I got the one UI 2.5 update on Friday I live in the United States so my S20 ULTRA now does WIRELESS DEX and let me just say its awesome, I got my wife the NOTE2O ULTRA n she LOVES that phone she went from a NOTE 8 to the NOTE 20 ULTRA SAMSUNG is doing BIG THINGS with these phones LOVE YOUR CONTENT BRO keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!

Great review, however I think you missed showing 2 key features. When using the phone as the trackpad.........you should open text messages or email to show the keyboard appears for type input. Second, which I think most people will do with wireless DEX..........connect a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to truly simulate the computer experience and note your phone is always free for calls and more. And a lot of people don't realize your phone is always connected to the internet and this is a big benefit when you travel for work or say your on your boat / camper. And its NOT using data like a Hotspot! This is huge! PS........I think some recent Samsung models will be getting the 2.5 UI.........I have the Note 10 and can't wait for this upgrade!

Samsung has had wireless dex for a while now, I've been using it with my S9 plus, and my tab S5E for a few years now. But I just upgraded to the S22 ultra a few weeks ago and I'm glad that Samsung did not get rid of this feature.
Wow cool wireless connection introduced for samsung dex mode, but its not the only phone that can do this, huawei mate 20 pro already have this wireless desktop function since its release back in 2018

At the time, 3 weeks before you felt smart, it was only available on the the s20 ultra. Today, even the S9 is capable. You can watch videos from 5 years ago and feel really smart though if you want.
Wireless dex is pretty cool. It really should have some dedicated buttons under the trackpad thought such as Home, right, left, etc to extend functionality, and give quick access to these commands without having to know multi-finger gestures.

Works on fire tv and roku. On the fire tv in the setting under display and sounds you have to enable screen mirror. On the internet go to ustv.go and free cable should be able to google it works amazing good.
I can connect wirelessly via DeX to my PC. But mouse does not work and I do not have an option to use my phone as a trackpad. Can you help me and advise what can be done. I have Samsung Galaxy S21+. Thank you

To be specific, you need a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard not wireless ones. My issue with dex wireless is not being able to adjust font size and screen resolution. Every tv I have tried wireless dex on it has screen resolution and don't size greyed out in dex settings.
Yeah man. I got a $14 Bluetooth mouse to connect to the phone, so I can control dex with the mouse and use my phone as I would normally. Awesome. I switched from iOS specifically for this feature and it was worth it. But, I miss iOS notifications real bad.

If you are going to connect a keyboard or mouse it would have to be wireless Bluetooth so you would need a Bluetooth keyboard n mouse

Actually I use the S20 Ultra and I can confirm both wired and wireless dex does work with it. Tried it out today and worked fine.

How is the video playback for example on the Samsung video player or VLC, do you notice any substantial lag in audio or any other hiccups?
I tried playing a game from my phone and it lagged a tiny bit. Didn't try videos though good idea to try today

Make sure you've turned on the "SYNC" toggle in the quick settings panel and you'll never miss any notification like email, Twitter etc.
