my giving it "racquet of the year" influence you. It's a decent stick but not mind blowing.
Solinco please sell racquets in Canada
OK, Simon's final comment just made me spit up my lunch. You owe me a tablecloth, @TennCom!
ok send me your address and social security number and ill have my assistant send you something.
How about the big white one?
@@markbrodeur1707 , sorry but Simon is already spoken for...

i probably wont i dont feel like ive tried enough of the 100s lately to be accurate
oh but when i say 1 inch can do wonders everyone in the room goes silent🙄
in anticipation i think

Bro it's felt like 3 degrees celsius in East Van the last week or two you're a champ
yeah i also paid the price over the weekend for playing the wet and hyperextended my knee quite badly lol
I played for more than a decade with a PS 6.1 95 Stretch (18x20). These days I'm more into less demanding racquets since I'm not in my 20s anymore.

If you had to choose between the blackout XTD28 and the whiteout XTD 27.5 18/20 which one would you choose? Those seem like the best two.
Probably 18x20XTD because thats the closest to my current racquet but the Blackout 28 is more fun
You need to measure the sw i got a whiteout 18 x 20 at 310!!
While we are on the subject, what is the word on the Yonex VCORE 100+ 2023? I can find no reviews to date on this racquet.

i cannot hit a smash with any racquet in any sport
Neither can Djokovic, I wouldn’t be too harsh on yourself Beckett.
I use prestige g360+mid extending length 28inch.
an absolute flex hahaha

Are these long rackets any good on a buggy whip? I'm already narrowly avoiding my own head
the longer handle helps keep the hoop away from your head which is safe. when in doubt always wear a helmet.
